Loved this hike! Only my second time hiking, and it was a bit more challenging and steeper, but you dont realize how high youve hiked until you get there! Wonderful morning!
Beautiful vistas! Not made for those who like to take the easy route - took me 1.5 hours to do about 2 miles, but thats partially because I went through Chimney Pass between the mountains, which is fairly difficult for someone who isnt used to hiking much. Paths are narrow in many places and as a hiker you have to watch for mountain bikers - seems thats what the trail is mostly for.
Upper chimney rock loop + little sugarloaf steep summit loop. Hiking poles help
Just gorgeous red rocks and blue sky.
Easy fun hike, uneven trail so just watch your step but I would say this hike could be done by a determined beginner or moderate hiker!
Spectacular views and great trails !
Amazing views, easy hike and a lot of wildlife
Enjoyable hike!
Beautiful and fairly easy
Beautiful easy hike
Went for the climbing but was pretty underwhelmed
Amazing hike. Strenuous and dangerous at parts. However the view are unmatched
If you are looking for amazing views or taking photos, this is not a Trail for that. Yo can hike, do bike ride, walk your dog it is an easy Road.
A bit too sunny for todays weather
Beautiful trail.
Awsome and CLEAN Trail
I rate this as moderate . There are many trials that spin off of this one so be careful to stay on the trail. Great views all around Chimney Rock
Great vortex spot
Nice, quiet trailhead, only a few cars in the parking lot. If you want to get away from the Sedona crowds, go here.
Great trail
We took the Chimney Rock Loop. Nice flat way to navigate beginners tail. To bad power lines are in the way if some great scenic pictures.
Amazing hike. We hiked it in 2 ft of snow if you can believe it! Rare large snowstorm for Sedona
The trail is fairly easy, but the views are limited because it isnt high up.
Absolutely beautiful....
Go early as it gets bust and parking is an issue
Free parking, great spot to start off on a hike. Maps there showing the various trails.
Easy to access trail from a few different directions. You can do just a loop or extend your hiking for a longer experience. The trail goes up and down but is not too difficult. I would say moderate. Is decent even for those who are not regular hikers. A hiking stick is helpful but not required. Really beautiful scenery in all directions. No facilities along trail or in parking lot so go to restroom, rake your water and hat at minimum.
Great Red Rock scenery!
I really like this trail. Easy to do and gave a great view of Sedona. Was able to do it in light rain.
Natures Beauty!
Beautiful view
My cat, Sir Kitty, loves this trail for its boulders.
Enchanting. Amazing.
Good trailhead. You can just walk a short way and sit on a bench. If you walk up hill to the northwest, there is a trail that wraps around Chimney Rock and after a mile returns you to the parking area.
We walked the 2 mile trail. Great views
Amazing just like the rest
I got all the way to the top!
Great trail, mild difficulty
Amazing
Just epic
Great
Awesome 2.5 hour trail
