Love this park. Great place for a hike. Nice area for kids to play. Beautiful for a wedding. We have also had our family pictures taken her three times.
Except for the subversive propaganda signage about distancing, that my tax dollars paid for for under duress, for whatever reason one may give.was nice of the people who donated it to us.is their name st patrick?I always wondered about that misnomer.
My husband, inlaws, and I took advantage of the gorgeous weather today. The colors of the trees made for some beautiful scenery during our walk. We liked that the park offered lots of different trails. will deffinitely go back.
This park has SO much to offer!! From the high quality playground to a multitude of serene docks/overlooks of the river and nearby ponds. Plenty of wooded hiking trails as well as plenty of open space to soak up the sun. Its an expansive enough park that, even if a lot of other people are there enjoying it, it still feels easy to find some quiet space of your own for a while.
I’ve played all over the county and this is still one of my favorite courses. Very challenging requiring precision and varied throwing techniques due to the forest. Several Ace opportunities with beautiful lies up to the basket. Plan to hit a tree or two no matter how good you are.
Beautiful. Ive been to many parks where you can walk trails to see wild life. Strange thing is I never really did. But, these trails you see it all around you immediately. Little toads, chipmunks, I even saw a deer. And he saw me just make sure to wear mosquito repellent. They are vicious. It was one of the most wonderful times Ive had
Family hike. Tons of trails, some easy and some with a little bit of incline. Shady, sun-dappled great place to spend time and walk. Other activities here too but not sure whats open since pandemic.
Wonderful for trails, outdoor activities, sledding in the winter, rental spaces for events, spring wild flowers, kids playground, canoe and kayak rentals for access to St.Joe River, tours, and special events. St. Pats has knowledge and friendly staff as well. You can spend hours here or just pitch a few trails, either way its gorgeous and full of wild life.
A great place to take your family of pets for a nice hike
Beautiful trails for hiking, great location, close to town, but still feels like being out in the country.
Nice well maintained trails. Very scenic along River. May see a couple of eagles or osprey
Beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding or just enjoying the grounds. Canoe trips are available and are a great way to take in the river sights.
Its small park Hiding behind the trees vary quite Have a couple Play grounds all together good place
If youre looking for a nice place to rent a cabin this is the last place you need to look!
Great trails and story hike for children. Well kept.
The playground and trails are great for children. Renting a canoe was also a lot of fun. This is a great park!
A great place to visit. This park has multiple areas to enjoy. My family has went here for several different activities including picnics, an outdoor show at the barn and hiking. There are open fields, a boat launch, hiking trails and several pavilions for picnics.
Best park in SB, hit the trails for a nice day out.
My niece got married there. And other than the hot weather everything was very nice
Great place to take a fishing charter trip!!

