I visit this local park semi-regularly with my kids and other family members. Its always clean and well kept. Surrounded by trees and set back away from the road, so kids are safe and there is no city or traffic noise. Multiple play areas, large pavilion, basketball court, tennis court and sidewalk path makes this park attractive to a very diverse crowd. Restrooms on site, generally decently maintained and located in the center for easy access to all patrons. I very pleasant quiet place to go for a day at the park with the family.

Love this park... Away from the hustle and bustle... Quiet... Up to date... Clean... All equipment up to date... And enough play equipment to keep my kids happy. Great shade and seating as well!

Nice facilities...not too small and not too big

One of our kids favorite places to play (6 and 9 y.o). They have a canopy covering most of the playground, so sun is not as much of a problem. The rest of the playground has a decent amount of shade from the surrounding trees.

Great park. Two separate areas; one for 2-5 year old and one for 5-12. Almost entire play structure is shaded and there are multiple swings (both baby and regular). Definitely taking my kids back...they are already asking when they can go back.

Big areas for outdoor activities. Everything you could hope for in a park. Grounds were clean of debri garbage cans were kept cleaned out. Plenty of Parking. Covered Pavilions. Easy to access. I drove down from Tampa. And feel its nice enough to make a return trip.

Best County park Ive found so far. They have a LARGE selection of activities and classes. BEAUTIFUL grounds make for a nice walk and the playground looks like fun!

Love the playground. Fan favorite for birthday parties. Kind of smelly from wastewater treatment tank nearby sometimes but on a windy day is great.

Great hours, plenty for younger kids and older kids to do. I went to summer camp here for several years as a child. They are located right off University parkway. Good amounts of shade can be found.

Beautiful and peaceful

Seems nice enough! But, I was just there to repair a broken water service damaged last week. So, I dont have a clear opinion one way or another!

Pretty good variety of equipment: big kid playground (very nicely shaded), little kid playground, tennis courts, basketball court (could use some updating), large pavilion with a bunch of picnic tables near the little kid playground, smaller covered picnic tables by the bigger kid playground, and a small open field. Bathrooms could definitely use some work. Besides the bathrooms, the reason I give it a 4 rating is because of the smell of the sewage treatment equipment in the middle of the parking lot. All-in-all, a great park to go to!

Love this park one of the best in the area and one of my kids favorite. I really like how they have a park for kids under 5 and on the other side kids 5 to 12. Both have a blue mesh covering to help with the heat and sun. They also have great picnic areas all covered and a basketball court and 2 tennis courts. Lots of trees so that means a bunch of pollen during spring and mosquitoes at night. Still a great spot for picnics, birthdays and, trips to the park . Dogs are not allowed in the btw.

Nice clean park, I like that the Fire Department is attached to the park makes a safe mind set for if your kids get injured while playing the EMT response time wouldnt be long.

Friendly helpful staff, 3 Pickle Ball courts in nice gymnasium. A little bit on the tight side from baseline to wall. Overall a good place to play indoor PB...

Great playgrounds for the kids. Separated by ages. Clean areas and nice tennis courts. The community center is in the back. But everything is overshadowed by the overwhelming smell of a county waste center in the middle of it all. The whole park smells like rotten eggs.

This park is awesome. Plenty of shade, two playgrounds (one for little kids and one for the older ones). They also have grills and a pavilion.

A lovely and relaxing park to take a break and watch some tennis.

I have been leading a chair yoga class at Longwood Park on Thursday morning. I want to thank Liz and John for their help and support. They are friendly and welcoming to newcomers using this facility.

We take the kids here about twice a week. they have great equipment but use the potty before coming. Their bathroom is always a bit dirty.

This park has absolutely everything! Indy big kid area if you will, a sandbox, swing set, and a really nice size Jungle Gym! There is plenty to do for kids 5 through the age of 12 to do here. Public restrooms are on the grounds as well. They are fairly decent and kept up as far as cleanliness. The tennis courts have two courts 4 people playing one. That seems to be The local attraction. Each time Ive come here theres always people playing on them. Theres an infant section for Little Tikes to play on. With a small swing set and other jungle gym amusement things to do. Theres also a basketball court which is the main reason why me and my kids come here. In addition theres a nice Pavilion with plenty of seating and picnic tables. You can have a party here as there is plenty of public grills to use. I will definitely plan one of my kids birthday parties here. Theres a decent amount of parking and plenty of room for kids to run around! This is a really nice park and I believe if you havent been here then you will definitely love it.

There are two playgrounds, one for toddlers and one for older kids. Theres also a nice field and a little path in the woods for walking... Plenty of tables for picnics or parties, bathrooms, water fountain, and a tennis court. Theres even a place for people to grab a book for free and donate books, if they want! However, theres a county waste treatment area right in the middle that causes the entire park to smell like rotten eggs. It really takes away from the great park.

Nice park, we go here every weekend, its never very crowded.

This is a great park! They have a lot of fun different activities on the playground, including swings, monkey bars, a variety of different slides and climbing contraptions, a sandbox, and spinning things that will wear the kids out quickly! Its great because most of it is under a nice shade providing tarp. Theres also tennis courts, a basketball court and a playground for tiny tots. There are picnic tables to snack on but be aware of the crazy squirrels and sketchy, fearless racoons. Avoid the bathrooms at all costs if you can theyre full of cobwebs and giant spiders from the ground up! Also there is some kind of sewage pump station in the parking lot that was emitting a horrible poo smell last time we were there. Over all, aside from the foul smells its a very decent park. Minus one star for the poopy stench.

Pickleball is indoors and fun!

Have been playing pickleball there a few times a week for the past month. Good group, mix of levels. Most people there do not like beginners, but everyone was a beginner at some point.

The park itself is beautiful, great for children, lots of shaded areas however one family hogged all the picnic tables for company that was coming. They actually asked my daughter and her husband to move from the table so they could use it. There were at least 6-8 tables in that area. Im sorry but if you need that many tables you need to rent them it reserve them. Had I been there when my family was asked to move...It wouldnt have happened.

Great park for kids glad they put the shade tent above the big playground the sun use to get it hot they also have a separate area for toddlers & a tennis court....restrooms & water is accessible here

Very nice playgrounds, lots of shade. Garbage cans are usually overflowing and random bits of litter all over the play areas. If it was cleaner it would be 5 stars

Nice Dog Park, only minus is that there is a very small watering station for large dogs, and no way to rinse off your dog after exercising in the high heat of FL. Nicer people than other Dog Parks in the surrounding areas.

I visited this Park. Its ia hidden spot gem located just south of University Parkway on Longwood Run Boulevard. There I spent one hour and watched a dance show, and basketball games.***
