This is a fantastic little park. They really pack a lot of great stuff in a relatively small space, and it is well laid out so it still feels spacious. There are two great playgrounds for children of various ages, basketball court, picnic area, lawn, and benches. There was even a friendly groundskeeper one time when I went. The park is well looked after.

We like it here but homeless people camp out here. Most of them harmless but the occasional altered one or broken car window make the place seem less safe.

This park is on the site of Garfield School. I attended it in the early 60s and it only had 4 classrooms, so they had morning and afternoon classes. I went there one year and they opened Natural Bridges.
