Going here at the right time is essential. My dog and I went our first time and it is just beautiful. Bridges, fishing spots a lake! What matters is that you go at the right time as there are disc golf leagues and whatnot covering then park grounds. Its honestly not where Id go to if I was looking to be one with nature. The sounds are intense and the grounds are cramped with leagues of people making a ruckus. Its very sad because it seems they frighten off the nature. Ill be sure to never go back there during their practice or tournaments. And since I dont have a schedule for that Im just avoiding the park overall. A beautiful place that becomes absolutely unnatural once a horde of people enter the scene to play their sport. The issue is that they have multiple disc golf setups throughout the entire park so you cant really escape it. I havent gone back since although I loved it there. Beinging in nature is supposed to be something I like to do in solitude to think and relax myself. That isnt possible with a bunch of loud people playing a game with loud iron chains that clang as a frisbee hits it. Overall, it is a beautiful vista that is being used for the wrong purposes.
