We came for the Spooktacular Movie Event and it was super fun! The Ampatheater was great place to host the movie and plenty of room to spread out! Everything was clean and felt safe the whole time

I have yet to attend an event at this venue that I haven’t enjoyed! The Park seems to suit every purpose, from egg hunts to concerts to kite festivals.When not used for an event or festival, the park has a wonderful splash pad that the city turns on in the summer months. It’s a great outdoor space!

Lovely Place ( First Baptist Church) will be having, ( Church-Services) in -( Barnett Park) All, Summer. (9-10am)

Had given five stars and reasons why but when I discovered all bathrooms are locked( and it says park open until 6 pm) I removed two stars. Maybe a sign stating no restrooms so people could adjust time in looking at beautiful architecture.

Came to Barnet Park for Red White and Boom and to watch the 4th of July fireworks. While the park is nice, leaving after the event took a VERY long time. Make sure to plan ahead and enjoy someof the fireworks pictues...

Great International Festivals! You must experience it! Great food, music, dance, and more for kids and adults.

Great music venue and when its not having a concert its a nice place to just sit. Fiance and I had a picnic supper here all by ourselves it was outstanding

I loved the vendors and foods from around the world during the International Festival. I learned a lot and truly enjoyed myself.

Barnett Park is great for outdoor events. There is not playground equipment there but i bring my grandkids to play in the water and they love it! I like walking there. There is a pavilion with picnic tables there and the restrooms are usually pretty clean. My favorite feature is the architecture that you see on the grounds while there.

It was the best Blues, event Ive visit this far.

We had a great time at the Pride festival this year, in Barnet Park.

Just didnt feel safe ... Not alot of parking. Every sense the shooting I just dont like to be here for extended periods of time.

Usually a pleasant experience in this field, nice amphitheatre. Did see some kids throw firecrackers into the crowd during the 4th celebration.

I didnt really dislike, just wasnt clean and you could smell strong urine odor coming from the bathroom while just sitting on the picnic tables

Never been but Ive heard good things...plus I like the water fountain for the kids

Came here for the international festival. Excellent booths to learn about other countries and an incredible selection of ethnic food to choose from.

I love coming here just to unwind and relax.. private sitting areas and I also enjoy the many activities they have/Offer..

This place isn’t a park until you can’t use the bathroom. It’s messed up.

Its an park for events... other than that, the trail is nice but you will see ; how should I put this... homeless individuals sleeping or going thru trash. I felt safe due to my partner being there only.

Beautiful park, we enjoyed the butterfly festival with lots of fun and free vendors plus the SPARTANBURG play truck was there with Ms Wanda and my children had a blast I did too!!!

Great place to go for a quick walk or to take the kids out to let them run around. Find myself playing frisbee here a couple times a year because of the wide open space and beautiful grass. The city hosts a few free events here each year, such as the international festival. Really adds to the community and really isnt used enough in my opinion.

Beautiful little green space to relax and read a book or play frisbee or walk around. There is not a ton of street parking but the Dunbar St parking garage is very close and is free on evenings and weekends. I would love to see more people enjoying this space!

International day was great! Whenever Im near downtown spartanburg Ill take a walk at Barnett park and I am very grateful for all the events they have there, most if not all are free

Great for picnics and concerts. Wide open space is great for frisby, jogging, walking and relaxing on picnic blankets or lawn chairs. It has a splash fountain for the children. There are several community events held here like concerts and kite flying. The parking is pretty accessible from the street. Nice place to have lunch as well.

Went here for a gay pride parade and had an amazing time!! Even though it was hot, I still had fun!

Ive been to Barnett Park for many activities and events. Overall its a nice place. The restrooms could be maintained a little better. I always feel there should be more than one set of restrooms.

Had a great time playing with my granddaughter in the splash pad this past weekend. We have visited many times. The park is often host to festivals and events. Were so lucky to have an outdoor space like this one in Spartanburg.

We come to Barnet Park for a diverse number of events. Today is Spartanburg Soaring. The park has a beautiful rolling hill leading down to an amphitheater stage. There are public restrooms, and beautiful statues and water fountain.

Well maintained, with a gorgeous amphitheater for shows. Located in a great area with plenty do do around it

Fantastic park to bring your puppy to for exercise. Or bring a blanket and picnic on a sunny afternoon. We also do Movies in the Park the 3rd Saturday of every month during the summer, May - August. Come out for this 100% FREE event, and well even give you popcorn and soft drinks!

They host great company well known stars are there all the time. Great singers and awesome acts. Always something going on there. And water sprinklers for the kids to cool off.

Nice park near downtown. Nice kid splash area, covered Hut and amphitheater. Grounds well kept and mostly gated. Not been but they do have performances at the theater.

Kite Day at Barnet Park was excellent! Kites and a lot of free games for the kids!

This is a nice place to hang out with the children. The Red White and Boom event is a lot of fun.

Well, it was raining and cold so it would probably not be fair to rate this park based on todays visit however was there to give Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless so in spite of a little discomfort, a blessing was shared

This place is pretty good to go. Theres a trail that you can walk on. Theres benches and picnic tables for you to sit down. Theres a water area where water comes out of spouts for the childer to enjoy during the warmer months.

Wasnt impressed with the BBQ and Ribs thing that we wasted $20 to go enjoy. Not alot of food Trucks and the band wasnt really doing anything. Waste of time and money.Only good thing I can say is that there was some lovely ladys out there.

The PRIDE 10th Anniversary is great bring the family and enjoy music food trucks and children jumpy house.

They had a great band and show of fireworks! Food was good as well, and very well organized.

Nice place for walking, jogging or bicycling. Children also can enjoy playing in the water fountain. Its also a great place for outdoor events.

Beautiful setting in downtown Spartanburg, lovely place for a stroll or conversation.
