I have been here at least two times. This place is awesome!!! I hope they will open again when it is safe. The last time I was here, it was the best visit BY FAR. I was a member of a private singles group for quite some time. We had a big huge grass area for our group this day. It was so much fun!!! Hadnt been to the waterslides in years!!I hope to go back again some time in the future for sure.
Ok water park. Pool could be cleaner. Wish they had surf wave type of activity. Wave pool is cool, but turns off too quickly in my opinion. Not too crowded. Plenty of slides and water activity to keep the kids busy. There are shaded areas as well. There is re-entry so you could eat out of the park if you dont want to buy the food there. Overall, good times.
I would love to and really appreciate for the management of this park to really make a detailed walkthrough and work little more in maintenance and cleaning of the location. Web spiders show that cleaning hasnt been done properly. And the ball effect reflects in the water that comes to the pool where our children play all they long. Check this out. I was going to ask for my money back. But I prefer not to do it hoping that my support helps to get better. Thank you (pictures attached)
Me and my friends went here and it was a blast!I recommend an even number of people since most rides take 2 people but there are also single people rides as well. The food here is good and also the time it take to go Aon the rides are pretty short. I would go here again and it costs 30.00$ also I think you have to pay for parking as well but Im not really sure.
This is my all time favorite place to come in the summer! It’s fun and the prices are amazing! I hope they get to open up again soon!!
This place has gone down hill. They need more lifeguards, last time we were there half the rides were shut down! Weve been coming here for years. We always get a season pass because we live fairly close to the park and if you go more than once a season pass pays for itself. Youre not allowed to bring food so if you want to bring snacks hide them well. We usually bring a cooler, leave it in the trunk and a picnic blanket and at lunch there is a grassy area with a couple of picnic tables outside the front entrance. Make sure you get your hand stamped so you can get back in
It was fun. I enjoyed it a lot. You just have to show up early because it gets super packed and it gets a little hard to get parking. But otherwise its very enjoyable even my oldest fifteen-year-old had a lot of fun something for everybody.
Great family fun! Gets packed so bring for own chairs. Foods pretty good too. Didnt try the pizza. They seem to have made the wave pool kid friendly with smaller waves but still fun. Season passes are the way to go even if you think youll go twice this season.
Note that there are a few slides that require more than one rider: Great White Shark, Barracuda Blaster, and Dragons Den. These rides use the double floats, so it would most likely be awkward to pair with a stranger. Its not the same as large water rides with 5-person floats. There are extra costs on top of the ticket price to consider. As of this writing (summer 2019), parking is $6. There are three levels of locker rentals: Standard $12, Large $15, and Jumbo $20.
I love this park. The season pass price is amazing and its a great place to cool off on hot summer days. The park is quite rundown though. Definitely needs some TLC, the pools dont appear to be heated at all, and the food is disgusting. I suggest packing your own & having a small picnic in the park. Totally fine for the price but this isnt resort like amenities by any stretch.
This place would have been much better If all the parks components worked. The pirate ship has many areas that kids use to use that cannot function properly without the ropes for the kids to pull, such as the cannonball gun. It fills by a rope being pulled on one side of the structure then flows through a pipe so the children and fire the cannonball. There is not nearly enough tubes to float on for the river causing way to many people to walk inside it and be in the way. The ground gets very hot so I would advise people to bring in water shoes.
It can safely be said to be the largest water in the area. Great water rides and activities for whole family, you can easily spend whole day there. Be sure to be there at the earliest, if you can take mat or chairs along will be good as all the available poolside loungers are taken up very fast as gazibos are pretty expensive to rent.
Food is really bad, if you want hamburger prepare to stay an hour in the line. Park is dated, feel worn. Slides are either for very small kids or 10 and up, no choice for 6-8 years old. Very little shadow, so bring your own umbrella. For the price I would not recommend, there are better deals for water parks in san Jose.
One of the big features of a public theme park is access to food. Raging Waters is a nice family water park. However, the food organization is severely lacking. Choices were fine. My issue is the procedure to wait in 3 separate lines for 3 different items in the same building from the same kitchen. We had prepaid vouches/scans. They need a separate line for prepaid. I complained after waiting in line for pizza that Im am too old to wait in 3 lines. I came to the park to have fun, not wait in line. The young clerks obliged and brought our food to our window. However, the previous person in line had also complained. The manager had to approve her request. Its unnecessary chaos, ill-planned, and a disservice to the patrons.
