Always love coming here. Great spot to walk with beautiful views. Lots of room so you can safely social distance. Everyone was wearing masks which was appreciated.
This is a favorite beach known by locals to be pristine, quiet and beautiful. If your feeling adventurous you can walk a short ways to the Ferry and ride across the sound and back. A perfect lazy stroll, or a jog one afternoon with nature all around you. If your lucky you may spot an Orca or 2 during certain times of the year. You will be glad you made this a destination in Seattle.
A beautiful park with large space and a beautiful beach! You will fall in love with this place! One of the best parks in Seattle that I have visited so far!
Beautiful Park. Excellent Hike. Great views of the Puget Sound.
Walking through Lincoln Park, you can take a trail through the woods or continue down to the Sound. Whatever route you choose, you are bound to pick a nice route. You cant go wrong. Its a great place to walk your dog, go exercise, or just go for a leisurely stroll. The beauty of the Northwest is showcased throughout. Really, a great way to escape city life for a bit, and make your own trail.
Lincoln park is one of the larger parks in West Seattle with a little beach. It has dense, tall trees, a fairly sizable green swathe of grass. There are many picnic benches in the park both in the wooded area and by the beach. This place is a heaven! A great place to hang out with friends and family or go for solo walks.I absolutely love the beach area as well! It is clean and you can see the pier for the ferry to Vashon Island. There are plenty of parking options at the park. If you want a less crowded access to the beach(compared to Alki) where you can just enjoy a quiet time in the sun, I’d recommend this park!
Great biking, walking, running trail along the puget sound. Dog friendly! Lots of trails other than the one along the beach. Great public Restrooms at the saltwater pool.
Best park in all of Seattle. Love the fact that we live nearby and get to go so often. :) Walking through the middle in the rain is nice because not a lot of rain gets on you. Fairly clean. People who bring dogs are appropriate and there isn’t poop everywhere. My dogs love it and most people who visit us love this park too. 2 parking sites plus street parking. Restrooms, BBQ area and the water area doesn’t stink like it normally does.
Good amount of a acreage, featuring multitudes of paths among old growth trees. The west edge of the park is a path that runs along the Puget Sound.
Very easy trails with some great views. Parking is currently very limited but it is a great place to watch the sunset and chill for a few hours
Great little laid back spot to go take a walk my family enjoyed it
No matter how many times I go to Lincoln Park there is always something interesting to see. It’s peaceful and calming. Great for a short hike or long walk.
A not so hidden gem of West Seattle. Still quiet and has its charm :)
Love this place Lincoln Park is beautiful. A great place to enjoy nature walking with family. I love the salt water swimming pool by the sound
Lovely park so many tall tall trees. The forest is right next to the ocean. We got to see the ridge before the ridge drops off to the ocean. This park does not allow camping so that is one thing I didnt like as it would be way more awesome if u could camp there. We were thinking on starting a camp there anyways.
Great public park with lots of trees and access to the waterfront. Lots of winding pathways throughout the park so you can make your visit as long or short as you would like.
Beautiful park. You could spend days out here and still find new places to explore. The view of the ferry and the Puget sound is absolutely stunning.
Its big, lots of forest-y areas. Baseball diamonds, hiking trails, swimming pool on the water(Colman pool). Lots of parking. Good place to walk dogs.
Nice park with water access. A lot of seabirds. I got a picture of a big one—no bird expert here but I believe it’s a great blue heron
Lincoln Park is a great place to visit. It is well maintained and has a lot of things to do.They recently added a new playground on the North side. It has a wading pool, also North side. The water side is so beautiful, you can walk, ride your bike along the water trail or walk the trails in the middle of the park. You can have a picnic or rent one of their shelters.
Probably my favorite park in Seattle. The walk down to and along on the waterfront is simply gorgeous, as is the wooded area up the hill from the water. The air feels very fresh and clean from the wide variety of trees and plants in the area. Great place to go for a long walk, especially if you have a dog (though you cant bring them on the beach). Even if you dont, the trails here are popular for dog owners, many of whom will likely be happy to let you get some pets in with their pooch. Its also a great place for a family BBQ. Finally, its supposedly a good place to watch for marine mammals (seals, orcas, river otters, etc.), but I havent personally seen any. Regardless, highly recommend visiting here!
This is my favorite park in West Seattle. Even when the parking lot is full, you can feel alone walking through the forest. Its so peaceful and even more breathtaking when you walk down the hill to the water.
I love this park. The walkway next to the beach was difficult for my small reactive dog because of all the other dogs, bikes, and people. He did much better in the forest part of the park. He was calmer and the dogs were not so close.
