Peaceful easy living

Lovely quiet place to live. People are pleasant. Im fortunate to live on the lake and have a gorgeous view. The sunsets are awesome. Very peaceful and serene. The pool areas are immaculate. Great place to live.

Living here going on 5 years and while there have been some manager issues the current manager has proven to be quite good. Very involved in keeping everything up to snuff. Have seen major improvements in many areas in the short time he has been here. As we are a 55+ community I have no problem with the rules that apply to grandchildren and visitors.

Traffic is horrible, be careful not to get run over. Terrible upkeep over the years, needs major improvements.

Not sure how to rate or review this type of place...Roads are like a washboard. Lot rent is ridiculously high in my opinion.

I am a resident of Pinelake Gardens & Estates, a community owned by Hometown America. I have lived here soon to be 5 years. Unfortunately this property has fallen into a state of decline over the past 2.5 years. There have been management issues, as we have not had a steady manager in about that much time. 5 years ago I would have rated this community much higher. The website indicates an onsite manager, this is not true, and imho this has hurt our community. The residents that make up this community are a terrific and caring group of people. If things continue on the current path, I fear they will move.

We are so fortunate to actually own a home in Pinelake and cant say enough about this wonderful community!! Such nice and caring neighbors, homes and yards are so well kept and lots of activities if you so desire!! Would give it 10 stars if I could!

Nice elderly housing quite and friendly !

55+ community. PROS: Nice clubhouses,pools,amenities, lakes. Numerous activities & optional HOA. Preserve areas have more privacy, some with views. Dog-friendly, with fair monthly lawn-mowing fees. Fenced storage yard for boats, trailers, rvs. Nighttime security patrol. Poorly managed at first, but changeover was big improvement. Sadly, that great manager (Carla) has left. Nothing known about new manager. CONS: Many unfriendly cliques that are not welcoming to newcomers, younger seniors, & minorities. Not very child-friendly..extremely limited pool times for visiting grandchildren, & nothing for kids to do. There is animosity between many of those that live in phase 1 (Gardens) & phase 2 (Estates), and smokers consistently violate the pool area rules. Still, one of the better mobile home parks in area.

My mom lived a joy filled life with the man of her dreams at pinelake gardens. She was happy and at peace there. Beautiful, clean, relaxing community.

We have a home here in Pinelake Estates and absolutely LOVE the neighborhood!! Well kept, friendly neighbors and very safe! So happy we found Pinelake!!
