I have loved coming to this park~ it has been so convenient for my young son, and it caters a lot to his age range. Love it and love the memories we have made here! Will make this a frequent park to visit!

Well maintained and clean play area for 2 years and up. Not too busy when we were there. Easy parking

Laurie Meadows Park is vast with a large lawn, a lot of picnic tables and barbecues, and a vast array of playground equipment for kids of all ages. It is perfect for soaking up the San Mateo sun, having picnics and parties, and just letting your kids run lose. I rode through the park on my scooter, cutting through it when I was a kid. Like I have said about all parks, this is well maintained and also perfect for dogs. People may or may not know about the park on the other side or actually in the very back of the park; it is over the bridge and is in the adjoining residential area in the back. This back park is smaller with a small playground and a few benches, just so everyone knows. Getting back to the main park, it is great for everyone for every activity and will be there for years to come. Keep up the good work City of San Mateo.!

Lovely, well-maintained, easy-on-parents kind of playground. One entrance, clean structures and soft surfaces. Great!

Lots of playground variety and just the right number of other children to play with.

Great small park for your littles. I do wish it were bigger. Maybe big kid swings. Sand area that kids enjoy. We spend about 2 hours here with my 4&6 yr old. Also Blue bottle coffee near by, fieldworks,& some food. Great space and location. Perfect for littles.

Nice set up and well enjoyed by the neighborhood. Garbage pickup on a holiday Monday (when the park was naturally busy) drove through the path separating the play area from the grass and court. That was odd.

Fun but a little wet on the slides. There also needs more regular swings for bigger kids. There are only two baby swings. In general it is very nice though.

Great place for children. Surprised public restroom closes so early. Some parts of the synthetic turf is already coming apart.

Fabulous enclosed indoor park with basketball court and field right there. Ideal for younger kids.

This park is part of our regular rotation and let me tell you, we know our parks! I love that its totally fenced in and has decent bathrooms. My toddlers love the huge spider web, sandbox, swings and large green area! Itll be crowded once all the construction is finished, but for now its not bad at all! Plus Whole Foods and Starbucks are right around the corner, so its convenient!

This is one of the best-if not the largest parks-in this area. Fences and gated in playgrounds for multiple ages. Decent themes and nice rubberised padding make this park enjoyable for kids and headache-free for parents. Sandbox and a single full length basketball court round out the additional amenities as well as a clean private restroom. 8/10 would play again.

Great enclosed park for preschoolers. Clean bathrooms and lots of grass nearby to run in. Conveniently located near Tin Pot Ice Cream, Blue Bottle Coffee and Roam Burger.

First time going there. Such a great Park!! no tambark!! Playground for 5-12 year olds, small sandbox. Reservable for parties and party section is shaded by a tree. Went in March and warm out. Come summer bring your sunblock

Two sets of play structures for a variety of ages. Theres also a convenient set of tables for birthday parties. Wonderful park!

Nice small community park. Sometimes is difficult to find parking. Only 1 restroom.

Great park! Fun! Only downside, theres a lot of construction around the area surrounding the park, and all of the construction workers park their personal vehicles in the available street parking. Youll circle a few blocks before finding something thats not parking by permit only areas.

Nice playground but there is no lot and street parking is two hours max on weekdays. I always overstay and have never been ticketed. It is fully enclosed which is good for toddlers who like to wonder. I kind of wish the swings were a little farther from the other equipment. Kids are always running past them and nearly getting hit. It is clean and the equipment is nice though and very clean.

Nice local family park. Has a toddler palyground, 5 and up playground, sandbox, bbq pit, restroom, 1/2 court basket ball, and nice grassy field. The people that come here are friendly and the area is kept clean.

Cute place but crowded on weekends.

Great small playground, full fence with a latching gate so kids cant run off. Can get a little crowded at prime hours but usually not too busy. Plentiful street parking, has a small restroom and a water fountain just outside the playground.

Very nice park for young children and even babies. There are 2 play strcutues (different stages), swings, sand box and the bathrooms are right in the park. There is a gate to prevent the young ones from running/wandering off. Also a basketball court for older kids/young adults.

Such a beautiful park that is great for kids. It also features some really interesting jungle gym fixtures that Ive not seen elsewhere before.

New park in the neighborhood. Enclosed gate all round so feel very safe and manageable. Excellent for toddlers and kindergarteners.

Small but very nice park in the neighborhood. It has two play scapes, a sand pit, and a basketball half court.

Great dog park and right-size. It never seems to get too busy or crowded.

Enclosed playground and is built for kids up to 6ish. Older would be bored. Sandpit, swings, toddler play frame, spiderweb climbing frame and older kids play frame. Down stair for lack of shade. It gets hot there.

BBQ grill and jungle gym!
