I still like to visit there, but not that great. The sales staff in Clam Shell not helpful. The sale guy at the skin place across the street is rude. This is 2nd time Ive experienced it. He stands outside trying to lure customers in. If you dont go in he makes rude remarks. The homeless woman I see everywhere, sitting on curb or inside Stuart Coffee Shop charging her phone, speaking on phone, not buying anything as her rollaway suitcase there by her side. There are young people walking around in pairs dressed up in bee costumes, but shop employees dont know why. I dont go to Osceola Cafe anymore after one issue. Overall, it does seem the customer is not the 1st priority, of course getting their cash is. It is not a place I want to bring guests.

I absolutely love my hometown! Love downtown Stuart shopping! I am, however, disappointed at the shop at which the employees attempt to draw people in with samples of skincare products...this isnt the Treasure Coast Mall. Hoping they leave downtown.

The historical downtown area is really pretty. Lots of art shops, gift shops, cafes, and restaurants. Many benches are available for sitting and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The area is pet friendly as well. The best part is the boardwalk along the river. The structure is well maintained and nature-friendly. The side rails are not available for most of the walkways so be careful when walking with kids.

A motorcycle buddy of mine rode from New Jersey to Palm Beach County. We had no problem traveling 1,200 miles but as soon as we got to Stuart and stopped for lunch at the Boathouse, we both got parking tickets in an area which did not even have a No Parking sign. Another example of a 2 bit small town whose agenda is ripping off tourists. I will never visit Stuart again and neither will any of my friends and business associates.
