Nice park. Surrounded by houses and apartments. Has bathrooms. The park area looked clean. I would let my son and daughters play at this park. They have a nice trail or sidewalk (whichever you prefer to call it) to walk or ride your bike on.
Love the idea they are putting out to the community about building a park for everybody to be able to experience what they come to a park for in there own way . I think thats a great idea. I saw all kinds of people kids, mons and dads, a skate park and it was all being used with happy people. I only stopped in for a quick bathroom break and I liked what I saw .
Clean park with a nice little trail.
Nicely kept up park.
Fun little place for there kids
I like to use the basketball court with my girls here
Its a good stop if you are taking kids on a bike or run. The baby swing further from the playground doesnt hold too much water if it just rained. You can easily use it without getting your babys bum wet.
The park is great during the day, but at night it is not a place for children. The person that said that the apartment renters make this park awful is not correct. Renters here are suffering from the park bathroom being open all night, it is loud and full of drug deals and other illegal activities at night. If the bathrooms were locked at night or completely shut down as they are rarely use for proper reasons this park would be much better off. Police should get involved in the issues at night as it makes the apartments, playground, bathroom, preschool/daycare, and Burke Gilman trail less safe. Also people, pick up your dog’s poop, keep dogs on leashes, and teach children to not run up to other people’s dogs.
Nice place to go for a quiet walk or have a picnic.
Good place to get freaky late at night.
This is playground is average, or perhaps below average by Seattle playground standards. But its right off the Burke Gilman and never very crowded.
Cute little park with small labyrinth structure and pretty little grass hills. But the playhouse is for very little toddler. Not too challenging for a 4 year old kid.
Homeless everywhere
A mix of play equipment for smaller (under 8?) children, sheltered from Sand Point Way by a field with a few hills. All the play equipment is fairly exposed to the sun/rain, so pack sunscreen on a hot day.
Go here lots and it’s very clean and nice
Its small but well designed
This is a nice neighborhood playground. It doesnt have any particularly exciting play equipment, but everything is new-ish and nothing appears to be broken. Its never very crowded, if theres anyone there at all.
Well kept playground in residential area with large field for pick up sports or dogs. Occasional smokers. Poorly lit at night.
Dropped in with my son ...if not hood might want to go elsewhere
Good to live and if you have kids they could stay there
Burke gillman park was good
Nice community park with restrooms, a playground, a small maze and an open grass field.
Renters of the apartment houses make this park awful.
A great place to be active and relax from life.
Good place to be just talking to yourself
Nice small park close to Burke Gillman trail.
Great park.
