As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and an offer of champagne. All of the artwork there is beautiful and I love that they are all low country artists. If you want beautiful local artwork and jewelry, The Downstairs Gallery is a must.

A hidden nook of an Art Gallery. Yes, its in the original servant quarters of a classic Savannah home. Pam is an excellent hostess, warm and inviting and able to tell you about the local artists whos work is displayed throughout, including Morgan, the owner of the gallery. Youll have a tough time choosing, but thats OK as I would suggest waiting anyway until you have visited the Daedelus Gallery a few blocks away at the corner of E Liberty and Abercorn St before buying anything. Youll see why I am suggesting this after youve arrived.
