Nice park to visit. The playground is great and its nice to see so many people playing tennis. I had a nice time visiting!

One of the best parks I know of. The trails last for miles and miles. The bike paths are well maintained with signs giving you direction and experience level...follow all signs...the playground is fun for the kids with shade canopys up. Also fenced in areas for baseball, soccer, or allowing our dogs to run off some steam...ive spent hours with my family here and traveled miles thru its pathsWould easily give it 50 stars if possible.

It can get busy but the trails are nice and shaded, though they need a little maintenance. The park is very big & you can bring your dogs!

The park is absolutely huge with so many different trails for biking an hiking. Also has soccer, baseball, and a disc golf course. It also has an awesome huge lake that Im dying to fish. The hiking trails that I went on was at least 4 ta 5 miles long total an i still have more to explore. Love this place. Lil recommendation i have is go the the trails by the baseball fields

Great park! A playground, skate rink, kayak routes, hiking and biking trails. This park has everything and is hidden right off the main road and 95. Great place for all ages.

Good mountain biking trails. Not great. But good

This is an outstanding trail that I will be back to often! Well paved, bike trails, frisbee golf, and more. So many gopher tortoises (remember do NOT touch)!!! Really nicely kept and picnic tables are wheelchair friendly.

Great park when it is dry. Trails get soggy with significant rain. Lots of trails and excellent sports facilities.

I love this park. It offers so much recreation . Kayaking, Hiking and biking trails, Horseback riding trails, Baseball fields, soccer fields, Hockey rink, Tennis courts. Plenty of public restrooms and soda vending machines as well and public picnic areas with tables under shelter. I love walking here at least twice a week and there is also plenty of wildlife to see!

Loved the open spaces and well maintained trails. The water was pretty and the trees kept it shady and managed the heat. The fields, courts and playgrounds are also well maintained. Overall, a terrific experience.

Its so peaceful and has all kinds of walking With placards that have little write ups about what kinds of wildlife your likely to see during your walk.

Great family friendly park. it features picnic areas, ball-fields, tennis courts and soccer fields. The hiking along the South Fork of the St Lucie River is great fun with excellent sights of the river and native vegetation. Halpatiokee is the Seminole word for Alligator Water.

Love this place! I go for the bike trails which there are different difficulty levels if you want a leasure ride or something more intense. Theres also separate trails for those on foot.

Excellent pickleball courts, many courts to choose from and all are in excellent shape!

This park has it all! Aside from the sports venue and picnic pavilions we love to use the extensive trails along the river for hiking. There is access to hidden lakes where weve gone fishing and kayaking - peaceful, quiet, and serene. The mountain bike trails are FABULOUS. Almost 8 miles of trails with something for the beginner to expert. All of the trails are well marked and there is a handy map at the trailhead.

This is a nice park. With trails to hike and bike surrounded by trees with wonderful view to the river. There are béisbol, soccer and football fields, as well as tennis courts. Very well maintained. With easy and free access this park is a jewel.

Very wild place. Walking and bike trails are trimmed as to be accessible. Road to boat ramp needs some grading.

Great trails with a good chance to see gators and Black Racers.

Track is challenging for beginners and intermediate riders. When I went I was all by myself and the trail was totally unknown to me. Will go back to sharpen my skills. FYI....the trail is narrow.

This is a great park! Tennis courts, soccer fields, hockey rink, hiking and biking trails and playground. The playground is small but we love that is had shade now. I saw a lot of reviews that said things about a gift shop and renting a canoe or kayak which isnt true. There is a place but its up the road and not part of this Martin County park. But there are so many other things to do. We love to go on family hikes here. The trails are marked well and kids and adults have a great time.

This is a beautiful park to walk and mountain bike. Theres lots of nature trails and lots of places to stop and have a picnic. We let the dogs roam off leash because we visited on a weekend but I would advise doing this with caution. Its nice being a male because I was able to pee freely on the trail, but my girlfriend wasnt so lucky. This was a nice place for me to try to spot an alligator in the river. Ill be back one day.

