Ive known Lou since the late 1980s when he had a tiny gallery uptown on 89A. I used to stop in every month to see what new work he was exhibiting. I love photography and Lou is well-known as one of the living great legends in Black & White photography. His photography is found in fine art collections world-wide and his books, like A Last Look, that highlights Nevada ghost towns, had a forward by Ansel Adams stating that Lou was one of the best in the trade. Super gallery of inspiring landscapes, sculptures and copper figures. Spend some time and get a great photography lesson. I learned more about my camera and composition after spending 3 hours with Lou than I knew from 50 years of pointing and shooting with my 35 mm.
I bought a beautiful copper piece by Greg Gowen to be placed on a river rock fireplace. I have been looking for something to highlight the fireplace for years. I am very pleased with the art and DeSerio was very professional in getting it shipped to me.
Beautiful artwork, but be ready to open your wallet....wide open.
