This is a very fun and decorative park. It is outdoors and while walking outside there are live animals, fairyland structures and theme park and a merry go round ride. It is nice for kids to walk around and explore and is big enough to spend several hours here. The food and snacks are good and decently priced too. My son loved this place!
Loved this! I’m a grown man and a little wild by nature but this ride had me smiling from ear to ear. So much fun
Amazing. A must go. Worth the wait in line if there even is one. Been here multiple times. Went with my mother one time and she was actually scared because of how real it all feels. If you have visited the famous Washington locations this will show you all the spots you been to. If you are visiting Washington and this is the first place you go you will see all the places you want to go to. Be ready for a true experience.
You will be so glad you visited Wings over Washington. There is no place like it anywhere and the experience is one youll never forget! You will visit places that you never knew existed in Washington state (right in your own back yard) in ways that are magical! Others were there for the second and third time when I was on my first and YES I want to return! You will too! This is something you dont want to miss! See ya inside the crater from Mt. St Helens eruption. Dont miss this!
This is not like a crazy and scary universal 3D rides, but you can actually enjoy it. Kids in particular. Total time for the whole experience would be around 30 mins. Paid parking is available across the street. Fun place to visit if you are in downtown Seattle.
I wanted to go back again immediately after coming out! One of a kind, this VR experience is phenomenal I would say. The virtual ride gives you a real adrenaline rush as you go though so many beautiful landscapes experiencing paragliding/parasailing and many such thrilling activities. They have nailed it!
Folks, if you have any doubts as to whether you should do this, GO! It was absolutely amazing! Its just like Disney Soarin except with a Washington theme. Itd be nice if they made it a minute or two longer.
Ive been putting off this ride for years. It was actually quite an impressive simulator. The ride is floor-less, sprays water and wind. If you liked Disneys Soarin over California, youll like this ride.
I went yesterday, and it was so awesome. You really feel like you flying like an eagle over Washington. You get strapped into this seats and the seats get raised and your feet dangle, than you feel like you flying over Mt Rainier, the Pacific ocean, you feel a most when you close to water, you smell the tulips when you fly over the tulip fields...it feels sooo real. It last only about 10 minutes, but for me to see the beauty of Washington from a birds eye view was so worth it. If you afraid of heights, be aware, it feels so real it felt to me the first seconds like I was on a slow roller coaster ride.:).
Beyond awesome and spectacular ! I could actually feel like I was riding on the wings of an eagle. Ill be going back there many more times. I could never get old or boring. After I was done with that, we had a blast hanging out on the pier and eating great food. Next month Ill be taking my sister and then well also be going on the Ferris Wheel that is right next door. I dont like heights all that much, but I promised I would. (GULP....)
If you’re looking for something to do with friends and family that live in or out of town, this duo is pretty darn fun! The Wings of Washington and the Wheel! It won’t disappoint ... only wish they had a 21 and over Wheel ride!
We love CA Adventures Soarin ride, so when we realized this was along the same lines, we quickly bought tickets. Though it is on a smaller scale, you will not be disappointed! The scenery is great, the virtual reality feeling is really, really good, and it has the same breeze effects and scents to match what you are flying over ... plus a little bit more that the CA Adventures ride does not have. Youll have to go find out for yourself! Would do this again in a heart beat!
This ride is much closer to Disney’s “Soaring”, compared to the Flyer in San Francisco. It’s way better production then the Flyer. The introduction was well done, and entertaining. The ride itself lasted a long time, and had great effects like water spraying in your faces, and the seats moving. Great show!! Way better then the Ferris Wheel next door. This was my kids highlight of Seattle, definitely worth the $17 ticket.
This is one of the funniest things I have done in a long time. Well worth the money I will definitely try it out. I spent under a hundred bucks doing this the ferris wheel and the aquarium. Was a bargain for sure
From the time the program started, to the time I very reluctantly left after it was over, I was absolutely amazed and was craving for it to be a much longer program... I will return if I visit Seattle again!. Every visitor to Seattle waterfront should go as they will not be disappointed!
It was a fun ride beautiful views and the staff was friendly the reason I gave it a four star is it should be Called flying over Seattle area it missed the whole eastern side of Washington state, like farm land wheat fields, apple orchards, wine country Palouse falls and so much more. The ride needed to be longer and really fly over Washington so people can see what our beautiful state has to offer over the mountain.
The experience was awesome. As the name suggests it gives you a aerial vision of things around Washington. Fun thing to do if you are coming with kids.It could be longer.
