Klein Oak class of 1989 meets here fairly regularly and we really enjoy it! It has something for everyone and is large and open. I would recommend this place to anyone getting a group together or just hanging with a few friends.

My wife and I really enjoy the atmosphere. The prices arent to outrageous, but the mixed drinks are very watered down. The bartenders dont really care if you know. They will mix a drink in front of you and add a splash of liquor,I stick with beer or shots personally.

Good place to take a date but not so much for single guys. Live music and good pool. Plenty of TVs and nice crowd. Only 4/5 because Im single. But really nice place with great staff

Fun Place. Great layout and usually a good atmosphere. I will say that the DJ is annoying. He sings over songs on his mic. If Im listening to a song I like then I want to hear the song...not a random person (outside of Karaoke where I signed up for such an experience). The food is good too but the DJ truly makes a difference and gives a negative impact. Try to catch a band and its all great!Oh and one night I was sitting right next to my bar and my bartender closed my tab for walking even though I was still there and it was no where close to 2am. It was really weird. I only ordered like 2 drinks that night but I was still there. And to top it off, she tipped herself and I had already tipped cash earlier that night. They keep your debit card so this really made no sense.

What a great place to hang out. Check out the menu. My favorite is my girlfriends not hungry. Lol every restaurant should have this upgrade. - add extra order of fries and 2 chicken stripes.

Doesn’t answer calls when you’re trying to reach them for emergencies, like when you leave your card there and you want to know if it is there. Poor customer service.

Good place to kick back for a cold one. If you like shuffleboard fun place. Good for big games with what looks like a 120 screen out back near 2nd bar. Drinks are good and beer cold. If your in need of good food although recommend you dont eat here. Safe place with good local clientele. Security on weekends.

Excellent venue for a concert! I was standing right next to one of my favorite bands.

This is a mainstay Texas Icehouse that has stood the test of time and has an abundance of activities each night-from steak nights to crawfish to karaoke competition nights-youre sure to love Bareback Bar and Icehouse.

Jeep night and $1.00 tacos is great.

Always a great time to hang out with friends, catch a quick bite or escape for date night. My wife and I have been coming here for years and certainly enjoy the laid back, normalcy of this place. Staff is great!

Interesting place. The name is misleading to outsiders apparently (LOL). But its a cool bar, tons of tables, TVs, darts, shuffle board, pool tables, and cornhole. Very chill on weekdays, mostly regulars, big football games get pretty lively though. Id recommend checking it out!

I was there on a Saturday night, August 3 and the bartender Alex and the female bartender that was also at the bar to the right as you walk in gave me very poor service. A bartender should keep an eye on who to serve first and both bartenders served 4 people ahead of me. not too happy about that. We moved on. I am not sure I will return.

This place is awesome. I loved the open air concept. It had a dance floor, pool table & 2 dart machines. The beer was reasonably priced. Over a nice place great atmosphere.

We went for a retirement party on a rainy Saturday night. That didnt stop the fun, though! The staff was very pleasant and very quick with service. A little on the expensive side, though. I certainly can tell why theyre packed so often. Live music was also a plus. Check it out if youre in the neighborhood.

Since I met him it became my favorite place, where I can enjoy a pleasant moment with my group of friends enjoying their good music and my favorite sports. Simply the best.

Atmosphere was great, they know how to mix a drink pretty well, and there is no shortage of parking, theres more parking spaces than there is space to accommodate people.

Came to watch the Astros game because of the great atmosphere but cant find seats because they are all reserved for 7:00pm. Mind you its 7:15pm now and the manger wont allow us to sit here for another hour minimum. This is a first for me, where you turn away customers at your bar for some that may show up later.

You have to try this hometown restaurant. These guys take BBQ very serious. So yes the flavor is good. The area is nice. Plenty of space to eat. Inside and out.

Much better than last experience -Improved since last reviewNot sure what Im missing...1- thought it was a country western/ ice house.Not so much it seems.2- staff seems overwhelmed- refused to answer questions on the phone.3- no kitchen times noted anywhere. Took a chance and drove up here- no food.4.- 4 bucks for a domestic beer.5- No band as advertised.What a shame used to be a cool place to hangout with friends.

