Took my 6yo for a day in the park. He played at the playground and loved it. Then we went walking the trails and went to the canoe ramp and walked down to the creek. It was so nice. Hot but still nice to be out.

Awesome place to walk most of the year, there are a few months where mosquitoes are out in force by the creek. 2 large dog parks, open by size dog. Play areas with open bathrooms adjacent. And my favorite ... Excellent birding.

It was nice, we enjoyed chilling in the water. As a parent I didnt have to really worry about my kids cause the water wasnt deep. I have teenagers and they love to test the limits when it comes to water. Its a nice little get away close to home.

I originally only came here for the dog park, which are great, but the real crown jewel for me is Spring Creek. The water is pretty clean, the beach too, and you dont have to have n river shoes. It is mostly pretty shallow, and the deeper parts are easy to see. The current is not strong, so it is perfect for even small children and dogs. Its like a mini Galveston only prettier, cleaner, quieter, safer, and less crowded. As for the dog parks, I really like that they have parking nearby. Having the large and small parks side by side is also great because friends meeting up can still talk and hang out even if their dogs are not sized for the same park. It is pretty shady all day too over the majority of both parks. I wish they had a dog and people fountain like Meyer Park has though. There is a spigot here and usually a bucket though. This is now my preferred park to frequent. Not much else I could want from a park.

When it hasnt been raining, the water in Spring Creek is pretty low, but still enough to enjoy a swim. But when its been raining, the water is much higher, and the current is strong. A float is recommended when the water level is high, you could easily float a mile or more. The beach is generally not too crowded, and the trails are long enough that you can walk for a decently long time without even seeing anybody else. This park is like an oasis, you dont get any noise from cars, and if you walk down the creek a bit, you wont even hear people from the beach areas, and you can swim anywhere in the creek. This is a great place to bring children, its very family friendly, and there are so many places you can go and see nature and learn about the plants in the area. I personally havent seen much animal life outside of some birds, but I would imagine that if you really went looking, you could find most any type of animal. I recommend Pundt Park for anybody who has kids or dogs, because there are so many trails and places to find the creek, and when I went last time, I saw several trailers of horses, which makes sense because there are many miles of equestrian trails here. And one thing that I really enjoy about the trails is that they are mostly covered by woods, so even in the middle of the day, you will get 90% shade while walking the trails, which is great in the summer.

This park is great. My dogs love it cause they get to play with their friends in a large area. I love it cause I get some light exercise in and socialize with some dog lovers. The park is well maintained. It could use some new dog pools and bowls. As far as i understand, the owners donate those. So if you have a spare large bucket that stands about 1 foot tall, please bring it in.

This park is a little ways out from me but I like it. It has lots of trees, lengthy trails for walking, hiking, cycling, and horse back riding. You will come across your normal creatures at times during your visit (squares, snakes, turtles etc.)It has a dog park and a childrens playground. Also Constables patrolling as well. Depending on the day and time it can become crowded and busy but still a very nice park.

Great park space in north Harris County, that’s along Spring Creek. This is a small park, that also includes a large dog park, with it’s own walking path. This park has plenty of paved walking trails that are close to the creek. Pundt Park offers access to the Spring Creek Greenway Trail, a 16-mile paved hike and bike trail currently connecting Dennis Johnston Park, Stahl Preserve, Carter Park, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, and Highway 59 in Humble. There are also picnic tables, and children’s activity areas. There is also a primitive canoe launch area.

The park seems beautiful. We spent the day at the creek and the kids swam. The water was cool (despite it being nearly100 degrees) and clear with a mostly sandy bottom. And shallow enough (since we hadnt had a lot of rain recently) for a 2 year old to splash around and swim in. The current could be kind of strong for the shallow water but it was easy getting used too. I WOULD recommend bringing wipes or gallons of water in your car to rinse off how sandy you get, lots of sunscreen and LOTS of liquids to drink in the summer. We all used 100 spf and STILL got sunburned on our backs and dehydrated. But it was gorgeous and we plan on going back.

Excellent park. It is very well kept and clean, and the park rangers and police are very kind and keep the park safe. There are multiple ponds that have bass and panfish, and are also stocked with rainbow trout in January and February. There are numerous trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding. There is also a greenway (pretty much a road for hikers and bike riders that is surrounded by woods) that follows spring creek and connects multiple parks. It has water coolers along the way to fill up water bottles but if you dont have any bottles theres paper cups. The water stops are not in use right now because of Covid-19 (check the date this was posted it may not be relevant later on), but usually theyre present. I think the greenway is 15-20 miles long right now but it is projected to stretch 40 miles in a couple of years. my favorite part of the park is the creek. It is open for swimming and kayaking, and Ive caught quite a few fish in there. There is also tons of wildlife, especially in the morning. Theres also a dog park and playground if you have kids or dogs.
