Visited LEGOLAND today and I am so pleased on how everything went.Unfortunately some things have changed due to COVID.They constantly were sanitizing and making sure everything was in place. All the employees are very friendly and helpful. But I want to applaud and give a huge thanks to Meaghan! Thank you so much for going above and beyond during our visit. Meaghan helped us get the tools we needed to build our racing cars and was constantly making sure we were ok and other guests around us.Thank you for the great experience and the rest of the staff! We will be back!

Worst experience! They made a two year old cry all the way home by not allowing enough time. You pay for a time slot thinking you have the whole two hours nope they kick you out in an hour. Nothing is open you have ask for everything and that’s a mission. You can’t go on any rides unless you find someone and that takes up half of your hour. Terrible don’t go save your money

This place is beyond shameful. Half the electronic appliances dont work, the videos at the entrance room are blurry and out of focus, and there is no air flow so its hard to breath. There are almost no employees to help. The creative workshop is literally just giving kids a small bag of Lego pieces, and seating them in front of a screen that tells them exactly how to connect them to each other, while a supervisor is watching over them, visibly bored and yawning. If I were Lego, I would revoke their license immediately. Its a shame that they use Legos distinguished brand, for a place with such poor management and of such low quality.-- Edit following the managers reply: LegoLands owners / managers have provided the same reply to every negative review here, saying how sorry they are. Thing is, I dont want their apologies. I was writing my review to reflect the way the place is being run right now, with signs of neglect all over. Words are cheap. Its easy to say youre sorry and move on. When I visit again and see that they have actually dealt with all the issues, I would love to revise my review. ---

Overall it was fun. We had kids ages 7, 11, and 14. Everyone enjoyed it. We went mid afternoon on 4th of July weekend and the crowd wasnt too bad. We hardly waited in lines. The 2 rides and virtual reality were fun. Lots of stations to build your own Lego creations. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because, it was really warm in there. The air conditioner was minimally working. We asked if it was broken and they said no, its always warm in there. It was cooler in the 4D movie theater. I wouldnt recommend going on a warm day.

There are a couple rides to enjoy, lots of LEGO building stations and activities, a huge jungle gym with more LEGO’s inside it, a snack bar with lots of seating, and a virtual reality ride that was amazing! It’s expensive ($5 per ticket separate from admission), but super worth it at least once! I bought the mid-priced admission tickets that came with a toy, and it was a tiny LEGO set. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is surprisingly clean and well ventilated even though it can be rather crowded in the weekends. The Boston Lego display is very cool and gives you ideas. We had a fun afternoon at the Legoland Discovery Centre. We knew before going that the centre is more of an exhibit with a decent size interactive area where the kids can play with Lego, and our kids (ages 6 and 4) were okay with that. We spent about two hours here which was plenty. The gift shop didn’t offer much in terms of variety, mostly Lego building kits—I would have loved to see more apparel and household items (like mugs, towels, etc.) similar to the gift shop at the Legoland Amusement Parks.

Legoland put significant resources to make what is amazing LEGO structures and more. There was a small movie theater and a amusement go around. I went with my son and his 2nd grade class for a school field trip and we all had a blast. Everyone that went with us had fun and enjoyed themselves including the teachers and parents who chaperoned. Theres all types of interesting and fun things to do and see here for all ages, not just for kids. They have a large room called Miniland which is full of intricate replicas of all different iconic Boston landmarks that are all made entirely out of Legos, some of which have buttons you can press making parts of the display come to life by moving, lighting up and more. They also have rides, which were a huge hit with the kids especially the interactive laser gun ride where you are on a mission to save the Princess by shooting all the bad guys and hitting targets along the way. Another favorite was the Lego race VR experience thats moving chairs make it feel like your really there. Theres so much fun stuff to do here no matter what your age theres something that will interest you from pressing pennies to building Lego creations to running, climbing and playing inside the Lego City Play Zone. Theres a small forecourt where you can sit and have lunch and a rather large gift shop that has almost every Lego item you can imagine. The facility as a whole is very clean and organized and the staff is great and always happy and willing to help with anything you may need. Its definitely worth visiting at least once. We just went a week ago for the first time and were already planning our next trip so that should say it all.

Something important to know. This is the Legoland discovery center not a Lego Land amusement park. There are only two rides that come with your ticket. The third ride is an additional five dollars per ride. This is the type of place you would spend half a day. And it’s geared towards kids 12 and under. My kids had a blast and loved every second of it. The ride operators were extremely friendly. The 4D 15 minute Lego movie was a lot of fun, but unfortunately the stuff that makes it 4D was not working. No wind, rain or snow. My wife of course was happy about that but the kids were not. There is free three hour parking in the shopping center area just west of the building. It’s where there are a bunch of stores like Bed Bath and beyond. In addition to that there is a parking garage west of where the Legoland is that has free three hour parking as well.

This place is almost so wonderful. It fills a great niche for areas that kids can run around and be creative indoors during the cold months and rainy days. The price is expensive for what it is but for local families a membership is pretty manageable. My review is so low because they make the space a sensory assault. They pipe in repetitive, jingly music at 3 times a healthy reasonable volume. One room that could be s great quiet building space has a strobing disco ball that makes me, as an adult without sensory difficulties, nauseous and dizzy. We all get so stressed out being around all of this that we can only stay for an hour or two at a time. From the spot Im sitting now in the main area I hear three different each too loud jingles battling each other. The Merlins Magic ride also needs a good greasing and squeaks loudly. That also means this space is basically completely off limits for kiddos with sensory issues. In todays world, with all the knowledge we have, I expect a company like Lego to do better than this. So many of their toys are beautifully designed to support kids development, for all kinds of kids. Legoland absolutely can and should do better.

