Its a wonderful tranquil space to sit and reflect with a labyrinth, gardens, lawns and benches. The housed and homeless both exist here and they are both ok, if respect is shown on both sides. Help me keep this delightful space clean my loves.

Pretty park, lots of hidden surprises. Great for kids as it has some play areas and cool spots to check out. I would recemmend this place for everyone. You do have to pay for parking, so keep that in mind. However it is centralized and a good spot to park if you want to run around town or grab lunch after the visit to the park! The park is cute and easy to walk, and there are plenty of seating areas too.

We came to visit santa Fe for Fathers day. We walked around town and the overall area is very beautiful and clean. There are also many art installations and well maintained greenery. The railyard park is full of flowers and people and different museums near by. The train comes by often and its cool to see, along with different restaurants. We walked around the farmers market that offered local artisan crafts and healthy food. would definitely come back!

Cool dynamic park with plenty of open space and different things to do. Havent been in a couple years but its a nice place to relax or study or walk your pet or walk around. Plenty of places to sit and contemplate. Great for family and friends. Felt very safe. It was hard for me to find where I was supposed to park at first but I was new to the area at the time.

This was really nice park, in the heart of the railyard. We felt safe and comfortable letting boys play. We come here for the gym, railyard fitness, and the farmers market whenever we are in town. The park itself was very clean, and there were several bday parties in the pavilions. I only saw one jerk not clean up after their dog. There were no homeless either, which is a surprise considering how plentiful they appear to be everywhere else in town.

This park is amazing. Interactive, artistic and one of the most unique experiences in a park. Info about history, flaura and fauna, rocks you can climb, a walking meditation spiral, rope nets, toddler park with spinning features. And my dog loved all of the bushes and trees ;)

Ate at Tomasitas, right by the train station, the first night in Santa Fe. Then, visited the area again for the Farmers Market on Saturday. All our Sunday supper ended up coming from that foray...salad makings, grass-fed meat sausages and herb bread! Plus gifts and other trinkets. Such an open and friendly atmosphere. Also, got to catch an African and Haitian dance class occuring in the performing arts center on the other side of the tracks. We havent stopped talking about it.

Great little park/plaza place that hosts the Santa Fe Farmers Market (delicious) and the Free Summer Concert series. Plenty of shade, interesting industrial architecture in the area.Love this place.

Saw a free concert in the park and it was fun. We took the train from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and when we got off at 2 pm all of the little shops and galleries were closing down at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. We found a restaurant for dinner, but we wanted to see the art and different shops in the area since we were on foot. Sad.

This park has wonderful grassy areas, a Rose garden and a childrens play area. It also has a few picnic tables and barbeques. They have public restrooms that arent always open also. In the summer they have movie nights shown on an outdoor screen for everyone. The park is mostly quiet and a good place to relax and take walks. A word of caution: the homeless sometimes sleep there and you will encounter them at times.

Really gorgeous place, so much going on. They have a farmers market on certain days, art festivals on other days. The park around is really well done, there is some parking I think they should put more. Only bad thing was we went to a baby shower in the community room. It was super tiny, also even though the host paid to have the party there they made all party goers pay for parking. This was ridiculous. But other than that it is a wonder place to visit. Lots of great food places close by, all walking distance. Also walking distance to downtown Santa Fe.

Railyard Park is located at a busy transportation junction in Santa Fe, and as a result, it can be busy with one of the many Railyard events or relatively empty. You can enjoy concerts or special events here seasonally, or even watch movies in the park evenings during the summer. Because it is located next to SITE Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Farmers Market, there are often events spilling over into the park with booths by local artists on weekends, or sometimes free concerts occurring on the sloped grass. It is a great rental for special events. The Rail Trail bike trail passes right next to it, and conveniently now you can ride directly under the busy intersection of Cerrillos and St. Francis roads. There are various sculptures and benches, allowing one to read or sit out of the way. There is a nice playground here too, with shade from larger trees. Nowhere in Santa Fe is sketchy, but because the park is located at one of the biggest traffic intersections in Santa Fe, and likely due to the semi-isolated areas with benches and shade, there can be transient or possibly homeless people here at times. It isnt something which should discourage you from visiting, but as a result, it has slightly a more urban or metropolitan feel than other Santa Fe parks.

We had a family reunion/birthday party for 20 at this community center. It had the feeling of an indoor picnic. The doors rolled up on both sides of us giving a gazebo feel to the room. Very basic, garage feel to it but all decorated, it was fantastic. Tables and chairs available in the room and bathrooms adjacent. Perfect for gatherings. Great area/park surrounding for family group photos.

Easily my favorite area of town. The plaza is more for tourists but the railyard is more for locals which gives it a better vibe. The park itself is beautiful, with a great walking/running/bike path, a well-manicured lawn, and beautiful plants throughout. Like most parks, I wouldnt recommend it late at night, as there have been a couple of encounters with drug usage and people who are high on serious drugs that can be belligerent.

Ka
Review №81

While its a nice place to walk around, the childrens play area could use some updating. Some of the slides are broken and theres not much else. We would love to see the splash pad updated and running for the kids, and maybe another sand water play feature. As hot as it gets in the summer, its hard to believe theres nothing like it in the city.
