Quiet, peaceful walk. I appreciated the boardwalk and gravel paths-- no rocks or roots to trip over! Also paths are loops and about .5 mile each. Great for seniors. No bathrooms. Not crowded. The .5 mile dirt road entrance is rough and narrow, but worth it!

Great trail for a quiet hike. Lots of loops so you can make it as long or as short of a ride as you want.Rocky, semi-shaded, well-marked paths.

Short trails, but easy to follow. Great for an evening walk. Gentle climbs and not too rocky. Close to home, so no real travel time. It is perhaps too short to spend too much time trying to get to it.

Nice and clean but small compared to all the other trails in town. You could say this is a good thing since its not as crowded. But its beautiful with a cuple off trails that I would be careful exploring.

A little hard to spot from the road, but once you take the back road behind the apartment buildings to get there its a nice trail. There are shady spots along the path that provided some relief from the summer sun.

Dont miss the access road as you drive by (its a small dirt/rock road, but theres a wooden sign there). The park is nice and the trails are easy to follow. Bring tough shoes/boots because the ground is very rocky in a lot of places. Dont fall on a prickly pear.

Probably the 2nd best place to hike in San Marcos. The terrain varies from dirt trail to rocks. With a few good inclines and declines.

Kind of a hidden park in the San Marcos area because youd probably never stumble across it unless you lived in the buildings adjacent to it.Parking is down a dirt road, and there are five or so trails to choose from including a simple half-mile crushed gravel loop.Trails are well maintained but they often get damaged in heavy rains because the trails double as runoff channels. Overall quiet and fun and worth visiting with the dogs.

The trails are very well kept and the flora and fauna are very much alive and well in that area of town. There are trails of varying level of difficulty so you can really get a nice run or walk in and just enjoy the outdoors.