Its definitely a place thats more or less worth the money, depending on what youre looking for. Youll get a few hours worth of entertainment with the various water attractions, such as the Dragons Den, the Wavepool, and the Endless River; but if youre looking for thrilling rides, Raging Waters is more casual than other water parks out there. The water is a bit dirty as well, so I recommend a good pair of goggles alongside your usual gear.
Amazing place to bring your kids! The park is more focused on kid enjoyment rather than large sides for adults but there are enough for adults to enjoy. Bring sunscreen!
I’ve been to raging waters a few times this year, most of these times took place in the summer. I likes the overall appearance of the aquatic park and I also liked the fact that they had a variety of water slides. In my last visit, I was a little disappointed with the fact that the wave pool was partially closed, meaning that you could only access one part of it.
My family enjoyed our day here. Its a smaller water park so my older kids went off on the slides and I hung out with my hubby n 5yr old in the kiddie areas. They always found us quickly. They have lockers for your stuff and lots of over priced food. Lifeguards every where theyre pretty friendly. We enjoyed our visit.
It was fun for the entire family, all the water slides were really fun but I do have a complaint me and my family had to be there early just to find some shade and it was really difficult because of all the people. In the end we found some shade but we constantly had to move the chairs when we wanted shade and when we wanted to rest there wasnt enough shade for everyone so I would suggest bigger umbrellas.
Feels expensive to get into considering it only has like 9 real rides. The rest of it is play parks, a rather week wave pool and a lazy river. Food options are pretty week and just like any theme park youll spend 90% of your time in line if you go during peak hours, so get there early to enjoy at least a couple hours
Lots of parking. Easy to get to. The park is BIG. Because of the line for the water ride, only got to do 1 park (I believe theres the pirate and the other side too - towards the parking lot). The kiddie tide (have a baby/toddler) whos just recently start liking water was at the kiddie area...it was salty...meaning lots of pee and sunscreen. Not good! Adults can swim in the kiddie area too since need to accompany by kiddos. The water height at kiddie pool is 1 1/2 feet deep. The next door pool for toddler/preteen is 4 feet. Didnt go there so I cant review. Overall it was a fun water ride, just disappointed with the water quality. It could use some improvement. Oh and though some patron already leaving shoes outside pool, please be stringent about this policy as a courtesy. Water shoe should not allowed inside the pool too as this can be a potentially liability issue for you in case those water shoe brings in sharp object inside the pool. The bathroom changing curtains also needs improvement. Please put some hooks at the rinse area so theres a place to hang a bag or towel Oh since most of your patron are kids (if there are kids, guarantee therell be adult) so please try to get some HOT water at the rinse station. My babys lips turned blue because water was so cold. Oh lots of area that has no shade so I recommend bringing umbrellas and mat/beach towels if not planning in renting a cabana or tent.
The rides are fun for the adults the offerings for the kids are pretty good but the main kids location 90% of the interactives on the water platform are damaged broken or not working. They must have been short on staff the day we went because there were limited staff on rides which made the rides longer. And most of the food locations were closed. We were there most of the day and the short staff and limited food offerings worthy entire day. The staff that we did encounter were nice and informative of the rides and the safety rules
It fun for all kids big and small, they have rides for everyone. They also have a Little Dipper area for small children and infants. Lifeguards are amazing and help you with anything. Love this place.
Fun but smaller than I expected from the pictures. Also like 6 slides were closed they said because of staffing. Im not mad about that Im mad they charged full price knowing they werent going to offer those slides.
Super fun. But when they opened the Pirate Ship and Wave Pool were out of order, the Wave Pool ended up being closed all day. There was also a shortage of rafts. I get they might need to do maintenance, but this was a Saturday at the end of their season, so it had been closed all week. No reason stuff shouldnt be working, they had 5 days to do repairs and properly inflate the rafts/tubes.It was a nice day, but more care on the parks part would have made it way better. I went earlier in the season and didnt have these issues. Keep it consistent guys.
Really fun slides, great for people of all ages. There is an area for little kids, with an area to put your stuff nearby. I love this place, definitely would recommend.
Best place ever. Kids have so much fun here. The staff is great and the security was so helpful
Love this place. Aside from 16 year old lifeguards thinking they can basically do and say what they want its a great park. Safety can be mixed with friendliness, hospitality AND customer service.
I havent been to raging waters in over 20yrs. Today, i joined my lovely wife and kids and i was having fun just like our kids were. In glad to have been invited and happy i went. The staff was very professional for been young adults. WE HAVE SEASON PASSES. So well be there again and again.
Its really fun place for small kids and young kids. They have nice picnic place as well as big lake and park. Loved it.
