Gate was locked during open hours...not sure if COVID related? We still walked the trails. Nice playground and picnic spots. When back in on the trails there is a lot of road traffic noise which spoils the nature hike aspect. Overall it was a nice morning out.

Fun trail, just beware of snakes. We have seen copperheads on the trails and water moccasins near the river.

Beautiful, short trail that takes you to the banks of the Ashley River. There are covered picnic areas at the start of the trail, as well as restrooms. The trail includes educational signs about local fauna and history. There is one dog poop station on the main trail. I do enjoy this trail but it does have its downsides. Its a very short trail. Its located close to a main, busy road so its not very quiet. I also found that there was a decent amount of trash on the trail. I pick up what I can but please respect your surroundings and clean up after yourself. Your trash could injure wildlife!

Nice trail with dog waste containers. No benches except picnic tables at start of the trail. There is a huge maybe 10ft wide tree at the end of the trail. Bring your bug spray.

A very nice trail. Very walkable full of nature we saw a couple of little birds in the tree it was a little bit wet cuz weve had some rain but that just made it a little more challenging. Took two little doggies with us and they loved it too.

Rosebrock Park on Beech Hill Road in Summerville is a well managed and maintained county park and has really good trails for hiking in the forest. This is a great place to go to during the middle or end of a busy day to relax and connect with nature in a meaningful way. I have had a really good experience every time I have been to this park.

Wish the trail was better marked, but a great trail, in the winter at least. Because so much of it is wet, the mosquitoes are terrible. Bring bug spray!

This is an absolutely beautiful walking place! I took my two dogs for a great walk, the trees are so beautiful I had to stop and video call my mom. The signs with information about the local wildlife are a fun touch,. I think this would be a great place for families.

This is a great little neighborhood park. A good place to take your dogs for a walk in the woods, or a nice place to enjoy some bird watching. If youre coming in the summer, bring some bug spray!

Named after my PePaw, Richard Rosebrock, Dorchester County Councilman for over 20 years, this park is place of family pride and his love of everyone and the great outdoors. PePaw did have a hand in the development of this park, but they named it after he retired, I know from speaking to him he had plans to put in access points for Kayaks and conoes and some other things...maybe it will happen at some point. Go and enjoy and if I am close to Summerville you can guarantee you will see me out there with my lovely wife and Dutch Shepards.
