It is really unfortunate that I cannot give this place a five star review, because the artworks are priced afforably and the work is beautiful. I am making this post more in the hopes that the shop owner will take it into consideration for interactions with future customers: My boyfriend and I came in to holiday shop. We bought two things. As we were leaving we said Happy holidays, and the shop keeper responded with an aggressive and sarcastic Merry Christmas. I do not mind when people say Merry Christmas to me this time of year. What I do mind is when people aggressively shut me down when I am trying to be inclusive. Not everyone who comes into your shop is going to be a Christian, and youre alienating potential customers by being aggressive about it. Fyi, the shopkeeper next door said Merry Christmas with kindness, and we said it back to him, because he was wishing it genuinely, and not being rude. Learn how to be inclusive, or at a minumum how not to be rude when wishing someone what is supposed to be a happy holiday blessing. Intention is everything.
I love shopping at Eisenart in Tlaqapaque! My husband I have lived in Chandler, AZ for 20 years. Whenever we go to Sedona, Eisenart is at the top of our list to see what new, fun, interesting and different merchandise they have. Our friends shop there as well. We both have a similar yard art Sedona colored stand with round colorful circles in our yards from here. Every time I look at it, it takes me back to the peacefulness and tranquility of Tlaqapaque. Please look for this really awesome shop on your next trip to Sedona.
One of our favorite places to shop!