Has a great karaoke setup and the people who run this work very hard yo make you sound decent even if you cannot sing well.. one of tge best speaker setups I have ever enjoyed. Onlybdownfall is the do not have a single book for you to choose artist or songs. You have to ask over and over and over until they have something you requested. A bit pricey on even beer but fun atmosphere makes it worth while. Lots of free games to play while there ya just gotta go and check them out! I only saw 1 pool table near the bars so am not sure if that is the only one or not since I was singing and not shooting. Had a good time and look forward to coming back.

Fun place, watch out where you park or your car will be broken into. Had a few friends vehicles broken into when parked on the side instead of in front as there is lack of lighting.

Pretty good watering hole. Relaxed atmosphere. They are kind of ridiculous about the hats on backwards rule. I literally had someone take my hat off and stick it on my head backwards for like a second as a joke. The security guard asked me to turn my hat around or leave.... I was caught completely off guard. Its fun watching the karaoke and the DJ is usually pretty good.

Great place with a big open space. Bareback Bar & Icehouse has pool, cheap drinks, karaoke, and a good size dance hall. A very nice place to hit up after a long day of work.

3 dislikes: 1 stall bathroom with no ventilation very hot, other bathrooms Are outside. Also a bit pricey, oh and owner does not like his employees to speak spanish not even to customers.

I have been coming to Bareback for more than 20 years and its probably one of the best neighborhood bars around. They always have great bands, the crowd is diversified, and its a very laid back atmosphere yet still clean and trendy. With the variety of games they offer (shuffleboard, pool, cornhole, darts, volleyball), it is great for competitive customers who like to do more than just drink, socialize or listen to music and they have several big screen TVs for the sports enthusiasts. They also host tons of benefits for all kinds of causes, including veterans, first responders, and children, which is another reason they keep my business. It has grown and improved exponentially since Dan took over so kudos for that too.

Im a regular at Bareback. Weeknights are great for chill hangout out get with your buddies for a drink. Weekends are fun and exciting, always good entertainment. Bareback hosts many charitable events, fundraisers,and plays an active role community support. During the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, Bareback fed hundreds of volunteers. Made a huge impact on the hundreds of people that came in from all parts of the country to assist Houston in our time of need. No other local bar did the same. The staff is very friendly and attentive, they always start a conversation with you. I enjoy the time that I spend at Bareback!

Was here for a fundraiser. The fact that they provide their location for fundraising on sunday gives them 4 stars from me. I appreciate their desire tonhelp the community. I would encourage everyone to patronize the business and in turn help your community.

I have been to several fundraisers here. They always have great live music, friendly people, a gorgeous staff, and beautiful smiles everywhere! 1st time I was there I felt like it was Almost Home lol. Not just a good time but they do good things for people

I like how open it is to the outside. Its spread out nicely so its easy to get out of overly crowded areas for some breathing room. Service is decent for the volume of guests. All my visits have been nice. Staff is great and the people are fun. Its in a decent area and have had no issues with my car being messed with in the parking lot. I would definitely recommended going here.

Cool barndominium style bar with a dance floor and plenty of games to play while you hang out. Prices are some of the most affordable in the area.

It was fun. I just wish it were smoke free. Thats the only reason its not 5 stars.

Ive visited this place 5 times in last 3 years.. Im just never comfortable being here, and after the tall wide security told me I needed to leave in 30 seconds before 2am, as other patrons was still drinking after 2am. He stared @ me entire time, guessing cause there was he liked started to speak to us or what? Just not a place where if youre non Caucasian should familiar yourself with!

Being from New Orleans and having a great pallet for crawfish, I finally found a spot that ranks up there. This bar has phenomenal food, crawfish, and most importantly staff. If there was a 6th Star, this place would have received it.

Very cool environment with a bunch of people. The drinks were reasonably priced, the staff was good at getting the food out quickly, and the music was actually not half bad.