A virtual and unique way to experience what Washington has to offer, in terms of their popular attractions. This attraction is located along the Seattle pier, just beside the Seattle Great Wheel attraction.Since it was our very first time, when we went in, we did not even know what to expect. It was a very unique experience - I remembered our virtual experience when we rode the Star Wars attractions at Disney World. The ride felt very real, and the rides were all beautiful views of various attractions throughout Washington State. And one part I especially liked was the matching water splashes.Although the virtual experience was unique and memorable, it was very short though (the prerequisite safety training was much longer than the actual attraction, and I feel most of the safety parts were unnecessary – they were mostly cosmetic. They should have made the actual ride longer, and then the entrance fee should have been more reasonable. If you are planning to experience this attraction though, I would recommend you do it during your first day in Seattle because it serves as a bird’s eye view of famous Washington attractions. Then it would give you an idea what places to visit in the Washington area.
I’ve had to take my kid here on multiple occasions because he loves it so much. What a fun experience! I have to admit I take him without much of a fight on my part, because I like it so much myself. I wish it wasn’t so expensive to go, I might go bankrupt taking him here so often
If you wanted to feel like superman and fly through the sky this is going to make it a reality.Gave a nice drone based view of washington. I loved the experience. Since i have never been to anything on similar lines, i was blown away.I didnt want to leave when it ended. It is a great place to bring tourists.Initially the motion can get a little overwhelming since your legs are hanging, but i got used to it eventually.
I went to Wings Over WA for my birthday. I was amaze by the landscape they take you through. I wish it was a little longer and gave you Eastern WA. For the price I pay seem costly for the time I spent in there. I totally recommend it for people who don’t know WA well are visiting the area for the first time and want to see some major landscape that makes WA a unique place to live.
Great fun and experience if youre not scared of hights. A fantastic way to see what our great State has to offer and fantastic fun for the kids. Only negative - it wasnt long enough and was over too quickly. I could quite happily have stayed up there for a lot longer. Still, well worth a visit, especially for the kids.
I love this ride. I never tire of bringing out of town guests here. It is fun and gives a good overview (pun intended) of WA State. Beginning part is pretty hokey but maybe it appeals to primary grade kids.
This is a hidden gem. Love the short ride - sit in the middle and you get the best view. Just wish they had different videos, or switched them up so that we wont get bored watching it over and over. Well my fault for being there like 10 times but common, you gotta upgrade the video. The old hwy 99 is gone..just another reason to make a new film hah
Awesome experience but for $20 you want a little more timeIm hoping that soon they will add one minute maybe two would make all the difference And or just a couple more of our great States unique features.
We loved going to Wings over washington it was an Amazing experience. I have been there couple time still loved it.
Fun, Fun, Fun & so well done! Much like Disney’s Soarin’. Definitely a must-see attraction.
You have to go there at least once if youve never been there. VR-like immersion is astounding. A must see!
Wow! Was not expecting much but WOW! It was really amazing. Even when we sat down in the ride, I was trying to figure out how it was going to work. I was so surprised that we are going back to do it again tomorrow evening.
This was a really great experience! Only reason I didnt rate it 5 stars is because of the price/length of show. Would love for it to last twice as long - or to be able to go twice. Its so fast that I feel like you miss things.
This was my second time and Ill go again! Totally exhilarating and gorgeous. And Im afraid of heights and I loved it! Truly feel like you are flying!
It was so much fun! We found one in Vancouver bc also! Such a fun experience! If your there it’s a must do! I can’t wait to go back again!
Loved it! Didnt know what to expect when we went in, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences we had in Seattle. Definitely better than the wheel next door, at least for us. :-) The only downside is its too short! :-)
One of the best virtual reality rides that I have been on. The ride feels very real and even nauseating to some extent and includes beautiful views of various attractions throughout Washington state. Ride is only about five minutes long. The ride was fun though and I recommend it if you have cash and time to spare.
Love this place soooo much, see all the best Washington attractions sitting in same seat. Experience mist, smells, tilting like youre flying on WINGS and it amazingly seems like being there!!!
Fun 4D experience for tourists. You get a brief view on different Washington attractions and what defines Washington as a state. You end up seated in seats similar to roller coaster ride seats, and as the short film plays the seats are suspended a few feet from the ground giving a 4D experience as the you see the different parts of Washington from the view of a plane giving you the sensation of flying.
I thought the rode was great, it was much like soaring over California at Disneyland. I thought it was better.
Great experience. It would be nice if the ride was longer, but very fun.
Its a refreshing ride. A must try. The ride can be at least 10 minutes long though, instead of around 6.
Wish it was a little longer. It was really impressive. It was such a thrilling ride over the highlights of Washington State. Made me feel so proud to live here. The ride = price, its a bit spendy for about 10 minutes. It was really cool though. Highly reccommend.
Cheesy intro but great attraction, really shows you good highlights of the state!
Really cool ! Highly recommend, although it’s quite short and kinda pricey for the length of time. However, other than the price, I highly recommend it!