We visiting raging waters last year. The place is really awesome. I am just glad to have this in bay area, its in the city and very well maintained and awe some times. We have got season passes for raging waters this year. Definitely recommended.
A good theme park for those who enjoy water slides. Not in the best location in bay area. Also very little shade inside the park for those who want to relax from scorching sun
Everyone is so friendly. No drama or trouble really at all. If there was an incident, security is pretty quick on their feet.
Still as fun as I remember. Go early to skip the lines and then spend the rest of the day in the lazy river or wave pool. Bring cash for food and parking. Sun block every hour. Dont wear jewelry or anything that can come flying off.
Its been about 20 years since I have been at Raging Waters. The place seemed rather run down on the structures and wood steps. The staff and lifeguards were great but all the money they get should be put back into the maintenence and looks of the structures. The wave pool did not appear to be working and we were hanging out there for quite awhile but never saw it go on. They should be using money for better shaded areas as well. The park was open only until 5pm. Thats rather early especially for summer time and it doesnt start to get dark for a few hours later.
It was fun and stuff, nice slides but the life guards were not doing their duty. But otherwise fun!
Great place to come and have a lot of fun in the water with the kids. We do get a season pass every year. The food lines (1 hour later) and options have to be better. I understand we cant bring in your own food but you guys need to provide bettet selection of food. Everything is fryed. the food court received a yellow health conditional notice not even green passing, which means they health violation.
I went primarily to take the kids to the wave pool. It was broken. Things break, just a bit disappointing. The Lazy River was fun except they did not have nearly enough rafts.Lots of the valves appeared not to work on the childrens water features including the water guns.It was a really good time and a blast for the kids. My only concern is that most of the issues, broken valves/not nearly enough rafts, seem trivially easy to fix yet they were not.
My kids loved it. Fun time in the little pools they should add more shaded sitting areas.
Very good water park and kids have lots of fun. If park entrance sign can be more clear to first timer, it would be very helpful.
Not perfect, but a nice, low key water park. My 13 and 9 year old had a good time.
It is really fun. If you have children, they will love it. Food is a little pricey, though.
Kids had a good time here. The season pass counter was having only 1 staff and we had to wait for like 45 minutes to have the photo taken and to get a season pass, that was the only boring part but overall it was fun visiting this place.
This park needs to be updated a bit. My daughter, husband and mother got on a water slide and all hurt themselves in the same spot because it was impossible to stay on the mats provided on that water slide. Also, we waited in line for an hour and a half for food. The line was not long there was just not enough help. The order taking is not efficient and left all of us with a headache. When we got to the window we basically had to beg for condiments because they were very low and only wanted to ration them to paying customers which is odd. Will only go back if I’m desperate.
Super fun, family orientated place. Lots to do for kids and a great place to relax for the adults. Great price as well.
Had a fun time with my little family. Just a suggestion though. Cameras should be installed at the lower levels or blind spots of the slides. My husband and daughter flipped over. They were ok thankfully but if another group had come it could have been fatal. They saw another group flip as well and another group came speeding by. To avoid future accidents this would help tremendously. Also this could capture many fun moments on the slide. We had a lot of fun! The Torres-Schley Family
To start, Raging Waters was the best water park Ive been to out of all the waters parks Ive been to. The lifeguards are really hard workers. They always make the environment safer at Raging Waters. The food is great, and the rides are safe too. The wave pool is also very safe, I like how they put lifejackets on the fence so others can grab one. I would say Raging Waters is an A-ok place to go to.
I have been coming here all summer and they don’t have coffee, every time I ask for coffee their answer is we run out of coffee. They don’t let people to bring anything inside but they don’t provide things that people usually ask for.
Took the family there to enjoy the water slides and rides. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves!
Its a great water park, lots of different rides. Waiting time for rides is reasonable during the week. Food service thought needs improvement for both quality and waiting time. Over all we enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again.
Great fun for all ages! Only downside is you cant bring your own food insideinside. Food choices arent very healthy and if you have a restricted diet, good luck!
This place is great for a hot day. Ive always loved it as a kid and as an adult it is equally fun.. My only complaint it the concrete it is just horrible to walk on barefooted. Other than that slides are a blast and the river is relaxing.
The slides are fun, but the wait is not worth the time spent in line. A little of the rides have two slides however, the only utilize one at a time. Most rides it is about 30 seconds between when a person goes and then the next can go. When you got a line of 50 people that is long. When there is 100 people forget it. You spend too much of your time in line and hardly get down a slide. I understand thats how a amusement parks work however, the lines here are not as long as the ones at a amusement park with rollercoaster and you wait longer.