Park was much bigger than I thought which is a huge plus. The grounds are well kept, as in there is very minimal trash along the walking paths so felt like you were really out in a forest. Around 6:30 not long after we got there the sun was beaming through the lush green leaves it was felt so amazing. This park is a real treat for locals.
The park is this quaint lush evergreen forest with a beach area that in stretches is pebbly and in other areas is sandy. When I went in the am it was peaceful and simply divine. You should know the parking lot is closed.
Great place for a walk and an evening sunset. Getting back up some of the hills can be a little challenging but not too bad.
There are so many beautiful trails to explore to the north. Plenty of fields and playgrounds. Oh, and an easy walk down to the water. Can spend days here and not run out of things to explore.
What a gem, most peeps up north dont make it down to check out as it does take a bit to get there but worth the drive. Nice walk along the water and an easy grade hike down to the water. lots of parking along the street and all the trails lead to path to the water.
So peaceful and beautiful, easy hike to tge beach with a good pair of shoes, for all ages.
A great park that is spacious enough for multiple activities and has a variety of shops nearby.
Great trails for wandering or running. Great views! Such a calming place to relax or enjoy a picnic with friends.
Nice park to visit if youre in Seattle! Its a nice walk along the coast and is pretty busy on the weekend. It is also dog friendly so it is a perfect place to walk your dogs!
This place is awesome its great for the beach its great for the trails theres dogs for your pets and theres friendly people. You can actually meet people and talk to them without feeling youre intruding on their space
Choldrens playground is nice and there is a variety of things to do. Picnic tables nearby
It was wonderful. Had a nice walk. Watch the sunset. Ate a snack. PEACEFUL!!
Nice West Seattle park near the ferry dock.
Pretty nice walk, but can get busy
Such an amazing park. Dont go there though I want it all to myself.
One of Seattles great parks for walking along the waterfront near the Fauntleroy Ferry terminal.
The scenery at the walking path at sea-level was absolutely beautiful. Perfect for a walk and lunch at one of the many picnic tables.
Beautiful park and great view of the sound. Lots of paths to walk and places to explore.
Playgrounds, shelters picnic tables, beach and lots of trails and natural park setting. Wonderful
Nice easy walk down to the water, stairs a little steepSomething in the foilage heightened my allergies. Cant stay too longThere is a strong smell that I suspect is coming from the water.
Great place to take walks. Parking can be hard, very popular place.
Well I know not to walk down the path by the pool on the beach anymore that is one heck of a steep walk back up!!!!!!! Next time Ill just go to the lowest parking lat easy to go down but man that one up on top was really really hard to walk back up Ive been going to alki but this is my new nice little gas station at the top of the hill and has a good taco truck and a little convenience store, perfect weather for its pretty Rocky but its worth not half as busy as alki my new spot for once I didnt take pictures I was too busy looking around
This park is THE BEST in Seattle! I’ve been coming here my entire life, so much offered here. Great walking trails, beach area has the best views, bbqs, wading pool and Coleman pool, wildlife - this park has everything. Very tranquil, and a nice get away in the center of West Seattle.
I expected more music but it was very scenic
One of my favorite urban parks in Seattle. Quiet, gorgeous views.
Delightfully dense forest trails for a city park. Lovely beaches and a community outdoor pool. One of Seattle’s oldest and best parks.
Have loved this place since I was a kid. A little overcrowded now tho.
Great park. Love walking there.
Always a fun visit. Some part of it reminds me of Stanley Park of Vancouver. Beautiful view of ferry and Puget Sound. Very family friendly and a public pool.
Big beautiful park with lots of stunning view of water and mountain. Good for hanging out, BBQ, family with kids, running, jogging and the lists go on.
Sitting on pebbles and listening to soothing sound of waves. Fall colors on other side of the trail, sound of the leaves crunching under feet is like music to ears. And beautiful shades of sunset. Loved this place.
Its huge. I was there many times and still did not explore every path. The most beautiful beach.
Perfect place to explore with kids - has a great playground and access to the beach with views of the Sound
So beautiful, a must visit.
Amazing view. Nice place to relax and nice to feel the ocean breeze.
Lincoln Park is beautiful park! This is a great park to take a long walk with your fiance & dogs, especially at sunset! If Im in the area Id definitely enjoy taking another walk down one of the parks many trails.
Nice place top take a walk and watch the sunset
Beautiful walk along water with a great view
Killer place! Highly recommended
There is nothing quite like the experience of going to a waterfront park in the Pacific Northwest. The scenery is amazing and the weather is always perfect even when its raining
Fewer people in the Rocky beaches. Perfect if you want sun and social distancing.
