Looking forward to the next funeral so I can book it here. Gorgeous space.
I have been going there ever since I was a little girl. It is a beautiful park great place for kids to play. Luther Burbank home is across the street.with his garden.I have been going there my whole childhood. And lived across the street so my children are very familiar with the history. I got to know Mrs Burbank and have tea and cookies with her she would tell stories about Mr Burbank. It was a great time in my life.
My son went.
Granted, this is a BEAUTIFUL venue ... BUT ... they claim that they have air conditioning which FAILED during the wedding I attended. I do not suggest you have your event here when the weather is above mildly warm. Also, there is NO kitchen and because we had to have both the front doors and the rear door open, flies became a hassle. If you are the Emcee, from where you stand, you can not hear the volume inside the Hall. Parking is a joke. Altho the manager said there would be two workers, there was only one and He let some people NOT with the wedding party walk thru the area to get into the park. There should be a second room off to the side because theres only one little dressing room for the bride, which cuts off the second bathroom. If you DO decide to use this venue during hot weather, bring two to four HUGE fans.
Beautiful.
