The atmosphere is Definitely nice and laid back. We had crawfish and it was good as well. The only thing was the serving staff. Felt like they were trying to get us out and rush us through our meal. Its a bar so Im not expecting the best service but they can definitely Improve on making it better. Other than that, pretty cool place to try.

Its a nice place with a huge sitting area. Pretty crowded on usual days. They serve really good snacks and beer. I have been there for a team-building with my colleagues. Enjoyed a lot. You can watch football. There is ample of parking.

The waitress was five stars. The layout was five stars. The food was standard bar food quality so nothing great but certainly satisfying with a beer. The behind the bar service was extremely slow and needs improvement. Bonus for karaoke Fridays and the variety of games: sand volleyball, horseshoes, beer pong, darts, golden tee, pool.

Love this place. But i had the crawdiddlys and to me they needed a little bit more flavor to them. Other than that service was great and atmosphere was good. Havnt been here for years until that day and loved it.

Ive been here a only a couple times, just moved to the area... I havent had the bad experiences of some of the other reviews, if that changes Ill definitely update. Went on a Tuesday, which was apparently burger night... The bartender was polite and helpful with the burger specials and beers that they were paired with. The burger was cooked well and actually better than expected, the fries were very standard bar fries. I would go here again, nice place to sit with a beer while enjoying the weather.

If you like a rude staff by all means this place is for you! Worst place ever with boring cheaply made and served food, outdated bathrooms. Prices are not reasonable, I ll take my money elsewhere, where actually feel welcomed!

So I really like this place ... i have been twice and the atmosphere is just right for me ... the drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are cool! I kind of like the indoor/outdoor look and feel. Its kind of become and after work spot for the guys. As a matter of fact about to schedule another visit soon!

Went to Papas after work today. Drank a beer waiting on my crawfish. Awesome staff, laid back atmosphere, and the crawfish were fantastic. The exact spice for my taste. And only $3.99 a pound. I highly recommend this place and Ill be back!

Excellent place to grab a drink and relax. Very relaxed atmosphere and family friendly. Cheese sticks were amazing and the crawfish smelled amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try the crawfish. Prices are very reasonable.

So hot on an afternoon. Fans help blow the humid air. Good food, cold beer, not the most polite wait staff. Great if youre a sports fan, irritating if not. Was here for a political rally. Staff seemed quite unprepared.

Great family place and the best wings in Spring!

Relaxed and easy bar with some shout out to Pittsburgh teams which I always like. It is very casual as it is an Icehouse after all. We do some work happy hours here and navigating the I45 traffic / Rayford traffic can be a bit of a hassle. However, if you drive it a couple of times, you realize how getting to the far right off the feeder as quickly as possible is the way to go. All I have done is drink beer so I cant comment on well drinks. If you are looking for a trendy hipster bar, this is not it. If you want an easy place to relax with friends after work, this is it.

Nice big indoor/outdoor seating with a warehouse roof. Went during a September Monday so there was a nice breeze and not a lot of people there. I imagine its packed on the weekends though.No Kraft beer and their famous muffuleta was very dry :(

The prices here are really fair and the bartenders are always moving and super fun. Brandon is my favorite! They have fans everywhere to help regulate those hot Texas days and I like that you can control the music. Great place for a group!

Open air bar in Houston is not ideal in the summer. Loud TVs and uncomfortable seating. It seems like very little thought was put into making it a pleasant place to spend time.

Used to go here all the time, but on this occasion, we had my husbands birthday party there. Had a wonderful time, the beer was cold and the staff did their best to make sure our needs were met. Thank you Papas, we love you!!

Im not a first timer there but my granddaughter was. We love it. She wants to take her boyfriend on a date there. Great staff. Super comfortable atmosphere and love the food.

Wings were good but I waited over 30 minutes for a waiter. I finally went to the bar to order. I waited an additional 45 minutes for my food. The servers and bartenders were very friendly. Atmosphere was cool on the open patio and lots of room and tables. Alot of teams come there to celebrate. So plan to wait. I still give 4 stars. 5 if the service was a little faster. Would definitely go again.

They were short staffed the Saturday we were there but let us know right away. We understood because the charity softball tournament we were part of down the road didnt let them know it was going on that weekend. Staff stayed friendly and did a great job given the situation. On a Sunday afternoon, its a nice relaxed atmosphere with families playing pool or volleyball outside, and lots of good conversation and food. Applause to this place for not playing the music so loud, so we could actually talk with each other.

Really just a placeholder review until I come back and try the grub (I heard the burgers are good) but I did tangentially come here for a BBQ competition that was being held in the parking lot and the place had karaoke, a spacious open-air bar, volleyball courts, bar games... its a legit place to come and bring your friends for some quality times.

The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcome. Its a bit of a drive for me but i will continue to go to Pappas. They always make me feel welcome

By far my favorite place to unwind with friends. The hot wings are simply the best around (coming from the northeast, I know good wings). Usually a good group of people willing to chat with you even if you arent known by anyone. The place is also big enough if you just want to unwind with your thoughts and sip on a drink. Can get a tad hot in the summer, though it is an ice house so what do you expect.

I enjoyed Wednesday steak night. The salad and baked potato tasted great too. Tanya is a very friendly and efficient server.
