The Center for Art in Schaumburg is one of my favorite places. Its beautiful at any season but in fall its just amazing! You got everything there!

A cultural gem in the NW suburbs. Highest quality performances and productions. Professional, friendly, helpful staff. A tremendous place to see or hear anything from pops to jazz, rock, blues, symphonic, theatre, lectures and dance.

The park around the center is beautiful, not only is there an open space for concerts, there is also a great sculpture trail nearby thats great for a short walk.Within the center there are normally performances and art on display.

Beautiful well maintained facility. Part of the Schaumburg Park District. Decent seating for a wide variety of performances. Used for local dance recitals and choirs. Local theater productions. Most performances/offerings on weekends. Go to website for upcoming events, tickets usually in advance due to popularity.

Schaumburg has a wonderful performing arts stage. The grounds are gently sloped so that you can get a good view of the stage from the grass area. Parking can be a little difficult for the more popular acts. The Summer Concert series features many kinds of music.

Went for the Presto! Christmas concert as I and my daughters have done for years. Great place to enjoy all kinds of entertainment, from classical music to comedy and something for every taste in between! Easy to get to, plenty of parking in a beautiful setting

If you havent seen a show by Schaumburg On Stage, please do so. The performers are all kids and young adults. They sing and dance their hearts out in every performance Ive seen. Al Larson Prairie Center is one place they perform.

We absolutely love it here, were coming back here year after year for years now. We enjoy the nature, beautiful pond with beautiful swans, and of course unforgettable summer concerts. Great place for the whole family. Thank you so much .

Check out the musical lineup for this place, buy your tickets and go here! Reasonably priced, creative programming in a jewel of a setting in Schaumburg. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Added bonus: a sculpture garden and wooded walking trail on the grounds behind the Center.

Seating was great, along with having great acustics. We saw VoicePlay with 3 kids.

I went here with my children because we saw a building challenge event for online but when we are there my children couldnt participate. It was only for high schoolers. You should have to specify if is for children or teenagers. I drove 30 minutes for nothing

Septemberfest was great. The food choices were good and all the vendors were nice. They have artists performing and a carnival. A great time can be had for the entire family.

Its an fun time for a whole family or friends. It is in the Schaumburg park district park so it has a lot of stuff in the area. If has nice seating and good amenities. It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It is also a great part of Community events like September fest.

Urinetown was PHENOMENAL!! The entire staff of the Prairie Center was extremely nice and helpful! Theres not a bad seat in the house either! Ill definitely be going back to see more shows!

Watched Mutts gone nuts” dog and comedy show here. Show comedians were really funny and very good to watch all the Mutts do various stunts.

Love the variety of entertainers and programs they have here at a very reasonable price. Also, the free summer concerts are nice to attend for a fun night out.

Awesome pond and trail with sculpture park. The village building is here and there are plays and shows in the prairie center. In the summer there are swans.

Great venue for my graddaughters dance recital. Banked seating made it possible for all of us to see the performers. Love coming here .

Went to the art exhibit. It was smaller this year compared to past years. Not a lot of people buying things. Prairie Center is a nice place and has great events.

We were there for a reunion of our daughters dance company. You have a good view from any seat in the house.

Beautiful theater and outdoor areas. We have attended the Summer Breeze Concert Series there for over 15 years, and its always lovely. Bring your food, wine, and lawn chairs for a wonderful evening.

Nice area, well kept and a quiet place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day.

It was such a great time. Will definitely have to go back

A very nice relaxing place to go and take a walk. A lot of nice art work that makes you use the creativeness and imagination. Overall it was a cool place to check out and will go back.

Love it here for summer concerts and all year round.

Great place to take a walk and take in some outdoor sculpture. Very few places like it in the Chicagoland area. Nice water features, several wooded and paved paths that run along a babbling creek. A few government offices in the small nearby buildings are an afterthought as you walk around a well maintained and landscaped area. They have a few craft fairs and Septemberfest every year and theres a parade route that runs along the grounds as well. I havent even begun to talk about the theater and its cultural importance to the area. They invite local school groups in for matinees and have some great performances in the evenings too. Very happy to live nearby and feel fortunate to get to experience this community hub frequently.

Easy to find. Easy to park. Hallway art gallery was good use of space. Could have done without TV with loop promoting what was happening at the facility. Was there a coat check that I missed? It seems not based on everyone having on their coats. I grabbed a brochure to see what other performances will be featured but Im more likely to be found elsewhere.

This place is it a great show if you want calm and relaxed. I saw Aaron Neville last year and it was a pleasure to visit but I did get reprimanded for dancing in my seat so if you want calm, this was a great place!

Sart the summer with great cover bands, friendly crowd and best venue in the Northwest Suburb where every seat is a worth the price of admission. So set up a evening spread and enjoy the entertainment. Second set brings the sunset and then its summer magic.

Schaumburg September Fest this Labor Day weekend. Lot of great food venues, arts and crafts tents and fun filled rides for all of the family. Also Music concerts in the afternoon and night. Beer garden and Wine tents too.

Very wonderfully kept grounds. They have swans, sculptures, and a small lake with a fountain. We went here to take pictures after graduation. I cant say much about the buildings since Ive never been inside them. But the outside is very pretty. They have a small path that runs behind the buildings that leads to more sculptures along with some prairie conservation and trees.

We love going to local shows here...especially dance revues, recitals, etc. Very nice theater and sound.

Excelent venue for performances and large meetings. The stairs are a bit tricky so watch your step. The outside park area is a great place to come and relax with family and friends.

They have a good theatre setup for plays and performance programs.

The show was fantastic! The set was well done. But... the seats are not made for the larger person. They didnt check tickets, so someone that had tickets for a later show was trying to sit in our seats, and of 4 paying tickets, they only gave us 2 programs.

The seats were extremely uncomfortable. We saw the Subdudes and their performance was incredibly disappointing. Weve seen them before and my husband has historically been a huge fan. Tommy looked like he just rolled out of bed and acted as if he were drunk or something. The sound was off and could hardly hear his vocals. Weve never seen the Subdudes like this and we wound up leaving before the concert was done. We were not the only ones who left early... So disappointing...

We went to the Summer Breeze concert last Saturday evening (7 July) and saw Heartache Tonight, an Eagles cover band. It turned out to be a very nice evening and a great show.
