Best time I have had in so long! Thank you, Spartanburg for keeping Cleveland Park alive and so very BEAUTIFUL!! People were out enjoying the lovely fall evening. Thank you for staying open until 7pm. How beautiful was the dusk settling on the lit park. The ducks on the lake, people still enjoying their lives and their loves during this pandemic was precious. The beauty and cleanliness of the grounds were breathtaking. Definitely will make a point to walk there every chance I get.

I took my grandson to try out his new fishing gear. Unfortunately didnt catch anything but itCleveland Park is a great place to enjoy the peace and serenity it provides in the midst of all that is going on.

My boys love this park. The playground is nice and big. They have safe walking trails and a huge grassy area for relaxing and Social Distancing.

Nice place to have a meeting. We met downstairs. Good rate. Tables and chairs are already set up. Clean bathrooms. Easy parking and walk in. Plus you get a nice view of the pond and ducks. If youre looking for an alternative for a place to hold meetings check it out.

Great place for the family, especially for inner-city kids! There are different venues that family members find useful--picnic areas, cookout spaces, the pond, etc. Check it out!

One of the most beautiful parks you will find, well maintained, and taken care of and back from the road. They have both a large playground and a small one for toddlers and babies.The one down side is that the material that is surrounding the playground can get very hot especially in the summer and the sun comes down right on it. Make sure to use sun screen and be careful about allowing your children to slide down the slides.

We have been going to the Cleveland Park since I was a kid. Now we enjoy taking out great nieces there. One thing I really like about the park is that there is a shaded area for parents to sit at while the kids play. Its also a perfect place for a family picnic or with friends.

We love it. Always have a great time. Very glad we have it. Always meet a lot of nice familys.

I loved walking around with my children. We enjoy studying about nature and this was a fun place to go. I love the trail under the bridge. It was a very enjoyable day. I do wish they had more shaded seating.

I found it rather pleasant, quite, well maintained, except the rest rooms wasnt up to par.expected since its a public park.Still very much a recommended source for outdoors.

Its a lovely park but I wish the pond was better maintained

Great place to take the kids. Park is split into a big kids and little kids area. Has trails to walk on around the park, and around the lake. You can rent the booths for parties. The geese and ducks are pretty tame and will not chase as far as I can tell. The equipment is in well maintained condition and there is plenty for the kids to do.

Great park need a guard rail up instead of a chain at the pond a child could fall in the water very easy

I drive from Charlotte once a month just to walk and take in the beauty of this awesome park!

Very pretty park. Reminds me of old park I went to when I was a kid. Can walk different sections when I take my dogs making it easier to keep coming and not getting bored of same old scenery.

Nice large park, my family and I enjoyed walking around for several hours playing Pokemon Go. It was a fun day

Nice clean park lots for kids to play on, nice creek kids can put their feet into in the summer, beautiful lake and walking trail. Has picnic tables rentable gazebos or buildings a really nice beautiful spot for any occasion parties, reunions, weddings, or just letting the kids release some energy.

Nice walkway and playground. The trash and pollution and geese are kind of annoying.

Such a quaint relaxing place to walk with my husband and our Fur babies who are like kids to us.Because of the shaded paved paths thats easy to walk, We enjoy arriving around 9am when the temperature is perfect to take the babies for their morning walk while we drink our morning coffee all while enjoying the ️peaceful️ botanical serenity you get to experience around you!

I jave enjoyed stopping at the park to eat my lunch. The park is well kept. Peaceful. On a hot day there are lots if shady spots to enjoy your lunch.

The park is beautiful! I love taking walks here and enjoying the scenery. There are plenty of swings to sit on while enjoying a cup of coffee or reading a book.

Amazing park, but I actually wanted to say in hope someone saw this, I came on labor Day (Mon. 7th, 2020) and I saw a turtle and it had a hook or a earing stuck in its mouth, Im going to call but I want this here too

Beautiful family friendly park with many ducks and geese on the lake, and a great playground for small children. I enjoy walking my dogs here.The park opens at 7:00 AM. Closing times are posted at the entrance.

