The people who keep this wonderful place going, are some of the kindest, most loving people Ive ever met.
A wonderful community resource with events ranging from fundraising concerts to partnering with local school district to offer tutoring. Parents can also look into dance or piano lessons offered intermittently. So grateful for this place!
A wonderful piece of San Marcos history. This former South Side School dates back to the days of segregation of both blacks and Hispanics. Now It is being used as a center for local history and culture. It should be preserved and visited by locals and tourists alike.
Centro is always so welcoming and there are tons of events, programs, and classes offered for all ages. Centro es indispensable para la comunidad hispana en San Marcos.
I meant Gloria today. She had excellent customer service and made me feel welcome. Even though they were closed today she took the time to talk to me for a few minutes. I inquired about the Dia de los Muertos celebration on November 2nd. She filled me in with all I needed to know.Im so happy that I finally got to visit this Centro that Ive been trying to visit for a month or so and just couldnt get around to it. Im new to the area. Proud to be part of this rich culture.
