Beautiful, mature course. Downside no turn around at 9 holes. No drink cart on certain days. Lots of traveling between holes. Bring your food, snacks, and drinks. LOL Club bar for members only no cash accepted. Such a beautiful landscape and you can tell the greenskeeper take very good care of the course. I always see one girl working on the course and i just cant believe how hard she works just so we can have a nice course to play on. Also they give you your own golf cart that has a score card and digital map. The entire staff is always very friendly. Tennis available, dining, wedding area, great golf course.

Ashley is hands down the most organized and professional planner. She was so responsive and easy to work with! The food was incredible, I recommend the venue for any event!

Homophobic join the country club for their summer program. The facilities are absolutely fantastic. The staff is equally as good. Ive had some really good drinks there and some good food. At 53 years old Im one of the younger members but most of the people are vibrant and happy to talk.

Went there with my family who are members. Great meal and Great service. The prime rib is fantastic.

Great facilities not pretentious

Visited this club for a wedding. Staff was friendly for the beginning but failed to take care of the brides requests that were planned in advance. The bartender John was EXTREMELY rude to patrons as well as the groom. Highly disrespectful service. Would not recommend

I have not golfed the course but as far as the facilities at the country club and the venue for special events like weddings etc. this place is beautiful! If you are looking for a golf course environment for your wedding there is no place nicer in the Sarasota Bradington area! The food is top notch and the staff is very friendly and accommodating!

Wow truly a place with extremely nice people. Even though this was a tennis competition the opponents for the most part were delightful. Their Capt was wonderful complementing us even while cheering on her team. Great tennis, staff and members.

Played the Highlands course. Layout is fairly wide open, none of the holes are too long, so very accommodating to the average golfer. Only complaint is the signage directing you to hole #10 from #9 is not clear, but we managed to find it. Keep following the signs to the Groves course and you eventually run into Highlands #10. Overall, good experience. Would play again.

Beautiful course. Challenging, long but fair. Well maintained, friendly helpful clubhouse. I purchased a range finder that had issues. They replaced without issue.

The Highlands is a challenging and very nicely landscaped course. There are not so many hazards, water or otherwise, to frustrate the average golfers.Summer pricing is very competitive. The 19th hole (restaurant/bar) is above average.

I have to say the highlands course was not in good shape today. Ive play at this course before and have seen it at its best. Starter was rude and not communicating well at the beginning. This is normally a great spot to play.

I played the Highlands on Wednesday. What a nice golf course and in beautiful condition. The fairways are lush. The greens are in great shape. The cut of the rough provides graceful contours. The GPS equipped carts are a definite plus. If you have never played the Highlands, it is worth a try.

Outstanding club. Members and staff are very helpful and welcoming to all. The tennis facility is truly unique and pros are top-notch. Both private and public golf courses. Great location, check it out!

Google User who lives in the Meadows,It looks like you have not integrated well at the Meadows community or County Club. I play golf and tennis and most people at the Meadows and from other clubs love the tennis courts since they are so unique. If you havent been able to get games in your 19 years at the Meadows, you certainly are an anomaly. Most people know me since I have run many tennis groups, captained many USTA and Senior teams and welcome new members as do many other tennis members. Please contact the tennis pros - they all know me, and well try and get you involved. I also play golf as does Vic (he plays tennis, also). If you are having trouble getting golf games, Vic and I should be able to help with that and get you more involved. I agree with Vic that the wine pairings the club has been having are astounding for the price and the staff do a wonderful job of making the evening special. My wife has been running a Party Animal group at the Meadows for over 10 years in order to get new members acquainted and enjoying the Meadows as much as we do. Contact anyone in the front office and they can get you setup on the Party Animal list so you can meet other members. We got rained out last Sunday at the golf outing but had a great time with a fine DJ and food in the Regency Room. Best of all were the 40 somethings twisting on the dance floor along with the 70 somethings. The generations melded well. The Meadows Course was in excellent shape. Again, you can contact anyone at the Meadows staff and we can meet and get you more involved. I know the community is showing its age but when my wifes mother died shortly after we moved to Sarasota, she got more phone calls, emails and cards from people in the Meadows than from the place where we lived for 30 years. The community is special and I am sorry you have not experienced it. I hope that improves for you.

Grove is a good course to play challenging for seniors.

My husband and I joined a year ago and could not be happier. We are tennis members and have met so many new friends.The pros are wonderful. The setting is unique with many large oaks giving shade to the har tru courts.

The hours online say open until 6pm, tried to play nine holes and the guy in the proshop locked the door as we walked up to it at 5pm on the dot. Very poor communication on the hours, thanks for wasting my time driving out to the course

Course needs some work. Greens had several bare spots and unevenly cut. T boxes were terrible, no grass. A great and challenging layout.

I wish I could give this place less than one star, most of the staff is beyond incompetent. The country club itself alone looks like its outdated and falling apart...

The course conditions are amazing. It is one of the few courses in Florida that doesnt feel manufactured. The oak canopies are stunning. The staff is extremely attentive.

Its sad to see what the Meadows has become. Billy Casper mgmt treat a loyal employee of over 18 years like a piece of garbage & throw her to the curb. Expect a call from an attorney.

PARK IS COOL

My wife and I played the Highlands. GroupGolfer coupon was supposed to on the Groves, not off to a good start. Pace of play was very, very slow. Considering this was off season, wouldn’t consider going back. Staff very friendly, outside the occasional weed in/on the greens course in fair shape

I take my grandkids to the pool there all the time and they love it and sometimes we order the food there and its really good I give it give stars

Meadows Country Club is a great place. Golf, tennis, dinning, fitness, pool and many fun events.

The prior writer must have had a problem. this is the best bargain in Sarsota to belong to a private country club. I am sure he never went to a wine and dine or the seafood buffet. If you are interested in a non pretentious country club you should explore the Meadows. He compares to Bobby Jones which is a joke. Obviously not a golfer. Probably to cheap to go to dinner in nice dining room.

The absolute WORST place to ever host a wedding. They were extremely rude and ruined my sister’s wedding night. The bar tenders were horrible and they tried to kick us out early when it was paid for longer because they wanted to collect their money and go home. The manager was the worst one of all! He didn’t know how to handle anything and kept changing their reasoning for everything that they did wrong....They called the cops on us for not leaving when we weren’t even supposed to leave yet. The cops came and told them that they were wrong and to party on until we paid. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Best tennis in Sarasota. Great membership, Pros and the courts are in the prettiest setting of any other Club. Highly recommend.

This has been the worst experience in all the years i have been a member at a club. They charge the senior members close to twice the amount as they do new members. They had two 18 whole golf courses for the members when i joined. They have now got one course. The other has gone public, and not doing so well. But the dues keep going up, as well as assessments. This GM is one of the highest paid in florida and has done a terrible job in not only operating the club but keeping the golf courses in good shape. Look elsewhere.