Awesome doggy walk! Just moved to the neighborhood.
Amaze trail. A lil hilly with awesome chill lake/beachfront.
Amazing views and really dog friendly!
Beautiful views, nice walking trail along the water and through the park itself.
Love this park. The water, ferry boats, and hiking paths.
This park is our nearby regional park and has a variety of amenities and environs. Great kids park with zip line on north end. Soccer and baseball fields in the center. Trails along the coastline and up through woods. Picnic shelters along the south coast and the Coleman salt water pool near the middle. Cool views of the Vashon Ferry and Blake Island and across to the Kitsap Peninsula. My kids love the Leprechaun Tree - an old cedar with low horizontal limbs great for climbing.
Beautiful park to visit with a group, significant other, or even alone. Wonderful landscape and background for photography. Changes from hilltop grass and trees to walking down on the beach with shells and driftwood. Lots of angles of light here and open area. Great for finding shells, picnicking, tanning, exercising, and more. Nice little drive over the bridge from Seattle. Alki beach is not far to the north, another good stop to make.
Lots of good trails through a big open canopy of diverse trees. The waters edge is pretty good for finding critters when the tide is out.
Great place to spend time outside!
A true Oasis only minutes away from downtown. Get lost in the beautiful trails or go for a hike up some steep stairs that lead down to a glorious beach in the pictures listed
Amazing park! Well maintained paths and trails, and a beautiful, wide paved path at the bottom by the water that makes it possible to socially distance.
Nice place, it was clean and not a lot of people, but we visited early in the morning
Very lovely scenic park overlooking the pudget sound and shaded trails and beach area
It was very steep. Make sure you have plenty of water. Also a little smelly, about as bad as smelly cat. But over all it was a beautiful and pleasant place to spend the 4th of July.
Exceptional park that has both beautiful waterfront and dense forest. Certainly one of the top Seattle parks!
Lincoln Park is everything that epitomizes Seattle with none of the negatives. Sweeping views of the Olympics and Puget Sound, ferries docking and departing, and all the associated wildlife. Im lucky enough to call this part of my extended backyard, but its worth a trip even if you do have to drive.
Nice and quiet walk close by WS
Beautiful walk and lots of dogs!
Unbelievably beautiful! Take the time to stop and enjoy this beautiful place.
After a long, full, whirlwind day exploring downtown Seattle, this was a great stop to get us back to nature. The 3 year old with us thoroughly enjoyed throwing rocks into the water and getting us to run through the forest as the path wandered around. It was a great escape from the city with boats and waves to watch and enjoy. I recommend ending your day here, too.
Looks at Vashon, the coast walk is glorious, and then the return above paralleling is amazing. Saw seals in the waves today, windy weather, sun feels great.
The fact that I can walk to and enjoy this park and the gorgeous views adds to the charm of living where I do. What is not to love?!
Nice place for an evening run along the beach and then up through the trails even though it was a cloudy day.
Best place to ride OneWheel in Seattle.
The upkeep on this place is top notch! Nice park.
I Grew up in the Fauntleroy area and spent what seems like half of my life in Lincoln Park. I learned to play baseball there, rode bikes, walked the beach, played tennis, football, had picnics, and took my daughter there all the time when she was younger. After moving away and then to Ballard for many years and then returning to West Seattle, it is easy to recognize what I may have taken for granted as a kid and living right at the entrance for many years. And that is that Lincoln Park is my favorite park and MY vote for the BEST PARK in Seattle. I can honestly say that I have seen some of the most beautiful sunsets Ive ever seen there, and when I am dead and gone I want my ashes to be laid to rest next to the water and next to my best friend James. So I can stay there always and watch the sunsets. Lincoln Park is my home.
I loved this and cant wait to return. Has just about every park activity available. Great park to spend the day.
One of the cleaner parks I’ve been to in Seattle. Located in West Seattle. Pleasantly shaded wooded trails. Little rocky shorelines with driftwood. You can also enjoy a warm swim in their public pool for a couple bucks upon entering.
I love this park went here with my boyfriend was very woodsy.
Stunning seaside views of islands, sunsets and the Olympic Mountains at Lincoln Park! There are many benches, playgrounds, trails and shelters by reservation. If I remember correctly, call to reserve shelters or you can rsvp online from the park website. There is free four hour parking and there is a disabled lot right next to the beach.
One of my favorite parks in the city. Very nice walking paths that are well maintained year round. You can be walking in what may seem deep dark woods, just to turn around and have beautiful views of the fairies moving through the sound.
Kids had fun looking at wildlife at low tide, and building with driftwood.