Tasks trails here are amazing

This park is amazing!! It was so huge, had soccer fields, tennis courts,frisbee golfing, different paths and beautiful nature to see. 10/10 would go back to it! Loved it, it is also dog friendly which is a huge plus and had hoses for the dogs to drink and benches throughout to eat lunch

Beautiful park that has something for everyone. Mountain biking through the 7.5 Miles of tight twisty single track is what keeps me coming back. The trails are well-maintained and can accommodate any skill level. The trails are well marked with plenty of variation with different loops in the trail system, or even create your own.

Drove 45 minutes for the mountain biking trail and it was so worth it! Fast flowy intermediate single track, as good as and better than any Palm Beach County trails.

It was my first time, but just lovely. I didnt see any play ground for kids such as swings and so fourth, but the track was great. It was well kept.

Used to be beautiful water till the company building Michael Jordans golf course off of Bridge Road dumped and continues dumping mud into the headwaters. Now its silty muddy brown water instead of clear black water.

A place to reflect but yet not isolated from others...

Other than accidentally entering the employees only entrance... We had a great time at Halpatiokee. The birding on the trails was pretty good (pileated & red-bellied woodpeckers), but nothing beat the soccer and baseball fields where we observed sandhill cranes, northern bobwhites, grackles, starlings, mockingbirds, and about a million ibises. The hiking trails were very well-maintained if imperfectly indicating distance. Our goal was to meander, and we hiked a good 2 miles. Well go back and explore more of the park soon.

What a fantastic park!! Beautiful surroundings. Lots of covered pavilions and picnic areas. Sports fields well maintained. Very impressed with grounds crew who turned flooded softball fields into masterpieces within 6 hours for a softball tournament.

Beautiful and nice nature trails

Fun 10 hole course. Great tee signs, tee pads, and fairways. Course subject to some flooding in the rainy season. Highly recommend

Easy to get to from 95. Parking is easy. Place is well kept. Has a mtb trail. Not to technical, but it a change from the others. Less traveled, and thats the best part is its not over crowded like JD park. The photos included are the only challenging features. Its mostly under shade which is nice.

Fantastic park with lots of fun things to do. You can play sports, rent an kayak or just watch the wildlife. There are baseball fields and a roller hockey rink. Really great place to take the kids.

Great place for Mt Biking; as close to the old Florida trails that are left. This isn’t a completely man made trail system like JD or some of the other parks made for speed and jumping.Thank goodness that there’s some natural trails left

Great hiking and bike trails

We go here to ride the mountain biking trails, nothing really technical but some fun trails and theyre a good workout.

Its a public park with soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis, pickleball and even the rare disc golf course. There is even also an inline hockey rink. There seems to be a nature trail or off road bike trail but Ive never been there. The restroom facilities are few and scattered. Although its just of the highway, it is part of a larger nature preserve so it feels well wooded. Its quite a comprehensive park for alot of sports.

I love walking the trails in the morning. Its always clean. Beautiful views. My dog likes it too.

Great place for a good hike or just a stroll, and every activity you can imagine... frisbee golf, roller hockey, the works. Lots of nature as well which is what I look for.

An easy Florida walk. Lots of options within the loop of the trail. Be ready to get muddy in a few spots. Beautiful flowers, birds and the occasional snake. Numerous photo options. Be cautious of the ants. Not hearing any traffic was my favorite part. I was just there to hike. It looks like a park with lots of amenities including a Rollerblade rink.

This is a really fantastic park. The nature trails are well planned and taken care of. The park is clean. So many activities with multiple trails through the nature preserve, ball fields, primitive camping, kayaking, street hockey rink, disc golf, tennis, and more.

Oh my GOODNESS, if you have never been to this park it is a must go!!! Having a big party, no problem they have room for you. Oh so you want to play some lawn games with the kids? Sure there is grass all around to do just that. They have at least 3 if not more ball diamonds that you can call and reserve a field and a covered area for your cookout either before or after playing ball with co workers or something. Do you just want something quite and relaxing? They have that also on some very nice walking trails.This place is TRULY beautiful they maintain it very well.

Nice smooth single tracks. Has enough technical areas to a challenge. Almost eight miles to do the whole trip.
