An amazing play area for kids. There is the basketball court. Restrooms. Great view to the boardwalk. A little weird having apartments so close to the playground, because you never know who is watching from a hidden distance. Stay safe and watch out for freaks.
Always a nice peaceful stop to get a few shots of the Boardwalk.
Funky neighborhood park with lots of grass areas, good place to bring a to go lunch with Covid.
Great little park that is in the middle of a few different parts of the city. You can access it from the river walk near the boardwalk, from East Cliff Drive, or from the nearby neighborhood. Theres a good field area for sitting in the sun or playing with your dog, a basketball hoom, some trails through the forest, and benches with good views, but the standout feature is definitely the large slides in the back of the park that are taller than any slide you would find in a normal park
Nice little park with a view of the boardwalk and ocean in the distance. Place to bring your dogs or family and have a picnic. There are a few tables around and a small green space to hang out.
Great views, wonderful playground with slides and picnic tables
This is a fun park, with a great view of the boardwalk and the ocean. It’s built on a hill, so there are some great, long slides. A few smaller play structures for little kids, and some cool climbing and play areas for bigger kids. They also have a grass area that is an off-leash dog park.
Playground area is still closed but brought some tacos and a quesadilla for lunch. Sitting on the bench was quite pleasant.
Theres a cool tree
Nice. Ate dinner with my family there.
Love this park for dog walking
Lots for the kids !Off leash dog park, with no fence.Be careful on the trail on the far end of the dog park that goes around it down to San Lorenzo side, found transient litter, including but not limited to drug paraphernalia, & pins from clothing security sensors.Someone from the city is out to clean the park every morning, or I am sure it would be alot worse, being close to the levee and all. I have personally alerted them of the problem got spots so they can keep a diligent eye on it.
Less than good.... Nice walk but not really a park to relax and spend time in as a visitor
Quiet, dog and family friendly park with a view of the ocean and Santa cruz boardwalk. Has basketball court, bathrooms and a childrens playground. The park is centrally located and there are a few directions to walk and explore nearby neighborhoods from here.
The slides are fun and the park is well keep up by the city
Those two big slides As for the three, our kids love to claim it and the wiew just magical.
Fun clean park with a great view of the Boardwalk and the ocean. Has had an issue with junkies sitting in their cars getting high in the past though its gotten better with increased patrols.
Enjoying taking my grandkids to this park. They loved it and I felt safe there. The view of the boardwalk was wonderful. I found it in good condition and relatively clean.
Love this park. Its on a good quiet street. Clean.patrolled. the famous 2 long slides.make sude to bring cardboard or wax paper so the kids or yourself can go down the big slides fast.
Nice place
Always a fun place to bring my kids! Lets not forget to mention all the beautiful restored victorian homes on this street
Beautiful view of the boardwalk, played with my dog off leash (everyone else did too, though its not a designated dog park) and nobody seemed to mind. Nice paths for walking and a great play area for kids. This park is a great little gem youd never find unless you went looking for it.
A fun park for kids of all ages and a view of the Boardwalk!
Pretty park, lots to do for children, good views.
My kids loved all the play structures and running around with lots of room
Really nice park family vibes kids love it.. the big slides are awesome.. and the climbing tree...
Most peaceful place in Santa Cruz if you want ALONE TIME
Clean and beautiful! Playground for kids and have seen many walking dogs.
Good view of the boardwalk and beach, good slides, jungle gym is big.
Awesome park
Great park with a view of the beach front boardwalk. Washrooms were nice and clean and lots of slides for the kids.
Nice park, great slides for older kids. I didnt know there was a view of the Boardwalk until today. I was sad that the restroom said closed due to vandalism I just dont understand destructive people.
Nice park with slides, play structures a half basketball court, lawn area picnic tables and bathrooms.
Nice neighborhood park with great kids playground, picnic tables, big trees, and a large open lawn where morning tail chi happens, bluegrass and ukulele clubs meet to practice, and dogs play fetch. Also has a great view of the mouth of the San Lorenzo River and the Boardwalk. Restroom and drinking fountains open during daytime hours.
Has a unique playground structure and large fields to watch 4th of July Fireworks or just the boardwalk on a cloudless night
Nice small park with playground for kids, basketball court, grass area for dogs off leash, bathroom (closed due to vandalism during my visit), sink, and many benches with nice views. I highly recommend a visit. Dogs and people are very friendly here.
Great park for adults, kids, and dogs. Nice view of beach boardwalk.
Uncrowded great view of the boardwalk and do we ntown
Cute neighborhood park. Great view of the Boardwalk and the San Lorenzo River flowing into the ocean. They have a nice open field where people often play with their dogs, picnic tables, a public bathroom, nice play structures, a basketball court, and lots of tall trees. Family friendly and also a beautiful place to watch the sunset!
Great slides, great view, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk but still walking distance. Cons are there is only street parking and the playground equipment could use some TLC.
Very nice park and playground with view of the boardwalk and plenty of shade
Great place to bring your kids. They have one of the best slides in Santa Cruz
Unique play structure. So many awesome slides!!! Sometimes theres a homeless dude parked at one of the picnic tables, but he stays out of the way and doesnt hassle anyone.
This park has a couple of great climbing trees. My granddaughter is a monkey when it comes to climbing trees. I have some great pictures of her climbing up in the tree that I added to google maps and they are currently showing as the main pictures. There is also good playground equipment with a couple of good long slides. It kept my grandkids happy for a very long time.
