When I made a tee time for today, I was only made aware of an outing on the Maple course. So we made a tee time for the locust course and started on the back. When we made the turn, we were stuck behind an outing on the front 9 of the locust course. Had I known this, I would have golfed elsewhere. Next time, let the golfer know what is going on. They may not make a tee time for that day, but they will come back if you provide good service.
Love these courses. Always have a great time coming out and playing 18. Well kept and very reasonable prices. The food is great, too.
The people working charged us extra and the prices didnt match up. We have a school discount so it should have been 25 and we were charged 43. It is a nice golf course though and really good for school functions
Extremely laid back. The staff is helpful and engaged. Wonderful first impression. A bit of a drive from Dayton but, so worth it.
Course is still in great shape for this late into the season!
Great place to play golf staff friendly best prices in aera.would definitely recommend
Was the worst18 holes i played this year the pro shop employes dont do their job taking complants from the golfers they let you scream and play music out on the golf course i give it 0 stars. Brian Mclean
Course was as well as it could be after vfc the recent heavy rains. Great time with good friends. Best staff in the business. Always helpful and professional.
Nice courses nice people. Always a pleasant experience.
Very acceptable course with a friendly and helpful staff.
Very reasonable price and fun layout. Pro shop staff is always friendly and accommodating. This course is perfect for a casual group, and it’s located about halfway between Columbus and Dayton. I’ve been playing here for about 12 years and have never had a bad experience.
Winter rate was great
Course is in much better shape than I remember it being when I played it years ago. Have been here a few times this year already. Large greens, well maintained fairways/rough....nice wide open layout to keep things fun. Unless youre expecting prestigious country club conditions, you should enjoy!Update: Had to change from a 5 to a 4 after I experienced an encounter that really rubbed me the wrong way. Will still be back to play more though.
Another great outing this year for WPAFB! The staff is awesome and always willing to do what they can to give us a great day. The pork and chicken is so good every year! Thank you all and can’t wait to see you again next year
Laid back and friendly. Well kept, but not a PGA tour course. Good food. Putting green is nice and a decent driving range. Nice Yamaha carts.
Always a pleasure going on our semiannual office golf outings at Locust Hills. Both courses present some nice challenges but not so much as to be discouraging. Greens and fairways are always well kept. Staff is always friendly and helpful with running the outings, and the pork loin/quarter chicken lunch keeps people coming back year after year! Weve enjoyed it enough that the wife and I have made LH one of our short-list alternates when we get tired of playing our home course.
Great courses. They have two 18 hole courses. The fees are very reasonable, Low Cost Hills, and best of all it is BYOB as it is a dry area. Which makes it even more affordable. Family owned and they do an awesome job!
Great course with reasonable greens fees. If you like to sit back with a cold one on the 19th hole youll have to bring it with you. They dont sell alcohol here, but its definitely worth your time to play. Both 18 hole courses are well maintained and challenging but playable. This club is a regular stop on our weekly outings.
My family went to a charity glow ball event here. Ive played foot golf before, but not at night. We had a lot of fun.
Several interesting 9 hole courses to mix/match up your skills to. Greens roll true, w/ most players considering them fair and quick. The playing conditions alone make Locust Hills a gem to play and a lot of fun!Eventhougj I live in Troy, OH, I have a lot of golf buds who live in Columbus and LHILLS splits the driving distance perfectly. They love it!
I like both courses. Not the most difficult courses around, but they have some challenges. Excellent customer service and the pro is great.
Locust Hills has been my home course for 10 years. If you are looking for meticulously groomed fairways and greens, beverage carts and scratch golfers at every tee then Locust Hills is not for you. But if you are looking for a beautiful course with lots of trees and just enough hazards, friendly staff and no persnickety timekeepers, that charges a reasonable rate then this is the place for you. There are two challenging 18 hole courses that each have their own personality and difficulties. One last thought, I also respect them for their value of those in full time ministry by offering them a significant discount. Way to go Kitchen family!
I have always liked playing this course. Right now the fairways are not as good as they usually are, not as much grass. It is still a good course to play. Staff is always very friendly.
I was there for the Springfield National Trail Lions Club glow Ball Golf scramble and I was so impressed with the buffet meal that the facility provided. It was better than most plated banquet meals.
This is the best course in the local Dayton area . First of all they have two 18 hole courses both are hard and easy at the same time . Second the staff is second to none they take customer service to another level. Third the pro shop isn’t lacking at all they have all the golf balls and types you could want not to mention shoes, Shirts, clubs, hats and etc . Fourth the price for a round isn’t outrageous at all and kids under 9 are free . No matter what time of year the fairways and greens are taken care of . Overall you could not go wrong playing this course . I play at least twice a month if not more and I’m never disappointed !!
Fun, cool course. My only complaint is the drive to get there. Prices are pretty good though.
Course in great condition. After tournament food service was awesome! Keep up good work.
Beautiful course, and the employees in the club house was very helpful and respectful. This was my 11 year olds first golf trip and the club house let him pick out a golf ball for his first golfing trip. I believe my family will attend this course frequently.
One of my favorite courses for the money. Always has a good pace of play, greens roll well and not a ton of water or bunkers. Good for duffers like me
Course is in really good shape. No bunkers really, but well placed trees provide a good challenge.
Good course for the price. Nice greens. Some tight fairways. Most greens were pretty small so bring your wedge game.
Nice course, and friendly staff. Started first nine at 845. Then at turn got stuck behind small group outing. Play on second nine very slow.
Extremely nice people at the course. The course is in good shape and all skill levels will enjoy the course.
Hreat
Beautiful. Clean. Very courteous staff. Rented their banquet hall for a birthday celebration.
Very good service and the price was very cheap.
Course was in excellent shape. Great meal provided with our outing too.
BYOB, they cant sell beer, but welcome coolers. Awesome place, course is in great shape, June 2017
Great course with a really friendly staff. Its really well kept and the prices are reasonable.
Member last year. Very nice course the staff is the best Ive ever experienced thanks to the Kitchen family

Family owned golf course. They are the nicest people in the world.
Great courses with the best customer service on the country.
Always had a great time playing here.
Beautiful course but can get lost sometimes. No alcohol sales but you can bring your own cooler

Great course and people in Pro shop are the friendliest.
Probably my favorite course to play. A hidden gem, youll be glad you stumbled onto.
A very forgiving course while still being challenging.
Beautiful course and very friendly people.
Its ok, the course is hard as a rock, so its not forgiving...
