Public parks have always been a place of importance in my experience.This one has the basics. I used the restrooms and ramada with others for a social event.The maintenance was acceptable.

Lively Park, great for community activities, Thursday Farmers Market meets here, good central location with plenty of parking and always easy to get to.

Place needs to be renovated, tons of land all around from this park to the ball park and all behind the local Walmart. The city should invest and add a man made lake and running path, and all sorts of fun stuff for kids and adults and their pets. Seriously, its not even worth stopping by. But the farmers market on Thursdays are nice, thats about it.

Nice place and lights but there wasnt much to see and it took forever to get to the end. They do have very nice cookies.

Nice big park with a playground. Always have family friendly events. Today was a jazz concert. Was very nice on this warm summer Thursday.

We stopped on Veterans Day 2020 to relax and enjoy the day. This park is beautiful and spacious with a lot of ammenities to boot!

In the enter of Sierra Vista this park is filled with great fall color foliage currently. Very enjoyable walk.

Great park, kept nice and clean. Generally safe but no fencing and lots of roads near by, so for kiddos who like to run away, watch out. The floors are super soft with lots of sensory input :)

The state park is sufficient but there is alot of room to make it better. Would love to see more police due to the amount of kids openly smoking week in the dark hours. Great park for all types of events.

Its beautiful and peaceful here, especially during the week. The city does a great job of maintaining this park. Also, Im able to take my dog.

Because of the coronavirus this is a great place to get together with your friends while keeping your distance from each other. You can bring your lunch and have a great conversation.

I know its arizona, but some green grass would be nice to sit on.

Nice little park but they need to get our community events back on schedule. This town looks forward to these things.

Its a lovely park wether you just want to walk or take you dog for some fun and exercise or to spend some time with your children or grand children.

A bigger version of gods masterpiece. Also the biggest park in sierra vista! Great spot for Pokemon go!! Lots of towers and balls that fall like showers from heavenly!!

This is a beautiful park and with the situation were in at the present time, it was so nice to see people walking their dogs, kids out running, men & women sitting down with groups of friends & chatting at a distance of course, it gave me a since of hope that we will all get through this & be able to go back to a normal life !! Im really looking forward to going back to the park with my friends & sitting in our lawn chairs & talking at a distance of course, if you need to get out of the house for a while I suggest that you go visit the park !!!!

Clean with sun and shade and pet friendly. It is also a great host to many local venues like the Farmers Market and holiday celebrations.

Nice, wide open spaces with shade. This is a pretty park.

This is a nice little diddy when youre in town to stop at and rest your old bones for a minute. It has batgroom accommodations and water fountains to drink from. Pubic tables to sit down on. Grills for barbecuing. Ramada tops over the pinic tables in some areas. The State Fair comes once or twice a year. The carnival ad well I think.

Big park with lots of space, multiple playgrounds for the kids, and recreational activities in the large open spaces. There is a skate park as well.

Great except for the dogs with owes off leashes I walk 4 times a week not cool constantly watching for dogs. Even at the dog park I had to watch out Im a people person jus sayin. To all the animal lovers out there remember we dont all share the same gifts you do so please follow the park rules. Thank you.

Oh my goodness. We took my nephew to the Christmas tree lighting here. There were lots of happy children running everywhere. They have the best playground equipment and good lighting for evening. I recommend this place for any family who enjoys Free entertainment for kids.

We stumbled into a Farmers Market and ended up having a great experience. Its every Thursday 10 am to 2 pm.

The park is great. The bathrooms however, need some serious help. There was only one open and theyre filthy. I understand its a public bathroom, but theres no soap, or anything. Guess its better than a portapotty

Great place to take your kids to play. Big area to workout.

Large....shade, picnic tables. The handicap entrances are not always open which meant I had to go an extra block to get onto one of the shady, grassy areas. Also had to travel on the street.

Great place for a gathering! Only lost one star due to the drinking fountains never seem to work.

I enjoy the events they have here. Lots of open space to take a moment to breath and clear your head. Good Pokemon Go spot. Also has areas to charge electronics.

Nice spacious park, lots of green grass and big shade trees. Two playgrounds and a skate park.

