Can’t go wrong when going to Billings Park. I went on Monday to see the full moon and it was a blessing. One of my favorite parks. Been going daily to take my dog for walks. People you see around there are generally nice. Great neighborhood.

Wonderful neighborhood riverside park; clean; well-maintained. Nice paved trail to walk around the point, many benches for sitting, picnic tables, 2 pavilions; very scenic. Boat ramp, outhouses. Modern attractive fishing pier very close by. Also a longer woodsy paved trail nearby for walking, biking.

The park is very clean easy to find. It has views of Duluth and St. Louis River. Not many people on a Sunday afternoon. Perhaps because of the Covid 19 pandemic.

I didnt hate it, just think its overrated. Blacktop trails. Come on! Neatly mowed every time I drive by. Are you kidding me! There is no way water is coming out of that drinking fountain, is there? Try Kelly park instead.

Our family loves this park! Beautiful walking trails along the river, great park for the kids, and nice pavilions that can be rented for large gatherings. The reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I would not go down here during late evening and early morning hours. There are some secluded areas of the park, and people who are up to no good are well aware of these areas. Its no secret in the neighborhood that there is drug activity in the park, typically during the off peak hours. We steer clear during dusk and dawn.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior, nice park and playground, and clean bathrooms. Trails around the lake seem a bit unkempt, with a lot of brush and trees growing over the trail. Overall, a great park to relax in.

This is an awesome park right in Superior next to the municipal forest. They have a variety of things to do here from gazebos, playgrounds, barbeques, and a wide variety of trails right on the river. There is also a boat launch along with many fishing spots throughout the length of the park. Some areas have a rustic feel with stone walls and wooden pathways. Would recommend visiting and hanging out if not just to check it out if you have never been there. Family oriented and people are generally really friendly.

Pretty nice boat landing. Good amount of parking space. One problem is the launch is very steep from people driving their boats onto their trailers, can make it a little tough to line up the pontoon onto the trailer properly.

We stayed by the playground area. It was pretty well kept, overall. The equipment was clean, but it is more appropriate for children older than 5 (lots of coordinated climbing that my 2 year old cannot do). The park seemed clean. We saw a few grills available, though we didnt use them. There is also a building with bathrooms, but we didnt notice any drinking water fountain/bubbler available. Maybe I missed it. Nice benches and picnic tables.

I love Billings Park and I can guarentee, the first time you drive threw the park, you will fall in love too!!I recomend on your 1st adventure there, take Belknap. This route will bring you to the St.Louis River then you will see the what is left of the Arrowhead Bridge. An old wooden bridge torn down now, but the foot of it has been well preserved as a fishing pier. After that the roads twists and winds coming out to Billings Park. As you make the 1st right (only way you can go) there is an entrance that will bring you to the boat landing- a beautiful doorway to a beautiful river. But you really want to stay on the road, keeping right that brings you to the enterance to one of the most relaxing, cleanest, safest, most enjoyable family retreats you can find in this area. There is two pavillions for large gatherings (call with plenty of time of your event, as they get reserved quickly) with plenty of room for everyone. There are picnic tables and areas with grills open for anyone. They have washrooms that are centrally in between the pavillions, they are conveniently (excellent thinking Superior) placed right next to the sand filled playground. Which, I might add, has something for all ages- WARNING - AT DAYS END CHILDREN HAVE BEEN VIEWED..., asleep in thier strollers, carseats, and parents arms...so be prepared!!Are you looking for a romantic stroll or just a calming walk or maybe a place to introduce your children to water? Yes, Billings Park has that as well. Towards the opening of the park, you will find a path with a medium downgrade; this opens up to a tour that wraps around the shoreline..., just for fun-Im not adding anymore about that; this is a very special place and everyone will have thier own experience that will mean something different. If magic is what your looking for then about 7:30pm or right at 6am (Im thinking is when it opens) is the times to be there. And last, go to the end of the drive in as it curves to bring you back down threw... theres a swing that you will want to sit at to take in the river. There are other areas I havent mentioned, but if I say all then it would not be as an exciting of an adventure now would it. I hope you and your family get as much enjoyment and build the many memories that will be reminenced for the rest of your lives. My family just went back there after many years. My children, nieces and nephews regaled all with all the wonderful times they had.Thanl you for reading and enjoy