Enjoyed the rides. Great family fun Food prices too high
Its a very fun place for little kids mostly. But I had fun with my friend, few slides were for adults as well.
Super fun for the whole family with rides fitting for the little ones and the older ones, not overcrowded, lines move quickly, staff are very nice
I really, really enjoy the waves, always fine friendly people including kids that adopt me and call me aunt...lol.
Havent been in about 20 years, got to take my lil daughter for her first time. It was fun in the sun. Nice to have something like that in the area. Would be nice to bring food in to picnic. But theres food to choose from to buy. Be bk soon.
DANGEROUS. Untrained life guards, dirty, busy, unorganized and most rides closed. On the snake slide ride at least two girls hit their head on the left most green slide because there is a huge dent in it and they came down almost in tears holding their heads, but the life guard just told them to move on and didnt even communicate with the one up there not to send any more kids down that slide! I was really scared when I saw that while waiting in the line.A lot of rides were closed. The bomb away one that I went here for included. I was really disappointed. I spent four hours in the park without even a snack break but got to only get on four rides. Thats how busy and unorganized they are and how few rides they have.Kids would slide down the slides and stay in the pool and the next kid would slide on top and the life guard sitting there was just looking at the skies. I told them to move out of the way for the next person, but the life guards basically did nothing. They should just close down this park. Wish I had checked yelp before I went.
Very shabby and unclean. Should close down now. Water is very dirty. The wave pool is not working and somethings are even rusted. The options are very limited for food. Maybe weekends are ok. But week days nothing other than pizza.
This place is great fun. You can bring your own water in but no other food or beverages.
A good selection of flumes and chutes suitable for all age ranges.
Its a fun water park with great security and enough rides to keep the kids happy
Had a great time there with my son just the line for the slides took to long.
So far we enjoyed our first visit. One star down for they not having labels above the lockers to know in which of the several locker stations is yours after being prompted by the machine
Good place for kids. Service can be better. Not very organized.
The employees are inept, excluding the lifeguards, who seemed to take their jobs seriously. If you want food, expect a 45 min wait for cardboard pizza and microwaved chicken. Then expect to have nowhere to eat it because the seats that are supposed to be a max of 30 mins for diners are camped by people for the entire day, and no one enforces the eat and move rule. Basically it seems like there is no management or business plan that goes beyond gauging people for as much money as possible, while providing zero customer service.
Hi I think this is one of the best swimming pools for the family I went twice in a week.
Friendly staff, great water slides for ages 4 to adults...food could use a rescue and maybe a wine and beer section?
The lines for food are ridiculous... I took one hour to get to the window for pizza. The rest was fine and fun
This place needs a lot of work and training on how to provide with a smile in order to keep your customers happy throughout their entire stay. The fine print dictates they are not liable for any injuries while there whatsoever, yet the concrete is NOT slip resistant and you can fall very easily. Also, a lot of their rides and stairs are super old and need severe maintenance. But, this place is still very fun. I always leave exhausted with a smile
High price > 150$ for family of 4 pretty run down rusty nails sticking out on stairs, long lines for rides and food. Overall disappointed, wont come back !
Raging waters is always a great place to bring the family to have some fun, but DO NOT rent out the tiki area for a private event.First off, calling it the tiki area is a total joke. It is nothing but benches under an overhang with a soda machine. The food came out 30 minutes late but was purely disgusting. The soda machines were pouring out ants so we literally could not even drink anything unless we brought it from home. And I mean it was actually mounds of ants coming out of the machine when we pushed the button. We had a company trip of 50 people and will never utilize this service again as it was a sheer letdownWe are trying to get our money back but it doesnt look promising as raging waters is fighting us on it.The rest of the visit was great and we had a good time in the water.
Fun for kids of all ages . You have to get there early to get a good spot especially on the weekends . Weekdays are better if you are able to go then.
Good place to come and refresh. Come early in the morning to find parking space and chair to sit at.
Awesome, my teenage daughter love it
Awsome fun place to take kids
Celebrated my 11 year old bday...she loved it
Huge place and a lot of fun. Only downside for the family was the wait time. If your going get here early and stay the day
So much fun. But pack a cooler and leave in the car because they do not allow outside food in. Food options are very greasy and fatty and not healthy for children nor adults. The grassy area has lots of bird feces and stickers were people are getting poked constantly. Other than that it is a great place to go
Great place for the whole family. Great on hot days
Bought the family season passes this summer and we went on average once to twice a week. Great way to beat the heat! Have a ton of slides to choose from and multiple kid areas and pools. The endless river is a must! And their pineapple Dole whips are delicious!