Great park for the family, with events and facilities for all ages.
Lovely park, and they have an excellent viewing area for bald eagles.
My favorite park. Has everything one could want from a park.
Was there for Brianne and Logans wedding very nice place to hold any functions.
If your looking for spring summer fall winter all seasons FUN doesnt matter this place is where you wanna go. You have many choices for activities sledding, hiking, trails, parks, volleyball, picnics, playground equipment, canoe rental, kite flying, dog walking, wildlife viewing, just lots of fun and outdoor activities to get away from electronics. The entry for out of state is cheap like 4 in county $5 out county. Ive even attended concert at this location that was great. If you havent visited and you live close by go soon. They also rent alot of the buildings on site. many of them for decent pricing definitely need checkout for fun family activity you can get a brochure. Were renting the cabin for a weekend in woods locally and easily access for family and friends to BBq and enjoy the outdoors this summer.
A large park running along the St.Joesph river that is partly in Indiana and Michigan. Lots of trails, playground for kids and a large barn for renting.
Looks fun Im just pouring the cement so Im not sure whats All out there.
Beautiful park, did a short trail along the river and it was gorgeous and calming. Cant wait to go back
Wonderful walking trails, lots of peaceful scenery.
Beautifully maintained trails with lovely views of the river.
Love the location and accessibility of the park. Walking the dog on leash, running the trails, or simply sitting on a the many benches speckled throughout to relax. Plenty to do and take it at St. Patricks Park. Dont miss out on the 9/11 Memorial on the east side of the park!
The forest was magnificent. Nature is intact, lakes and rivers rest people. In shortly, a peaceful holiday destination...
A very nice County Park thats well maintained and close to the Michigan State line and the St. Joseph River.
I love spending time with my family here! So much to do! Annual pass is pretty much free! Best purchase weve made all year! This is also how I trick my kids into walking miles!
Very nice park, well maintained and a variety of things to do.
Always clean - always safe- love this place
Great hiking trails that go by the Saint Joseph river. The trails are a little hilly, which I love. They go by the river and into the woods. Theres a cabin out there that you hike by. Its beautiful! You can even rent the cabin. Its a very relaxing, beautiful place. And getting to occasionally see a bald eagle is a huge plus! This is a beautiful place! There are clean bathroom facilities here too.
I ran the Running Wild 5k at St. Patricks Park this morning. It was my first time ever being at this park. It was gorgeous! The trail we ran was maintained perfectly and the rugged beauty of the woods and the family of deer that ran all around me took my mind off of the punishing humidity during the race. The scenery was amazing and the event was very well coordinated. I will be back soon to explore this park and I cant wait for next years 5k!
The gentlemen that runs the kayak rental is awesome, straight to the point here’s your boat have a great day! But in the most pleasant, let’s have some fun way. I had overstayed my 4 hour rental by a total of 6 plus hours and he was decent enough about it. Just making sure everything was ok I’m sure! But the park is awesome! And I’m about to go venture the hiking trails tomorrow morning!
I really enjoy being here last Sunday afternoon,. The scenery and the quietness of the place have a very relaxing effect on the visitor.
Beautiful place to walk or ride bikes well kept park and wonderful scenery
Awesome clean beautiful park.
St. Pats park is a great place to take the family or for a hike alone along the trails. I definitely recommend checking them out. They also offer winter activities!
One of the best spots in the area for disc golf or walking trails!
Beautiful park. Saw 2 Ospreys and a raccoon.
Ran into a fawn on one of the trails. Totally made my day!
We are so lucky to have this natural space to rejuvenate and relax. There are easily 2-3 hours of hiking trails that run along ridges and streams. I regularly encounter deer, hawks, and eagles in the early mornings and evenings. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms at the Visitor Center are always clean. They host events all throughout the year giving us the opportunity to collect with each other and the natural world.
Fun, refreshing air n sense of calmness
We love the trails here. There are trails to the north and the south that go along the Saint Joseph River. One of the prettiest places in the county in my opinion!
Beautiful trails right on the Saint Joe River. Plenty of fun for kids or fur babies.
Right on the edge of the Indiana/Michigan boarder, this gem sit on the St. Joseph river and has a lot of trails. Something to check out with the family.
My wife and I just had our wedding at the Red Barn. It was an amazing time! We had alot of people compliment how lovely the park was. Keep up the good work!
Always been one of our favorite ️ Parks! Love this Beautiful place we think of as a little slice of Heaven on Earth!
Always love this place.
Lovely park, but small. There are also other parks surrounding the area! Very pretty in season in spring and early summer!
Great park.
I love going here, it is a beautiful park. They have a nice cabin in the woods for rent as well. There is a huge barn and space for outside concerts. It is one of the areas larger park. They offer canoe rental and drive you down to the enterance point.
Stayed in the manion cabin for the weekend and loved every minute of it! Only down fall was I didnt opt for some extra days. Well worth the money and piece of mind. Definitely will be going back asap.
Very nice park and the kayak rental program they offer is awesome.
Its a neat little park with lots of trails.
Very nice, neat, cozy and familyfriendly!!
I was in the area on business I was looking for a place to take a walk when I found this park online. I could not have found a better place to go for a walk along the river and be secluded in the woods, it was very peaceful and quiet and very beautiful. It also looks like a very nice place for a family picnic, highly recommended.
Im sure this is a nice park but every time we go we are surely disappointed. The first time we went it was fine, nothing special. There were no maps or anything to tell visitors where you could hike/ski/tube. The trails that we did find were short and hard to navigate since there were no maps provided to visitors at the entrance. The second time it had snowed a few inches the previous night and the website says there is cross-country skiing available. We drove all the way out there, walked around the grounds for the main office and the whole time were followed by a large truck. As we got out to try and find where we could get any help a worker in the truck yelled as us and interrogated us as to why we were trying to find the main office. He continued to rudely ask us questions as we tried to explain we just wanted to find out where we could ski/tube/do any sort of other winter activity. They also never answer their phone so you can never know what is actually going on there unless you drive all the way out there and try to figure it out yourself. Even if you do this they will follow you around the park and interrogate your presence there. If I was giving ratings on the park itself, Id give a 5. But the 2 stars are for the poor experiences with the management of the park and the employees.

Great place to go when snow wont let you do anything. Very inexpensive too The kids loved inner tubing down the hill. Its a trek up, but the thrill lasts a good ride. Theres a small lodge with a fireplace to dry off wet gear and they sell hot chocolate and concessions to warm up again. Then head back out for more tubing. Its a great way to spend the day. And, the staff here was wonderful. It should be on your list of things to do in winter.
If not a county resident its $5 bucks 4 entry
Nice well maintained park. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.
We dont live close, but St. Pats we keep coming back to explore and enjoy, even when parking isnt free. There is a lot to see and the park is beautiful!

Great place to take a walk...be in nature. Great for taking pictures.
Nice park. But be warned. They lock the gate at 8:45pm. Youll need to call the county police to let you out.

Great in place for weddings
Great short hikes. It always feels kind of cool to be able to hike from one state to another. The opportunity to rent canoes and other water craft is also a plus.
Very pretty little park.
Always a beautiful experience!
Its peaceful
Great park with nature, trails, shelters, kayak, canoe, tubing, picnic, grill availabilities
Went to check out Saint Patricks Park for the first time. My husband and I are always looking for places to fish, and this park has lots of river access! It also has some very nice trails that I know we will enjoy once the weather is warmer. There are a lot of picnic shelters with grills, which would make it a nice place to visit this summer.
Had outing in one of their buildings. As beautiful as it is, theres not much to do there unless they are having a special outing.
Beautiful place to walk on a sunny spring day!
St. Patricks park has a beautiful barn-themed park for kids, and their pavilions are great for get-togethers. The one we used had bathrooms right around the back, and a nice green space for playing lawn games.
The grounds here are beautiful, the park itself is massive with tons of trails to explore if youre into hiking, I believe there is also canoe rental and a good sized sledding hill for winter trips. Were planning a wedding using the gazebo and big red barn, both of which are perfect for all kinds of events! The staff that weve spoken to is exceedingly friendly and helpful, as well as accommodating. All in all its a lovely park and a great place to get outside!
Great park. Excellent place to spend an afternoon in the woods or take the kids for a walk.
The park is beautiful and well maintained, I was just upset that I couldnt ride my bike on the trails after having biked all the way there haha
Very peaceful and the nice place for walks
Very nice and clean walking trail. Beautiful park.
Vast amount of trails cut through woods. Sure to be appreciated by nature and wildlife lovers!
