I placed an online order for leather totaling $133 I got 5 pieces that were short of the sq ft measurements, one even had a chunk missing from the corner, another had writing on one side and branding on the other, it’s supposed to be reversible but neither side is fully usable. I also bought a full hide but the one I received has a random whole in the middle of it. I am SO disappointed by this purchase and am awaiting a refund at this point. Such a waste of my time and effort only to receive quality products at such low standards

Measure is a cozy and well equipped fabric store in Savannah.Honestly - I would love to be able to call myself a proficient sewer but in reality its far from the truth. I picked up the skill late in life after having instructors that had little patience for my lack of skill. Feeling insecure about my skills and general know how, I avoided all fabric stores like the plague.Recently Id been tasked with a sewing project that I needed assistance with. Upon arrival at Measure I was greeted warmly by Maria, who politely reassured me that Id be able to accomplish the project. She was knowledgeable and helpful when it came to my fabric choices . And even kind enough to let me borrow a swatch as I didnt have enough cash on me this particular day.In short - Maria is the best and she will boost the confidence of anyone who is leery of daunting sewing projects ahead.

THE rudest business owner with the worst customer service. Not only was she beyond unhelpful, she is incredibly disrespectful and lacks basic social skills. The attitude she gives for absolutely no reason is so absurd that I thought it had to be a joke.

Not a wide range of fabric, but very neat and clean displays. Staff was very helpful and directed next another store a few minutes away. They did not have exactly what I was looking for, but offered an acceptable substitute. If the big stores dont have what you are looking for, try this place. Real quality.

I love this place! Measure has an excellent curated selection of high quality and beautiful fabrics! They carry a range of everything from synthetic to natural fibers, prints, solids, evening wear fabrics and even menswear suiting. They also have an abundance of hardware, cutting edge notions, pattern drafting materials and a gorgeous selection of leathers. All housed in a precious, colorful little shop in Savannah. Its a vital resource for me, I am so thankful Its so close to SCAD!

I’ve been shopping at Measure for a number of years now and have always had great experiences with the fabric selection and staff— so when it came time to produce my thesis collection, Measure immediately came to mind. Maria had me browse through many cards of different fabric weights, colors, and qualities until I found exactly what I needed. This bespoke fabric selection service is comparable to New York showrooms, at the convenience of a local store. Fabric was fantastic as always! I’d recommend Measure very highly! Also be sure to check back regularly as they stock lots of vintage and dead-stock fabrics you won’t find anywhere else, and once they’re gone— they’re go gone! Measure is a wonderful local store, whether you’re looking for craft supplies or more specific fabrics like garment making and upholstery, there’s always something new to look at!

Watch out for the moody store owner Maria. She was completely rude and short when I tried to ask her questions. She kept cutting me off and didnt allow me to ask the question I needed to find what I needed. They seem to focus more on instagram posts than actual costumer service. I would not recommend.

Measure has a kick-a** assortment of Fabric! I never feel like Im walking in there without help. Maria and MK are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to finding what I need! Definitely a better choice than a craft store as the fabric is specifically curated and modern! Highly recommend.

Small space with a well organized collection of fabrics and leathers. Scraps of leather available and willing to cut down larger pieces to get the size you need. Super friendly and helpful.

The staff at Measure is super knowledgeable about the products that they sell. They know what works together and what does not and often times will speak from experience. Measure works with SCAD to figure out the needs and wants of the students. Very helpful and a very good resource around Savannah.If you are not a student at SCAD but are looking for some guidance, the staff is always willing to help as best they can with that as well.Great selection of fabrics, leathers, and other tools needed to complete most products.

Came in recently to find fabrics for a project & was asked if i needed help with anything. i responded saying i wasn’t sure & needed some guidance on fabric choices as i wasn’t sure what would work. the manager was incredibly rude + didn’t provide any help, as she completely ignored what i was saying to her and interrupted me in the middle of my sentence. absolutely no help. their fabric selection seemed nice but the customer service was not worth it.

My mom lives in Georgia and when I visit (once or twice a year) we make a special trip to Savannah. In this whole gorgeous city, Measure fabrics is the first place we go (and usually the last stop out of the city as well). It is owned and staffed by very knowledgeable people and the selection is well curated. The leathers are unmatched anywhere else, and I can always find something unique and inspiring. I can`t wait to visit again!

Honestly, depending on the day that you go, it can be a good experience or a bad one. The manager there can be pretty moody. They have a good selection of leathers available per square foot as well as some home, apparel, and quilting fabrics as well as notions.

All kinds of fabrics, but their best was leather! Unfortunately, I didnt realize all the things I could use it for until after I left town. Very nice staff.

We wont be back. We were set to purchase $100 worth of leather and linen, and were quite happy. Then I tried to take a photo of my daughter shopping to send to my mother whom I was texting. If it was a good photo, I may have edited it and sent it to Instagram with a location tag, as we did at many locations that weekend in Savannah. The owner stopped me from taking a photo of my daughter. She said Id be surprised at who wants to steal the shops secrets. Its a public shop, there arent secrets and though its cute, its not unique. Its always good business practice to allow customers to share their experiences. Its free advertisement! We walked out empty-handed.

They have a wide and nicely organized variety of fabrics. The owner is very accommodating, helpful, and honest. Excellent service and wonderful selection. Very knowledgeable about what SCAD students need for classes. Leather selection cannot be beat. A must see for any SCAD FASH, FASM or FBRS student, as well as tourists who love any textile based art.

Maria Gallo is extremely rude every time I go to the store. Shes not willing to help and she over charged me. I went in for 2 sqft of leather but she claimed she couldnt cut only 2 because excess fabric was still attached. However this piece shows a cut out from a previous purchase that she was able to exclude the excess. I reluctantly accepted to pay for the extra amount however I measured the excess afterwards and she over charged me by over .5 sqft!!!

Absolutely love this store and have been a customer for 4 years! The store is well organized and carries such beautiful fabric that you wont find anywhere else. Such amazing customer service! Maria Gallo goes above and beyond for her customers when you are trying to find the perfect fabric for what you are creating. Maria helped me with several projects over the years and continues to do so. I am never disappointed when I walk out from Measure. Any SCAD FASH, FASM, FBRS, or ACCE student should definitely use this store as a resource for fabric and other sewing tools. Maria is a SCAD AlUM and knows what SCAD students need for their classes! Dissappointed... the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced. Weve visited several times and the cashier has been incredibly rude every time. Maria Gallo was unreasonably rude and unfortunately i will no longer support this local business and I will NOT refer it.
