My 12 Year old son loves his guitar lessons with NorCal Teacher. We’ve research all over the places and are lucky to find a great teacher for him. He’s flexible and teaches my kids so much more than we expected. My son just can’t wait for his lessons!

Love this place! Ms. Trisha and Ms. Mary are amazing. Due to covid we are currently not attending but as soon as everything gets back to normal we will be back. Love you guys!

Open and friendly environment. Nice facility. My son has been taking violin classes from this center for couple of years and he has been learning a lot. Staff is friendly and open for any Q&A. Their recitals are also great platform for everyone to gain further experience.

We recently started piano lessons for our 5 yo here. I discovered it while walking through the complex. The group class was a great introduction for us. The class is moving at a pace that 5 yo can handle and the teacher is really great and patient with the kids. There are 6 kids in the class and never more. There class is 45 min and Im glad it isnt longer. Its hard for little kids to concentrate for longer. :). One thing I really love is they really want to build a community at the school. Their students are welcome to come and practice whenever they are open if you dont have a keyboard at no extra charge. That is really generous! We really have enjoyed the classes so far and hope to continue there for some time.

My two children and myself have been students of Norcal & Arts Center for almost two years, my children for guitar and myself for singing lessons. Not only it has allowed us to learn one of the most beautiful language, music, but it also brought a new dimension of communications at home. The approach of guitar by Eric (teacher of my children) is dynamic, playful and still very structured. Eric knows how to challenge my son who is older, and initiate my daughter to sounds and techniques. Fallon, my singing teacher, has an incredible talent as a singer and as a teacher, which allow me to be inspired and learn about my chords ability, the different types of voices, breathing techniques, and sounds. Every week there is small progresses, and I cant dream of a better school than this one to learn music.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars because I couldn’t be happier with Norcal Music and Arts Center! I never had formal music lessons and was looking for a place that would work well for adult beginners.I scoured the Bay Area and looked at dozens of schools. As soon as I walked through the front door, I knew I made the right choice. The manager (Mary) was friendly, flexible, and professional.Bev is an amazing teacher. She is extremely patient but still holds her students to a high quality standards. The kids around here also seem to love her. I never thought I’d be able to pick up violin as an adult but I couldn’t be happier with the progress I have made so far.Love my new hobby!

The best of the best place, where your children will truly enjoy learning. I am glad my daughter takes her violin class here, and her teacher, Amy is an awesome teacher, and the staff are amazing. You wont regret to send your children there.

Honestly I am so glad I made the decision to start taking guitar lessons at NorCal Music. I had tried before in high school and felt like I wasnt musically talented. However after working with Eric for just a couple months I think maybe Ill actually be able to play the guitar someday! It really is all about having the right teacher and Mary has an amazing and dedicated staff. I highly recommend coming here.

This is one of the best music and art schools in the Bay Area. My 6-year old has been transformed on the piano. They have recitals where kids can show off what they’ve learned twice a year. Overall, the team makes kids feel at home and the environment is highly conducive to learning.

My daughter thoroughly loves her Piano class as NCMAC. Miss Mary and all teachers are always very warm to all students and parents.

My kids have been playing piano since 2007 with NCMAC (previously NCSM). This place has a wonderful set of music teachers (piano, violin, saxophone, guitar, voice and many more) who have a great passion of teaching kids and instilling the love for music. We have been fortunate to be part of NCMAC family and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great musical journey for their kids.NCMAC also offers theory classes culminating in various levels of ‘Certification of Merit’ in California that truly marries your playing ability with the nuances of music reading and understanding.As graduating seniors my kids are going to miss this homely atmosphere after next year!