The new lighting of the trees festival was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast ice skating and Santa with cookies and hot coco. Whats not to love. The newly painted Santas are so beautiful. Must see up all season.

The Class of 74had its last day reunion at the venue here it was windy but awesome to have & see ole friends

A few irresponsible pet owners who wont use leashes- but otherwise a really nice place.

Such a fun park, great place to have a small birthday party, go for a walk, and take the kids to play. They have great equipment for the playground and on Thursdays they host the local farmers market and it always a good experience.

Very clean Park great playground for kids lots of parking including handicap parking, clean bathroom facilities and picnic tables. Waking trails and skate boarding areas. A building with swimming facilities for a fee. Great family Park.

A beautiful place, lots of spots to sit

Great place to meet friends. A lot of room for parties and events. Concerts, car shows, art in the park, Octoberfest and other events are fun for the whole family. Thursdays farmers market is fun too.

Well maintained family place to go

This is a great park in a great town. Sierra Vista has several great events at the Veterans park throughout the year. This place and park is one of the best family towns near the southern border. Also, during the summer you have the Cove water park, the kids love it.

Farmers Market venue weekly on Thursday. Car shows and movie night for children are held at this nice, clean centrally located public park in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Our knitting group cant meet at the community center because of Covid,, so we meet at a shady spot in the park to have lunch & knit.

Updated main playground and two other smaller playgrounds available. They are a blast for my niece. Skate park available and lots of fun fairs are planned here throughout the year. Nice town park.

A nice park thats always being used to host some sort of event. It has a lighted skate park to give people a safe place to skate, skateboard, and ride scooters.

Amazing park! Came for the Halloween Festival and it was so much fun! The park was clean and well lit. Definitely will be back to this park!

Veterans Memorial Park is a great place to be in Sierra Vista. Its where the majority of the fun or quality events are located when they appear, where the skate park is (If thats your cup of tea. Contrary to popular belief, the whole violence and gang association with the skate park died down to nothingness years ago, so it shouldnt be a hassle), where the Cove is located (a really great facility with an indoor pool), and many more sights. It has history in Sierra Vista and its a great place for people of all ages. Its definitely one of the places Ill always remember throughout my life, even if I dont live here anymore.

Very family friendly. Big grass area. They have volleyball sandy area. You can play corn hole and horseshoe, they have an area just for that. I thought that was really nice. They have an indoor pool place as well which is awsome in the summer since I dont have a pool in my backyard.

Went for the wine and spirits festival. Were from out of town. Surprised more people and vendors werent present. We enjoyed it. Will go again. Wine was tasty but very small samples for a $25 set of tickets. Beer was excellent. Band sounded great but might have whooped up the crowd a bit more. Nice event!

One of the larger parks in town. Maintained really well. A lot of the playground equipment is new. This park is where most of the towns festivals and events are held.

There are always awesome events happening here, which is surprising for a relatively small town. My only complaint is that there is a presence of people that are obviously under the influence of hard narcotics here. Increased police presence could mitigate this.

Beautiful park, easily accessible for wheelchairs, plenty of playgounds, and space so even on a busy weekend you can be somewhat on your own.

This park maintains huge grassy lawn perfect for kite flying and picnicing. Its great for playing catch and kids birthday parties and friendly touch football. There are a lot of trees and gazebos for shade. It has an ampitheater, community pool, skate park, softball feilds and plenty of restrooms.

It is a spacious park, well maintained though restrooms are to far apart.Its terrain is simular to that of a golf course, and this is a good thing. It has a playgraound, and is dog friendly.I visited there with my father... A veteran of the United States Army.

Its great for kids and parties, lots of room. I suggest bringing your own entertainment also, like a radio and soccer ball. It is close to The Cove and the snack shack, which is open a lot lately.

Nice swimming facility. Very safe. Plenty of parking. Clean slate park. Well kept place to honor the Nations Vets!

Farmers Market every Thursday...Lots of fascinating items for sale......produce, crafts, and lunch vendors.

The farmers market was incredible! They have a homemade lasagna booth, a raw juice booth, fruits and vegetables along with a beef jerky booth! I wish my farmers market in Michigan was this awesome!!