Very nice trip .. I really enjoyed it. Although its short but interesting.
Great tour. The experience is amazing, a must visit place in Seattle
Must do! 15 minute ride that takes you over some of the most beautiful spots of the state of Washington
Awesome ride! The preshow is entertaining and the actual show is quite fun and definitely worth the price of admission. At the beginning of the ride my stomach had a little bit of a hard time adjusting to movements and everything but quickly settle down. Only thing I wish is that it was a little long some scenes feel slightly rushed.
Beautiful showing of parts in Washington. Would definitely do again. Seatbelts fit larger people which was great. My grandchildren loved it and so did the adults. Would have loved to have a discounted price to go on it a second time.
I loved it! All the special added features just made the whole experience great! Definitely recommend this to anyone to do while visiting Seattle!
I went with my 14 year old son and we both LOVED it! Totally exceeded our expectations! It plays on all your senses and does not disappoint!
A YouTuber I met at a convention posted an Instagram story of himself visiting this attraction. Jokingly I asked him about how it was. He then asked if I wanted to go, and gave me a ticket. So I kind of went into this expecting a lame and campy ride. However when I went, what I got was a lot better than my expectations. Sure, its campy, but the ride is genuinely fun and educational. It features great aerial photography of Washington. Very similar to Soaring California in California Adventure.
Great ride Down by Water Front. Next to great Ferris Wheel. Walking distance to Pikes Market,Starbucks and so much more. Rode it two times
Highley recommend!! It was a ride I had never been on before ! I think out of everything we have done in Seattle this is one of the great experiences. Will be going back each time I visit here! Its truly a one of a kind ride!! You will love it!
Delightful experience, although the movie portion seems rather brief and there are no captions to tell you what scene or portion of the state you are looking at. This, a nice experience but not informative.
The beauty of Washington state is incredible, and on this ride you experience the best the Evergreen State has to offer. You feel like you get away from it all for a bit. Ive been 3 times and will certainly be back.
Been a few times & it never gets old!! Super fun an entertaining. Drive all the way from sumner just to take the fam. Well worth the $
It was fun but short. Would be better if they had small captions on the different areas we saw because even as a local, I didnt recongize certain places and I guarantee that visitors would have no idea what theyre looking at.
This was definitely a fun little excursion! It costs close to $20 dollars for adults, and the actual entertainment time is probably less than 15 minutes in the door and out again. While it was really immersive and exciting, I do not feel that the price was worth the time they actually give you in the ride. Glad to have done it once though. Hopefully they add more to the 4-D ride part in the future.
Really cool experience. Great way to see the entire state of Washington if you dont have time to actually do it... Strongly suggest it. Go after 9pm to avoid the lines...
OMG I love this place whenever I have friends coming to Seattle I go to this ride with them never get tired of it. It’s amazing experience it is must gooo. Enjoy it while you can
Been there several times and LOVED IT every time! A real hidden gem in Seattle.
This ride one of the most exciting I have ever done in my life, good for kids and elders. HAHAHA! What an experience, must try ride you wont regret it!I love the service, safe details, and friendly staff. A little bit expensive but worth it.
The ride itself was absolutely amazing. Everything else was a huge disappointment. The staff might as well be robots, they herd you in the front door and pack as many of you as they can in a tiny room where you wait for 10 minutes.
I was completely surprised by this attraction and in the best was possible. I went with a large party (ages 2-60) and every single one of us enjoyed this ride. There isnt a lot of movement so that is comforting for grandparents. ADVICE: sit in the back row to view the screen from the highest and best vantage point.
Loved it. Very similar to Soarin at Epcot Center, Orlando, which is my favorite ride of all time. This one was better. So glad we did this.
Went to ride the Ferris wheel and they had tickets at the booth for wings over Washington so I decided to purchase for me and my 8 year old daughter, we had no idea what to expect and I must say I was completely surprised and it was a Blast! we actually returned a couple times before our trip was over. Sooooo much fun, feeling of flying over Washington, also feeling of mist and scent of pine trees and flowers as you fly over different scenes. The park ranger is quite comical . There isn’t much of a wait to get in, ride last 15 minutes and It cost $35 for me and my daughter which isn’t bad for the experience! Unfortunately there isn’t any picture or video taking aloud inside, so I only have a pic I snapped while waiting in line.
This place is fun,l and definitely tourist-y
Be sure to het a seat in tbe back row. So much more of a flying experience! I have been 3 times and it is just as thrilling each time as it was the first time. Everyone should do this!!
A definite must do at the pier, though the price is a little high it is definitely worth it. Its the exact same quality you get from Soarin at California Adventure and Epcot, with a very unique Washington twist. I am very happy I chose to do this as it was amazing!
