This place has beautiful views but the road to them has definitely gotten rocky over the past few years. It can be a challenging drive for a novice driver. Thankfully everyone in this road was friendly and courteous. The kids had a lot of fun.

Beautiful views but DO NOT GO ON THERE WITHOUT AN OFFROAD CAR we got in on the I-17 side and got stuck just after halfway. They eventually had to tow us out because the rocks wouldve done too much damahe to our chevvy Impala. Its impossible to take the entire road without an offroader. Youre better off taking one of the tours if want to see the views. It is gorgeous up there.

The road is quite rough, if you have a vehicle that can handle it it is worth the drive.

Love driving the trail here especially going up to Schnebly Vista! The scenery is absolutely breath taken

Love this place for some 4x4. Beware of the pink jeeps and other tour groups. Great views and nice places to camp once you get to higher elevation. Make sure that you look for signs to camp in specific areas... off the 17 its pretty much open to camp up top. LEAVE NO TRACE and enjoy.