There are a lot of options for all ages; the park is well landscaped and recently (2015) renovated - see my photo during the renovation. Playgrounds are frequently active and a fun time on weekday afternoons and weekends.

Clean, easy to get to and nice playground. They have swings, slides, monkey bars, balnce beams, a sand pit, slides and more. Highly recommend for your little ones

Great amenities, people that works there are very nice and friendly. We use the Miliken Pavilion for our US Army Future Soldier Summer party and we had a blast. The only thing i can say is that I wish the grills at the Pavilion need sime love but other than that, we loved it. Lake that you can fish, pavement trail for bikes, picnic tables everywhere, and lots of natural shades. Thanks Cleveland Park!!! We will definitely do our next event there

Love this park! My husband and I live to come here and walk around the park several times to get in several miles. But my favorite thing to do is to feed cracked corn to the ducks and geese. (Bread is not good for them.)

My grandchildren had a great time playing at the playground here. They also enjoyed the ducks and geese, but the restrooms really needed to be cleaned.

Absolutely great for all the children to have a safer place to play.We never will forget the past tragedy so we must move on and make it a wonderful place to see children having a blast.

We attended our nieces Birthday party there today and I must say it was a wonderful place for children of all ages and adults as theyve got lots of activities to choose from. All in all we loved it

Great Park for the family and kids.

Its alright long as the kids are happy and having fun. I like the shaved ice they started selling during the hot days. Its also good exercise when you walk all the way around and under the bridge that takes you to the baseball field.

We had my son and daughter in laws wedding at the event center and it was terrific! The staff is so helpful and helped me make it perfect for them!

Awesome playground! But definitely needs some type of shade. During the summer, the slides, swings, etc are too hot for the children to play during the day.

Great playground with options for toddlers and big kids alike! Great spongy flooring for added safety and comfort. Lots of climbing options. There are some precarious points on the larger playground that would be of concern for parents with smaller children but perfect for exhausting the energy of the bigger kids. Wildlife and water only add to the parks attractiveness.

Kids love this park. It is just too hot on the slides and swings during the summer. It will almost burn you. It really needs to be shaded somehow. Also a splash pad would be a wonderful addition since they will not be planning to cover the playground.

Grounds were very nice, late fall westher, ducks and geese stopping for a rest as they need south for the winter.Only major issue, restrooms smelled terrible,were not clean and out of toilet paper.Whoever runs the maintenance crew should find out why the restrooms are in the condition they are, real black eye for a very nice park..

This is a really nice park. There is a zoo, several playgrounds, tennis courts, small baseball field, walking trails, a dog park, a river, beach volleyball, etc.! Great area to take pictures as well. I would love to do a photoshoot on the bridges. It’s such a pretty area to spend time in and I’m glad to see it being used and being renovated often.

Just a fantastic park run by the city. If you havent been there, take your kids and enjoy some outdoor fun. Grills, pavilions, huge playground, pond, well shaded.

I had my daughters 1st birthday pictures taken here and it was the perfect back drop. The children’s play area is super nice. I really enjoy taking my daughter on long walks throughout the park. She loves all the ducks!

Beautiful place to visit. Makes you forget youre in the middle of Spartanburg. Quite and peaceful. Alot of employees were seen moving around the property. Which means they care about your safety. And thats appreciated. Lots of room and different areas to spend time. Taking pictures was a breeze every place was special and beautiful!.Loved it

We love Cleveland park! The toddler area is incredible and our daughter loved every part of it! She thoroughly enjoyed it.

I go here all the time to walk around the duck park with my dog go fishing in the pond and when everything goes smooth the kids and I go to the playground and they have a great time

Love it here! Its always clean and beautiful. Looking at the lake is stress relief. My daughter loves looking at the ducks/geese playing in the lake. Go back every chance I get.
