Very enjoyable short hike. Lots of different Trails going in lots of different directions. We didnt see any but I knew from before as well as from warnings from other hikers the area has an abundant amount of rattlesnakes. But thats okay, be on the lookout leave them alone and theyll leave you alone. It was a very enjoyable hike

Lookout Mountain is great for hiking or mountain biking. There are endless combinations of trails with different skill levels, and it is easy to bring small kids on the lower parts, or change routes to the higher elevations.

My son and I mountain biked this trail and had a blast. The trail splits off in several directions so it kept us busy all day. Beautiful views of spearfish and yet your able to enjoy nature. Hiking, biking and horse riding makes this close and easily accessible for many different needs!

Fun trail with just enough mildly steep spots to make it a decent workout. The views are truly beautiful.

Great single track trail system. Easy trail, intermediate trails, and difficult trail. Ill be riding it more often now that Ive ridden it. I want to try more of the trials. See you up there.

The trail is a great way to see Spearfish. In all, you have a nice trail through Lookout with nice little offshoots to get a different perspective. Be sure to use the parking lot by the church or you may get ticketed by the on ramp of the interstate.

The art in the tunnel is beautiful! I really think everyone seeing this should check out the tunnel, and possibly go for a hike!

About 2 miles up to the big white H, seen a snake on the way down. Glad we had lots of water with us, nice hike.

So this trail system is kinda confusing compared to all the maps I saw but other then that its fun

Gnarly single track, very challenging when you turn to the right--which we did. AFTER the fact, our friends told us go left super pretty!
