Wow, what a beautiful little gem, a great spot for a date, strolling with friends, a quiet walk or a special occasion. It can be confusing if you dont take a picture of the directory in the beginning, but no matter what youll end up right back at the start. There are a few outdoor restrooms, not the cleanliness. This is also a beautiful place to take pictures, take your dog for a jog or a nice bike ride.

Beautiful place to walk, run or ride a bike. Very peaceful and quiet. The nature that surrounds this area is just wonderful. There is plenty space to have a walk, or a picnic with some friends without getting in contact with too many people, specially in this times of Covid. I enjoyed every minute I spent here. I recommend it 100%. Kids and dogs friendly. Please, keep the place clean and wear a mask when close to people. Thank you.

This park is amazing! Beautiful place and well kept. The only thing that wasnt good is that they have shut down the visitors center and no bathrooms available. Be prepared to stumble across someone relieving themselves on your hike through this park. Thats what happens when people take away the restrooms! !!!Other than that its great!

Wow ! what a place! so many different colors and shades of every single color!! was absolutely amazing what i seen there as it was just such a nice walk! as you enter there is a little bridge that you go over to then you see this huge “pond” with so many different kinds of fish inside - big ones too that you can feed with easy - you also see so many different colors of every single tree and plant that is there - this place is perfect if you are trying tojust relaxing and ease yourself and it’s a great spot to take many different pics - if you love nature and relaxing and of course taking pictures, i definitely recommend this place 10/10!

This is a really nice park with beautiful plantings. I deducted stars because they have very little educational plant signage, no pamphlets or info outside of the (currently closed) visitor’s center, and the bathrooms are all locked. Even the Japanese Garden (that requires tickets and has staff on site,) had the bathrooms closed. The surrounding neighborhoods are mostly residential so you have to plan ahead with your party to ensure nobody will need the bathroom for at least a couple of hours. The park gets really crowded, so go during weekdays if you can. There were so many trails that we were still able to enjoy the walk, even on a crowded Sunday.

Pleasant walk on a sunny Seattle summer morning. Not too crowded, though the parking lots were full. The Japanese maple were beautiful to wander through. Folks were generally respectful of Covid distancing. Most were masked and tried to keep their 6 foot spacing. Cool breeze off the water was refreshing. Plantings were well cared for. Great signage to help ID the trees and other plantings.

Nice garden to take a walk for a long time. But, it is not special. Just big and large garden. If you want a special place to take a picture or record video, you should go to other place. When you go to the north of Washington park, you can go to the Foster Island and you can find a spot to take pictures. Especially, the sunset view is the best. Have a nice day and enjoy your time for a walk. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went here for the third time on my birthday, back on March 23rd. The trees were so beautiful - most of them were blooming - and the path we went on was great for walking! It was a no-bake zone so we didnt have to worry about cyclists, and there were very few people there so we were able to keep our distance. There is a great variety of flora, some of them with beautiful bark, others shaped in weird ways, but so many with beautiful flowers! Will definitely need to go again when it is safe!

I LOVE the Rose Garden. Seems the best time to go is March -September-is. If you go to the middle (where the circular flower bed is) and face West, you will see another flower bed that is quite long and in the shape of an arc. There are some pink roses all the way to the left of that bed and they smell AMAZING.