This is such a neat attraction on the boardwalk. The attention to detail in the building itself is fantastic and really adds to the atmosphere of the ride itself. The introduction is informative and cute and sets the tone for the high flying adventure you are about to set out on. The ride itself is very comfortable and shows all of the iconic places of Washington State. This ride is much cheaper than an airplane tour of Washingron state and gets you just as close to the action. The ride really makes you feel like you have visited all of the amazing places Washington has to offer. I was worried I would get motion sickness as I have on VR rides before but the smoothness of the motion, and the setup of the screen did not bother me at all. This ride is one for all ages and I would highly recommend checking it out if you find yourself near that section of the pier.
A hidden gem! Located behind the Wheel, this is a must see. Great for all ages, although not so much for those with motion sickness. A unique attraction that showcases the broad beauty of Washington State. Sure to be a family favorite.
One of the coolest things Ive ever seen! So realistic.
Oh my goodness wow!! I cant recommend this enough! Im not gonna lie, it was so beautiful that I got a little emotional! Wonderful family activity that is worth every penny!
Ride is worth the money. Photos at the end are not. I thought the ticket for online access was for the digital version of the photo I bought. Nope- just a chance to buy it again. Girls working the register did not relay this information correctly.
Wings Over Washington is awesome this place is way cool . Its on the seattle water front its easy to find and lots of fun . This place is a sweet place to visit with your family and friends . Theres so much stuff to do and see around here . Theres plenty of parking spaces across the street . I love this place . #love
Loved it! This is a ride where you are strapped to your seat and gives you the illusion you are flying in the air. Lots of fun for kids and adults of all ages. I saw a kid and I think his grandmother sat near me. Like other viewers its expensive and doesnt last long. But hey you live once so if in this area near pike place market go and get on this ride you will enjoy it.
This was absolutely amazing!!!! I will recommend this to every person I know that goes to Seattle. The beauty and just how awesome it is cant really be put into words! A MUST when visiting Seattle!
This was an interesting activity. . .I think we (party of 4) came at a slow time (December) because we were the only ones in line. When you first entered the room, they have you sit and play this interesting instructional video. At first the adults (and children) were confused as to what was happening. After a minute or two, we caught on and realized that this was an instructional video on how to behave throughout the experience. When the demonstration was over we kind of sat there looking at each other wondering what to do next (plus we also thought it was over and got kind of upset). When we went through the second door, we were brought to a room (theater-looking) and then realized that there was more. We got seated and the whole experience was pretty cool. Since this is like a smaller version of flying over California, it seemed better. you got the feeling of actually flying instead of looking like a weird roller coaster. The little one definitely wanted to go again, but we didnt have time. Well be back and hopefully we get the place to ourselves again.
Abdolutely GREAT experience. Will go again!
Awesome!!! Do it! Pretty Quick attraction - not short but not long. Like 15 minutes.
Pretty good, however value for money would say 3 stars. Please make it longer.
It reminded me of Soarin over California in California Adventures themepark! They took the heart of Washington state and put it into a nicely done simulated experience with different sights, smells and feelings that I was overjoyed to experience in beautiful downtown Seattle. Price was a bit steep but line wasnt bad and unlike anything around the Washington state area that Ive come across. Highly recommended attraction!
It was like I was a kid again. I was smiling the whole time. I was actually surprised how much I was going to like it- everything was suggesting I wasn’t- kitsch and touristy, seemingly overpriced amusement park prices, *semi-spoiler alert* the cheesy ranger pre-ride pre-game, and plus I am really not impressed with Regal’s 4DX or rides of that type. But this... yeah. I got it. I felt it. It’s how it should be. My only thing.... maybe it’s just me... it seems like it’s just a touch out of focus????? Like it could be clearer? I mean the images are amazing and huge... but in the 4K 8K UHD world we live in these days, it would be amazing to have this experience in that crispness of clarity. That would just put it over the top!!!
Very similar to Soaring Over California at California Adventure. Great way to take friends to from out of state.
A breathtaking experience, i didnt what to expect while entering. This ride exceeded my expectations and me and my family had the time of our lives flying over landmarks of Washington like a 4D virtual reality experience.
Its an jaw dropping experience. Shows the beauty of Washington state. I would have given them 5 stars if the duration was longer for the ticket price. It would be great if they identify each of the scenaries. Other than that a must see. I think the back row middle seat is the best. Once you purchase the tickets you will be asked to gather around in a hall. After sometime they will send you to a briefing room. In the briefing behind the last row theres an image of a Thunderbird called into the wall. Thats the entrance to the theater. If youll sit close to that last row, you get to enter the theater first. The first peoplewho walks into the theater will get to sit in the back row. So if you want to sit in the best seat, make sure you sit in the back row near the entrance in the briefing room.
Very great but shorter than expected
