Quiet, peaceful walk. I appreciated the boardwalk and gravel paths-- no rocks or roots to trip over! Also paths are loops and about .5 mile each. Great for seniors. No bathrooms. Not crowded. The .5 mile dirt road entrance is rough and narrow, but worth it!
Short trails, but easy to follow. Great for an evening walk. Gentle climbs and not too rocky. Close to home, so no real travel time. It is perhaps too short to spend too much time trying to get to it.
Its a cute spot for an afterwork walk, but do not expect any hikes.
It was a cool place hardly anyone there
Nice hiking spsce
A little hard to spot from the road, but once you take the back road behind the apartment buildings to get there its a nice trail. There are shady spots along the path that provided some relief from the summer sun.
Nice, long natural trails. Very clean.
Was able to get a short RV in here. Nice area to park for a bit. There is one large shaded spot overhanging parking.
Beautiful trails and animals
Awesome place to just get away and enjoy the peace of nature.. I highly recommend checking it out
Dont miss the access road as you drive by (its a small dirt/rock road, but theres a wooden sign there). The park is nice and the trails are easy to follow. Bring tough shoes/boots because the ground is very rocky in a lot of places. Dont fall on a prickly pear.
Absolutely beautiful. I needed a peaceful walk like I had there this morning.
Probably the 2nd best place to hike in San Marcos. The terrain varies from dirt trail to rocks. With a few good inclines and declines.
Kind of a hidden park in the San Marcos area because youd probably never stumble across it unless you lived in the buildings adjacent to it.Parking is down a dirt road, and there are five or so trails to choose from including a simple half-mile crushed gravel loop.Trails are well maintained but they often get damaged in heavy rains because the trails double as runoff channels. Overall quiet and fun and worth visiting with the dogs.
I dont give five very often but this trailer was just spotless clean well-maintained lovely shade lovely benches and information was provided it was all around joy to visit the park.
Very small trail but has beautiful views for great picture taking. I enjoyed it!
The trails are very well kept and the flora and fauna are very much alive and well in that area of town. There are trails of varying level of difficulty so you can really get a nice run or walk in and just enjoy the outdoors.
Awesome little hidden trails!
Nice paths, plenty of trails, not a lot of people use/know about it.
Small but good for a short hike. Great place to jog.
Great little park with a few short trails. Varying difficulty and varying landscape makes it really cool.
If you want to go for a quick hike or just enjoy some time outside, this is the place for you!
A few short trails that are a great place for a quick run or dog walk
Awesome park, short trails, sharp rocks so wear good shoes. Take your dog.
Good trails, beautiful nature views. Watch out for snakes.
Great hiking trail
Quiet. Small.
Great park
Sweet little park
