Great little kids playground with fenced area to let them roam out of arms reach. Also seems like a nice dog park with separate large and small dog areas, big kid playground, sand volleyball court with still plenty of green space for picnics, laying out, etc. Access to paved trail that parallels the harbor. The only downside is parking is limited to street parking and is pretty scarce.

Love this place b. We skated that lil bowl. And then it was covered then unearthed or rebuilt. Were talking 40+ years ago.

Great park. Fenced dog area divided for big and little dogs. Walking acces to Santa Cruz Harbor. Parking is a problem however as its sometimes difficult to find a spot.

Great dogs, great people, great space, our little dog even felt safe with the big dogsIm knocking my review down one star because of one person and I would be really interested to see how many of you have had an encounter with her and her dog Tucker as well....Were new to the seabright area since December have been coming here with no problems with our 60 plus pound Siberian husky...And even our small 10 lb toy poodle, live in mother-in-laws support animal...Today we walked in with a new addition to our family a 4-month-old German Shepherd pup, This was his first time in the dog park! We were excited! And to be honest with you hes more of a luv bug then our other two! So we anticipated no problems!Well as he first trotted to the park and the dog pictured above, as named Tucker bit him in the face! This was in the big dog area, and Tucker was a little dog first of all.Second of all to which the owner replied my dog is not friendly, You may want to keep your dog away from mineIm sorry did I not just walk into a dog park? If your dog is the unfriendly one isnt it the one that should be leaving? She takes up a corner with her dog Tucker and everybody else stays away from them. This is apparently the norm! And we were not aware?!Are there any actions that have been taken so far to try to remove this aggressive dog from returning to the dog park and spoiling everybody elses experience?!? Thoughts

Great park, for people and dogs. bbq pits in the back and restrooms on the side. The dog park portion has a side for big dogs and small dogs, some times there are no bags so remember to bring your own.

I really enjoy how this dog park has two separate sections,one for small dogs and one for big dogs. The other part thats totally awesome is its on grass instead of dirt or wood chips.

Great dog park split into two different sections: large dogs and small dogs. There is water available in big white buckets around the space, usually a couple toys left hanging around, and a big space to run around. Some benches and chairs are available for humans, and an umbrella and trees provide shade for both when needed. There are also a couple trash cans to do your civic DOODIE and pick up after your pooch :PThe park is dirt and grass, so during the rainy season it can be closed off for anywhere between a day or two to a few weeks. If its closed Id recommend walking your dog to the harbor, lighthouse, and back for a beautiful view while you exercise your pup! There are stairs leading down to the harbor outside the shady portion of the parks fencing.

The park started off great but the park in general has a drainage problem. The dog parks could rectify this with more/better wood chips.

Nice medium sized dog park, divided into a small and large dog sections. Good grass coverage and low numbers of weeds. Ample water and several entrances. Bring your own poo bags as the supply is community driven and can be lacking. Bathrooms on site are clean and well maintained. Parking is very limited.

They have grills, and right next to the harbor, so you can check out the boats while your cooking and the kids ( if you have em) can playing on the playground or watching the dogs play. And no worries, they have bathrooms.

This park used to have a top notch playground, but those days are past. I guess the fun play areas are no longer allowed because of liability. Everything is very safe and boring now. It does have a wonderful enclosed dog area but nasty people from the local neighborhood act like youre intruding on their private park. Nice picnic areas at the far back left. There are grills for barbecuing if you bring charcoal. Trails lead down to the harbor. I would like to rate this much higher, but the neighborhood crowd really diminishes the amenities.

Nice dog park. Friendly owners and dogs, however missing waste bags in the dispensers during this particular visit. There is an adequate amount of space for dogs to run, as well as a small and large dog section.

Large dogs walk through small dogs side to get to large dog side and the gate separating the large dog side from small dog side the small dogs can walk under it to the large dog side. Ok with some, unfortunately unable to be ok with others.

Nice little spot as long as people clean up after their dogs. Disposal bags are not readily available all the time so you might need to bring your own please do I like to bring my son here and play Frisbee with the dog and nothings worse than stepped in a warm squishy pile a dog do except when its not your dog thats whats worse. But this is a nice place

Clean, shaded and comfy chairs for pet owners. Pet owners were friendly, and appeared to be friends. Dogs are well-behaved, and well socialized. Loved the variety of breeds, sizes and maturity of dogs. Great place for everyone.

Decently sized dog park with grass and shade. Adjoining grassy area and play equipment for small humans and others. Lovely walk from the rear of the park down to the back of the marina. Note: no connecting road between the two and only street parking for the former.

My favorite dog park in the area, this place is safe and secure. The people are nice and they control their already generally well-behaved dogs accordingly in my experience. I have a small dog, and she always loves running with big dogs here. Also a nice park with clean restroom next to it.

Great park with two playgrounds geared toward different-aged kids. The playground for little kids is fenced in, as is the dog park. We have picnicked here on a few occasions, and we have also attended events here, which the space accommodates nicely.

Great place to bring your dog, picknick, or bring the little ones to the playground. There sand volleyball court and a small skatepark. The skatepark consists of a snake run and is one of the oldest in Santa Cruz. You can also walk down to the harbor from behind the picknick area.

Dog park Is large, grassy and fenced field with shade and water. IMHO, the finest dog park in town. Overlooks the harbor. A great park next to dogs’ is for children of all ages.

Its a muddy quagmire it might be alright if they turned the sprinklers off when it rains instead of closing it down all the time but someone would have to have to have a brain .! !

A good park for lots of different groups. The playground is devices into areas fire younger and older children, there is a large open field, and a big dog park area. There are even some nice shaded picnic tables with grills.

I like coming here to let our dog play with others. My wife finds many of the other dog owners to insular or quirky to put up with. I dont notice that as the dogs are having so much fun.The playground is separate from the dog area and my kids especially enjoy the simple skateboarding area.

Keep on mind there is no designated parking here, so that can be challenging if your planning an event with many people. Otherwise it is a small but clean park with a fenced off area for dogs. There are also picnic tables and BBQ pits.

I love this park. Big field, trees that provide some shade, sms nice benches to sit on. The play structures are in great condition and everythings clean. Even the bathrooms! Theres also a small skate area, a volleyball court, and a sizeable dog park area. My son love going here!

THEY HAVE 2 DOG PARKS!!

Its perfect for dogs but not always are they on leashes. Dogs running around will scare the little ones and thats our experience.

A rare off leash dog park, with childrens playground as well, easy walk down the stairs to The Yacht Harbor and to Aldos restaurant.

This place is great. just be aware some people dont understand kids shouldnt play in the dog park. Kid had his pant leg bitten while sprinting into the park. Father kicked the dog and started at the owner that was a very kind lady. He starts in by calling her horrific names. crazy how peaceful a place can be then in seconds turns into a war zone for whos right and wrong.

This is a cute neighborhood park right near the marina. It has grills, bathrooms, a playground, and plenty of space for dogs and people alike. It is the perfect location for our Sunday group kickball and random BBQs.
