Must stop and see, you can get right up below the falls, if you walk through the water or they have logs laying down to try and balance on. Its was cool and refreshing for sure

Gorgeous site. We visited after a fresh fall snow and the scenery was great. Im sure it would have more water in the Spring. Only complaint is the crosswalk to a small viewing area...

Very beautiful! Super cold water .... Very comparable to lake superior. Id like to see these falls after a good rain and the water flowing over.

Went in the summer when it wasnt flowing as fast but still a great waterfall. There is an observation platform on the side of the road, but for the best views climb down the rocks and cross the narrow stream (careful - even in August it is freezing!!) and the falls are just a few yards further.

Beautiful drive! We loved all of the places to see scenic routes though this area. Grab a copy of Black Hills and Badlands magazine and explore this whole region. Soooo much contrast from area to area and each one with its own beauty.

Fun waterfall experience. After the climb down by the observation deck, cross the small river(natural log bridge available to those hoping to keep their feet dry) and a short trek up and youll find yourself at the base. My little crazies(9 & 11yo) had fun playing and swimming in the river as well.

Beautiful place. we took the dirt road asr the falls and said lets see where this goes, well it went back to Wyoming! It was a very long but enjoyable ride.

So gorgeous and definitely go beyond the lookout point. Lots of cool trails and you can get right up under the waterfall.

It is a nice place to stop. The waterfall is nice, but in August there is not a lot of water falling. I did see some mountain goats here as well.

Great place to take some pics and get yourfeet wetin the stream. Also you can get a good picture of the motorcycle.

Its such a pretty view. We saw a bride in here dress navigating the difficult trail for her perfect bridal picture! I couldnt believe it if I didnt see it.

This is RIGHT on the side of the highway. I thought wed have to hike a short distance to see it, but there is a viewing platform alongside the road. We did choose to hike down to the waters edge and cross the creek on 2-3 small trees across it -- it was a bit of a challenge to get across without getting your feet wet, so that was fun. Once at the waterfall, we took a steep rocky trail to the right up a ways ... it was challenging and fun -- rather loose rocks made the footing a bit precarious. The falls were pretty light in the dry month of August.

Nice quick stop to see these falls. Definitely take the couple minutes to cross the creek and see the falls up close. I wouldnt consider it a hike, though.

Easy stop right on the scenic byway in Spearfish Canyon with parking and a deck for viewing. The canyon is the real beauty on this road.

Its a sight to see and get away plus there is a trail that leads to the top of the mountain. Located in spearfish canyon along with many other trails. Come early to hike all day and bring a lunch. I definitely enjoyed my time out here . Also poor cell phone service so always keep a first aid kit on hand just in case

Most splendid in the Spring after heavy rains...but gorgeous year around. The frozen falls are breathtaking in winter. Easily viewable from road...but be sure to stop!

So pretty to see and free! The drive to it is scenic and its an easy stop with plenty of parking. A little crowded but most people are patient and wait to get their pictures and stand closer to the edge

Visit here when it rains. Located in the spearfish canyon, this is a refreshing ride for anyone too stressed. Stress just melts away. There is a small area right in front of the falls where you can take photographs, read about the flora and fauna in the area. Thats about it. Nothing more here. The attraction is road till here and beyond.

Super dope. Walk up it a little bit, and hug the waterfall, I daresay it is a spiritual experience.

The Bridal Veil Falls is a great and beautiful waterfall. Because this place is located near Spearfish Canyon, it is a nice drive to it! There arent any bathrooms because it is in the middle of a scenic drive. Nonetheless, it is a wonderful night to see. Personally, I love recording waterfalls, especially in slow motion. There is always something so peaceful and majestic about them. If you love peaceful things and like to watch waterfalls, this is definitely a waterfall you definitely want to see. I would definitely go again if I am ever anywhere near Spearfish.

Nice falls right next to the road. Worth stopping to take a look. It is worth your time to stop at Roughlock Falls down the road. I think it is the best of the three.
