Concert sound was awesome. Souvineer cups were awesome, but sodas were $6 each with $4 refills. Kinda high. The railing on the back step almost killed me. It was rusted out and almost fell over when I tried to use it on the stairs. Before the end of the night It had completely fallen over and someone was being arrested for knocking it over. It was already broke. Managment let him be arrested anyway because he flipped out when he fell and hurt himself. I hope that all works out. But the building is beautiful. Sound bounce is nice. Concert seating is great!!

Small theatre atmosphere, saw Mama Mia with a great cast. Steep stairs to the basement to reach the concessions.

Very nice, small theater. I like that they show old movies in a laid back atmosphere. And they bring in shows that you cant find elsewhere. Between the high quality shows, the Christmas movies, and the mystery series, it is always fun. Buy a Legacy glass and get discounted refills on soda, wine, or beer.

So cool to see this retro theater, plus great musical entertainment with live music. I also lived the old movies there to. Bachelor mother with Ginger Rogers was awesome!

We saw Bright Star...best show of the year, for certain. Loved it and have always loved the Legacy. The rehab of the theater is great.

Hosted a scholarship program at the theater and it was wonderful! The staff and crew are professional and highly skilled. They took care of us all day and the program ran so smoothly because of them.

Absolutely fabulous!!! This was my first visit to the Legacy Theatre in many years, and it looks completely different! Love the decor and the updates. Original seats in the theater give it the nostalgia feel complete with the red velvet curtain for the screen/stage. Excellent atmosphere for a fun evening with family and friends.

Great productions Went to see Summer of Love last night. Im always amazed at the quality of the performance and the cleverness of the productions.

I have been to Legacy Theatre twice. First time to see my teenage granddaughters high school play which was great. Last week I saw Momma Mia with some seasoned actors and it was fantastic!!!!! The theatre is a smaller more intimate setting. You can purchase snacks and drinks including some alcoholic beverages too. The stage is smaller, but both plays had no problem conveying their settings and the sound was perfect. I will go again and again.

Saw hairspray at the Legacy this afternoon and what a fantastic show some really powerful singers it was excellent

The Legacy was formerly a community theater venue but several years ago, new owners completely updated it. The acoustics are excellent making it a fantastic venue for concerts. I see the band Venice perform whenever they come to Springfield. Their first couple shows were at Hoagland which is perfectly nice, of course, but acoustically the Legacy is better. For music, it is THE place in Springfield for smaller shows. (It seats 302.)

The site has a nice atmosphere and is great for all ages. Although its a pretty small building, I was impressed by its quality. I thought this theater only showed plays and musicals but the other night they showed a couple of local short films. Its nice to discover places like these in Springfield.

This Tupperware show you had was one of the nastiest shows that I have ever been to. I spent 210 dollars for seven of us to come and we left s soon as the filthy language started. We will never come back to youre place again if this is what you are going to have. This was just disgusting.

A bit too cozy, but a fun place

The Legacy Theatre in Springfield consistently has very good productions. But upon occasion, it will present a show that truly rivals any broadway production. A perfect example of this is Newsies which is currently running in July of 2017. See it if you can! Its amazing!