This location is at the city and you cant expect free parking unless you find some spots near Assemble row. If you want to try free parking try getting tickets in the morning session. There are always paid parking which you can find easily.Your kids will enjoy here thats no doubt. There is an cafeteria inside this place. Free Movie theater in 4D. We had an awesome experience with the VR. You have to pay $5 for that if it is not included in your tickets but its worth the price. You can pay personal parties here like birthday party, meetings etc., upon reservation. There is an Lego store in this place and your kids will love it.I would say that you gets tickets when there is some discount or promotions happening and make sure you dont try to visit when it is very crowded as you will lose so much of time and you wont feel like playing in the crowd.I would not say its a waste of time or not worth it but you can visit and a good place to be indoor.

We went for my sons 4th birthday(not a party). We picked up our tickets after ordering online (very reasonably priced if not buying day of). There are 2 sections that you have to watch/activity your way out of. Was difficult for my son to focus at first but when the activity part came up it got easier(picture with the large screens). You then enter into the master builder display, which was very cool and interactive. My phone died shortly afterwards so very limited pics of play area. There is a small cafe with good salads, small(personal size) cheese pizza, the sandwiches werent that good. Play area is very large with lots of different activity centers. Can build/race your own race car, karaoke setup within the girl lego area(hate calling it that but cant remember the name of that line). 2 rooms off to the side with instructed building and a no-shoes climbing area. 4D movie every 15 minutes (warning you get rained on) and a ninja test thingy where you have to work your way around lasers in a narrow room(kids loved it and 4 levels). You exit into the gift shop which was not way overpriced. Found it to be comparable to the stores i go to. Ticket includes a 10% coupon as well.Lost a star for 3 reasons. 1- the backgroundmusic was so loud that you had to holler even if the person was next to you. You have a buiding with kids running around and it was ridiculously warm in there(multiple parents i spoke with said the same thing) and a lot of the touch screens were so worn out that you had to practically punch the screen to get it to sense you.

The tickets can seem expensive without a Groupon but its totally worth it. Its indoor and two floors filled with things kids can enjoy. The 2nd floor has a digital tour of the Lego manufacturing process with a short interactive session and has a ride that takes about 1min. Outside that there is a area showing all the landmarks of Boston made out of Legos. Post that is a big play area with couple of rides, a 4-d theater and play pen and most importantly a tonn of Legos. For adults accompanying the kids there is a place to get a bite to eat and coffee!Warning: Im sure the place very regularly cleans up the Lego pieces, but kids throw the Lego pieces around, stomp on them, drool on them and put them in their mouth. I cant remember exactly, but I think garage parking is free for the first three hours, $2 for four hours, and $15 for five hours. Metered street parking is available for three hours for $2. Parking at the strip mall is for the stores only, park at your own risk (signs for towing). We purchased the discounted tickets online for visiting after 3pm. They are normally $15 but since it was spring break it was around $17. Visiting at 3pm worked out nicely because it wasnt very crowded. We were able to look at the Lego displays while taking our time instead of being rushed by a long line behind us. We knew the place was going to be small with limited activities but we were fine with that, so we werent too surprised when we explored the whole center pretty quickly. Some might describe the discovery center as a glorified play area and werent happy with it. I didnt mind so much because I didnt have high expectations for the place. My 4 y.o. had fun building and playing. I do wish there was little more for my 10 y.o. to do. Although, to be honest, not sure exactly what that would be. I thought as a discovery center there would be some stations of how it was made or how to build xyz. There is a master builder room where the kids learn how to build something, but I think they were at designated times and only accomodate 15 or so kids. There is the really neat Lego Factory Tour when you first get on the second floor though. There is a cafe that sells Starbucks if you need to stay sane The cafe also has sandwiches and snacks but they are a little pricey. Keep in mind though there are a ton of places to eat around Assembly Row if you want more than just cafe food. We probably spent about three hours here and had a good time. There is an activity lanyard that you can purchase for $5 in which the kids search for embossing stamps in each area. If they find them all they receive a badge from the Lego store to put on the laynard. I was told this was a fairly new activity because there were probably two stamps missing. But the kids were still able to receive their badges. The rest of the activities in the pack can be done at home.

My son had a blast! He especially loved the shooting ride. We had fun competing in the challenge with the manager Chris. The models of Boston were amazing too. We will definitely return!

Great place to take a child and let them explore their creativity. The price is affordable and there is no time restraints.

Nice place for 5-10 year old kids to play, create, and discover. It is a bit pricey, though there are coupons and an online discount. For parking nearby, I recommend the parking structure on the same block, its pretty reasonable and very near.

Great place if you are looking for something fun to do with the kiddo for a couple hours. Place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Only bad thing is this place gets busy and crowded.

Wow, I must have really been rushed, to just leave a stars review. Let me expound, I LOVE this place, I wish I had had one growing up (tbh I revert to my 10 yr old self each time I walk in the door.) The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful, even if youre just a big kid and dont actually have a kid with you. Of note, last time I came, just as I was going in, I was stopped at the door. Turns out a child got separated from their parents and no one was allowed in or out til it was resolved. I dont know if this is a normal policy in stores, but I think its kind of awesome. Kudos to a staff and company that cares.
