Nice displays and exhibits. Fair amount of walking and mostly self guided. The HO/O scale layout is excellent

Great museum to tour. Rides were enjoyable, staff were very informative, and the history that has been preserved and restored was neat to see.

Fun couple hours spent here. If you like history or trains this place is a must. The volunteers do an awesome job and go out of their way to tell you the story of the place.

Great museum! They are always adding or updating. A lot to see - trains, train cars, the Roundhouse is really cool! If you like model railroading, they have a huge running display in one building. I always like videos & they have some of those, too, telling about the site.This would be a great place for a family reunion, wedding reception, or company party.

Excellent seasonal programs. Everyone seems to be having fun, great atmosphere.

It was a very interesting museum that had a lot of information on the local railroading history in Sioux City.

Danny was the tour guide and he was great!! He told us alot of facts and was great with the group of toddlers I was with.

Our tour guide, Danny, was very informative, knowledgeable, and kind. I learned a lot about the Milwaukee Road, and other train related history I wasnt aware of before.

Great place to bring the kids. Ultra friendly staff give you a short train ride and show you around. Walk into real rail cars and stand right next to the biggest restored steam locomotive you will ever see. Bring a picnic and eat at the tables. Beautiful grounds where the kids can run around and be kids. Truly amazing model railway building with running trains. Wold be 5 stars if there was more to see, but even so its very impressive.

Lots of cool exhibits and things to learn we also had a building there for our wedding the staff is super friendly and accommodating the building was perfect

The Museum is great and a nice piece of local history. We always make time to stop in and see whats new and go over what they already had. Very interesting and fun for all the family now with the small scale train and motorcars that they now have. Plus it,s always a good time to drop in and see Rocky at Famous Dave,s in Sioux City.

It was ok if you like trains. Something for the grandson to do.

Great place to take kids to learn/ see the history of the Iconic Railroad. Adults, we can go there to check out the HUGE train set!

The railroad museum is a work in progress staffed by volunteers that truly love trains. We visit at least once a year and are amazed by the progress of fixing the place up and using it as an educational tool for people who want to learn about a time that has passed.

It was such a quiet place when we visited but the employees or docents were so kind and informative. My boys had a blast going through the old train cars and ringing the bell!

It has a good locomotive a green steamer nicknamed iron horse

Lost my wallet while visiting this museum the grounds crew went out of their way to help me search for it and we found it! Also a well-kept nice place with an upcoming edition of a Miniature railroad track and train for the kids

If you have a love of trains, this place is great.

Wish it was a little cheaper. Id go more often but we love it every time we go.
