Drove almost 5 Hours to come hike this Trail. It was easy to find, i was able to park right in front of a park which was close to the trail. The hike up was a little intense due to the snow/ice on trail. We managed to make up to the top along with our Chihuahua. The views from top are beautiful. The trail was also muddy but that was cause some areas already had melting snow but some areas didn’t get that much sun so they were icy. Just make sure you bring a lot of water and some snacks. So hiking poles are helpful but not a must, we found some sticks and they helped especially with some areas being icy. All around it took us almost 6 hours to hike it up and down.

Scenic hike to the 2 summits of Wilson mountain and much more shade vs the route from Midgley bridge. Small parking lot off the highway. I recommend bring a gallon of water minimum per person and stretch out, its a 10 mile round trip up!

My absolute favorite trail in Sedona. It is a tough hike but the views are well worth the multiple switchbacks.

Not busy. A beautiful climb with beautiful views. Im pretty out of shape and not used to elevation, and I was able to go 2 miles. Less busy than West Fork.

We went in February, layer up and bring a jacket! It gets cold in the shade but warms up as the sun comes up! Recommend starting early before the big groups of tourists start coming out !

Its beautiful with lots of history. If you have a Forest Service senior pass, its one of the four places the Forest Service wont take. Its still worth the $11 to park.

This is a long hike. The trail is quite tough, very rocky, but well-shaded. I would suggest to start early. The view from the top is simply amazing. It definitely pays you back. Bring plenty of water!
