A big giant fig tree next to the train station. There is nothing to it besides the train station and tons and tons of homeless people. You can smell the urine in the area and they hand their clothes on top of the tree so it can be tricky to take photos with the tree. It still worth 3 stats coz the fig tree is really huge and it is still amazing to see such a huge fig tree.

Freaking FANTASTIC!!! Craziest freak of nature tree Ive ever seen, branches as thick as a tree trunk & a trunk the size of three. This thing stands on a historic spot where some Spanish conquistador camped 200 years ago, but the tree is cooler than all that. Just stand under the thing, it left me in awe.

This is one impressive tree! Really impressive. Different sources call it the biggest, as say it is on the National Register of Big Trees. Well I do my research and have been unable to locate this tree on national registers. Never trust everything you read on the web. So after some digging I find a Moreton Bay Fig in San Diego that is taller. This particular registry calls the Santa Barbara tree the one with the largest canopy. The national registrys are typically for native North American trees. The Moreton Bay Fig was brought to the US from Easter Australia. So..... What are you going to believe? Who knows? Well I sure dont know for sure. I am sure that this tree is huge, ginormous, really big, impressive and well worthy of a visit when in Santa Barbara. It is very near the Amtrak Station. One big tree for sure!
