If you would like to see beautiful exames of house lace is used please stop by this unique museum. 1 of a kind..
Very welcoming and knowledgable staff. Small museum, but great find!
This is a small but enthusiastically maintained museum of lace. They offer seasonal displays of vintage and antique lace of different styles as well as displaying examples of multiple types of lace made through various methods. They have a small shop with a selection of lace materials and an interesting collection of books on lace-making along with some lace pieces such as Christmas ornaments or lace-edged handkerchiefs or smocked baby dresses and so on.The staff is friendly and helpful and the environment is extremely welcoming. Its a small space, but definitely worth a visit if you enjoy any fiber arts. They also offer space for lace-making and other fiber-related craft meetings and classes. Check their schedule to see when the groups meet.
Enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff at this small museum. They offer classes and materials for lace-making.
Great little lace museum cum lace shop. Free (donate a few bucks if you like it!), and Ellie, the lady showing us around, was wonderful.
Nice museum, I saw bobbins first time and I find it very interesting.
This small space in a shopping center is packed with lace samples and beautiful designs, and staffed by knowledgeable people who are happy to share info with you.
Excellent rare collection with knowledgeable staff and curators.
