This was the best venue for the buck. The staff were super helpful. We loved the assistance and the hospitality. We had plenty of time to set up for the ceremony, and Cathy was awesome to help us whenever needed. The ambiance was beautiful and the wine was excellent!

Lovely urban wine tasting. Outside patio with knowledgeable staff. We are big red snobs, and this place delivered. Disregard the crazy names of the wine and just enjoy.

My wife and I loved stopping here. Christine the tasting room manager was great and very friendly and knowledgeable. The outside deck was clean and wonderful and there was a slight breeze. We had the mixed flight and ending up buying Sauvignon Blanc, Sparkling rosé (our favorite!) and a case of rosé.

We are wine club members and live within walking distance. We love to go over in the late afternoon for a glass of wine after work and bring our friends. John and Maren are wonderful and they have great wine which is a plus Thank you all for being awesome!

One of our favorite wineries! This place is a tasting room where they also throw events. The staff is run by the owners and they are very friendly. Cannot recommend this place enough! Try their flights (very generous) and their food (chocolate covered coffee beans are amazing).

Excellent wines, excellent staff, always a pleasure to come to MJA. Marin, John, Ford, all the folks always take the time to really talk about what they are pouring in a way that is unpretentious and always educational. I love the nicknames - Hotflash, Still Horny - the sense of humor and the Aloha spirit is everywhere. These folks work really hard to create an excellent product and an excellent experience. Movie nights are super fun, often there is live music, and we always meet the most interesting and intelligent people. Their tasting room on the summit also rocks!

Best wine and best wine tasting service in Santa Cruz.

My 3 friends and I stopped by MJA Vineyards yesterday and had a fantastic wine-tasting experience. The wines were great, the atmosphere relaxing, and John who poured our tastings was very knowledgeable, fun, and despite being busy, very attentive. Definitely feel the Aloha spirit here. We will be back and will tell our friends :)

Cool little wine tasting room, with the owner and his son running most of the tastings here. Very friendly, very knowledgeable. Glad we stopped by. Also, on a side note, the coffee they sell (from their family farm in Kona) is very good, despite the high price.

I love MJA. Took my parents here when they came to visit and Mackenzie was super friendly, charming and overall a great host for our table. My parents loved it, and I continue going back!

MJA Vineyards make some of the best Bordeaux style wines in California. MJA focuses on Reds with up 17 red wines on the menu. I recommend visiting MJA via an uber or lyft so that you can enjoy the full line up MJAs wine tasting. Beware, you will leave with bottles and likely a wine club membership because MJA wine is AMAZING.

Went here once. Was completely ignored by staff. Stood around waiting asked a couple people how do I go about doing a tasting. 15 minutes of no help I left. Thought it was because of the way I looked or something? Even though I had hundred dollar bills in my pocket.

Experience a cross of northern California with the Big island here, where in addition to sampling some great wines that go down smooth, you can taste some hawaiian chocolates, nuts and coffee while feeling welcomed by the staffs aloha spirit.