Great place for a dog walk or to play ball off the leash with them.
This has the best slide in town! Bring wax paper for it and then see the great views!
Its so lovely I wish I could keep it a secret.
Fun neighborhood park for the kids. Safe neighborhood, beautiful view, and cool slides for everyone. Parking is usually ok, but can be a little tight at times.
You mustvis8t urself
One of the best parks in Santa Cruz!!! Theres usually no homeless around.
This is one of the best little neighborhood parks in all of Santa Cruz. This park is known for the great slides that are unique and pretty old school. Take a sheet of wax paper for riding down the old school metal slides. This park has a nice feel and a nice view of the San Lorenzo river and the Beach Boardwalk.
Beautiful park. Beautiful view of the ocean. Great place for dogs.
Little playground with many slides, monkey bars and swings. Benches around the playground under cypress trees. Nice breeze from ocean.
Great view, plenty of benches, green grass for dogs, should be aware it is not fenced
Great place for dogs
Amazing park! Spent 4 hours here with my 4 kids. Bathrooms close by. So much to do and lots of shade on a sunny day.
Small neighborhood park, but it has lots of great slides for the kids.
Nice little park. Great for children and has a basketball hoop if youre interested in playing.
Great park for kids. Parking is street parking around some crazy large and gingerbread-y looking mansions.
Excellent park for the kids. Lots of room to run around with tons of play structures to slide and climb on. Water fountains, bathrooms, picnic greens, plenty of parking all within walking distance of the boardwalk.
Beautiful dont wanna leave
Great place for kids birthday party! Lots of play equipment, big slides. Walk to view of boardwalk, river and ocean.
I went because search showed it was a dog park. Its dog friendly, but not fenced. I went because I wanted to give my pup time to run off leash. Other than that its not bad for families or walking your dog on leash around the trails.
Great community park, clean, safe during day time hours. Has great slides and anreappy awesome play structure.
Its got a big place structure, a picnic area, trails for walks, and a beautiful meadow with a view of the Beach boardwalk.
Nice place.
Small, accessible, clean.
Lots of slides, off leash for dogs, restrooms, play structure and swings.
Really fun park. I suggest going down the slides with wax paper. There is some guy that lives in the houses next to it that calls the police on anyone who annoys him. So be aware of that.
This is a great park. Lots of slides and swings. Jungle gym. Highly recommended. And somewhat shady. Also has bathrooms.
Cute local park with Ocean Views of course.Kids love the looong slides. Adults love the trees, benches, grass and shade.Stroll through on the 4th Sunday around 1:30pm and hear old style fiddle tunes played live by locals.
Great park for kids that love slides
Such a pretty park in a pretty neighborhood. Bring a piece of cardboard or paper to use the long metal slide.
Overlooks the Boardwalk and the Monterey Bay.Has a couple of nice art installations to class it up.Is well groomed and tidy, for the most part. Some Sundays theres a group of friends who play Irish folk music on traditional instruments. Its tucked in the corner of the Seabright neighborhood and isnt well known by those who arent local.A few of the usual weirdos lingering, but far, far fewer of them than most other places (Ive yet to determine if Im considered one of them when Im observed there by others). And the Magic Unicorn of neighborhood parks: a relatively clean and occasionally open pair of restrooms.Theres rumored to be buried treasure and a leprechaun both residing somewhere on the premises. Just sayin...
Cool hidden park.. great olace for the kiddos . They loved the playground and big slides
This is the best park.
Great park for kids and adults. Picnic areas. They have swing and slides for big big children and adults. They also have swings and slides for little ones too!!!!! Great park for walking to the yahyt harbor and to the broadwalk.
My favorite dog park because of the seating available for humans (some benches in the shade) and for good views of the river and the Boardwalk.
Great play structures, shade in some areas. Minimumal street parking, bathrooms but homeless people use them. Great viewss of the boardwalk. Basketball court
Very nice park with lots of slides and play equipment for the kids. Also includes a dog play area.
Fun basketball court
Great place to be mellow and watch your kids.
Great spot to walk
Really nice park! Really quiet and peaceful!
Beautiful garden along the steep hill. Nice view of the ocean from behind the river and boardwalk.
Smallish park for locals. Nice kids playground, basketball and restrooms. Outstanding view from the bluff.
Only three stars because of the vagrants that lurk along its borders. They have never bothered us, b u t one morning we arrived early to play with our dogs in the off leash area and were advised that the park service is quick to scour the bathroom for discarded needles and other drug use trash as soon as possible every morning. Once we observed a drug deal go down on the path along the childs play area. Three stars instead of one because in spite of the blight, it’s a clean, well maintained park at the end of a lovely residential street lined with Victrian homes with a great playground, large slides, and a small grassy dog park with views of the San Lorenzo River, the Boardwalk, and the Monterey Bay. Families continue to visit and hold parties at the park picnic tables and paly area.
A great park, parking can be a little tricky.
GREAT memories of this park. So much fun.
Fun park big slide
Nice park, and I miss the giant swings.
Best slides ever! My three year old is in heaven.
Cute little seaside park with a view. Hidden away but worth checking out.
Nice dog friendly place to visit.
Always pleasant,my children and I enjoy walking there from our home. We enjoy the playground, the nice views and the dogs playing in the field.
