Very nice park with steep trails. Be aware that it’s very hot and there aren’t many shaded areas so plan ahead. There was a trail that promises “springs” at the end of it, I could never locate those springs so don’t waste your time looking for it as it doesn’t exist. Besides that, ample parking and a nice picnic area as well. Definitely a nice spot to spend the evening.

We took our dog to go play at the park today as well as have a picnic lunch. It was hot but in the shade from the tree it was very nice! The park was clean. I actually, now that Im thinking about it, did not see one piece of litter on the ground which is not an easy thing to do Im sure!

Love this park. Has alot of grass space to play soccer and for kids to run around.

Nice park to take the dogs or do some yoga. There is a large grass field and a small playground for the kids. Park is surrounded by apartments. Great place for a play date!

Nice local park. Fairly clean. Never been inside the bathrooms. There is parking in the back near a playground. Not a lot of shade.

Easy going park where Lot of families bring their kids. Enough small spots for shade to lay a blanket, or bring a chair and watch the soccer game.The main grilling space can be reserved of you go online, otherwise first come first serve. More BBQ grills and tables towards the back of the park near the tennis court.Enough grassy areas for playing or pinicing.

Many people smoke heavily inside the park or at the parking lot (still inside the park). Every time I was there and there was someone smoking. As a non-smoker, I couldn’t stand with this smelling and I had headache and nauseous after inhaling. Tonight someone was smoking cigars and all over the kid’s playground was full of cigar smelly. I was doing exercise and needed to inhale deeply that was disgusting and unhealthy. It’s dangerous for me to stop a stranger smoking so that I didn’t stop them. Can any department of this park control this problem?

Good amount of parking. Relatively clean. Activities for 8 and under.

The park is well kept with a playground for the kids and picnic tables. Their is also two large soccer fields. One open to the public at all hours and the second is gated and locked for sports teams only.Their is a lot of dog poop on the south east end that needs to be picked up and their is the occasional homeless person.

Not large but has variety of activities for families

Its a very family freindly park with a very unique play structure. There is a whole picnic area, baseball field, soccer field, and basketball court. It is located in a very nice neighborhood as well.

Needs more shade. Decent park over all clean... tons of beer caps for you beer cap collectors out there this is a goldmine

It is a great recreational park. It has two playgrounds for children of different ages. Parking lot is usually not full and parking on the street surrounding the park is also allowed. There is one tennis court, next to it the park offers many BBQ grills.

Great area for kids under 8 years old the playground is not too high so you dont have to worry much about your kids falling unless they are super small.

A beautiful green park great for bringing kids to. With a large field, tennis courts, and a play structure theres lots of fun to be had.

Great park with lot of play area for kids. The park is very neat and clean. The paving is also made very safe for kids. Lot of free picnic areas around with a large baseball and soccer field.

Pretty clean and bold park. Parking can get a little busy some days

Well the park was fine until I rolled into the parking area and saw children as young as five and below, darting between the cars playing tag. Moments later, a San Jose police helicopter comes over the park where all the families have gathered all looking up at the helicopter flying directly overhead, going in circles! The whurl of the helicopter blades was deafening as well as abusive! The copter stayed in the air for 15 minutes going back and forth around the park and started buzzing three blocks down overhead.... Ill never go back to that park again

Nice updated park. Soccer fields and other sports options. And a bathroom that was a tad messy but usable.

Great place to take your kids to play.

One of our nicer newer parks, the city is really taken care of this one. The bathrooms were pretty bad but the rest of the grounds were pristine. My only complaint besides not much shade was a handful of sketchy homeless ppl hanging out (hence the bathrooms being in bad shape). Not the parks fault but still suggest that sjpd make rounds and remove that element from otherwise is a pretty perfect park!

It is a great location but not too much for kids to play around. There is a playhouse with slides, swings and a physical activity play house. I believe there is a lot of space there and city could have added another play house. For boys there’s a basketball court as well. On a good day it does get busy and lot of folks come out there with kids and for a good walk.

Lovely park, great for children, adults and pets, lots of soccer game and a great picnic/barbecue park. Summer events like movies nights by local police officers and public officials are given. Visit Ramac park for family fun.

Good park. The baby swings are very short. They have a small play structure, swings, a web/obstacle course area. Park wasnt crowded early Sunday morning. Theres a reserve picnic area with a BBQ here, but the area isnt shaded.

In San Jose, the lung space provided by Ramachandran park is nice.

Good park! Lots of open areas but they are used sometimes. The construction closed off a good path. Good for little ones. Basketball hoop for practice available, biking/walking area there, and soccer field you can reserve (you have to be a program)

Very large park with lots of parking in the parking lot plus extra on the street. A big playground for kids and lots of seating areas for everyone.

A decent park crammed among the high density housing nearby. The park has about as much soul as the high density housing. Its functional but not inspiring. Includes a mixed use baseball field with backstop and an outfield big enough for a non-regulation size soccer field. Another part of the park includes a regulation soccer field (that appears to require reservations/permits to use). A third area has some small childrens play area.

Nice little park with a small play area for kids to play. Also great for taking your dogs for a walk as well as playing tennis or soccer.

My speele on ramnac park is its a pretty quit park if you ask me.

Just a great place to eat

Beautiful nice Park, very family friendly,a few dope heads hangout there but thats everywhere now in San Jose.

Access to the grass soccer field is not open to the general public. Play ground area and bathrooms are well kept. Small parking lot available but can park on the street too.

Some of the playground area was good for children, but extremely small and in desperate need for expansion simply due to there being a very large number of people at the park. It almost felt like you were stepping over/on people to manage your own children.

Good playground for the kids, nice open space, numerous benches and grills, having nearby bathrooms was very helpful, somewhat lacking in available shade though which was rough since it was an unusually hot day

9/30/19: Confirmed that this park has has become a joint for weed junkies and gathering of large groups that trash the park, smoke around the kids area, run generators and loud music, park the vehicles however they like drink alcohol and act obnoxious. Too bad for the families and kids that live in the vicinity. Never going back here again. Dont believe me, go over any weekend day and youll know the minute you pull up in the parking lot.The new section of the park is already old and dirty. Questionable characters in the parking lot all the time. People smoking weed in the lot. And very crowded. Stay away and go to another park in the area.

Nice little park for the neighborhood. Has a baseball and soccer field, basketball and tennis courts. But theres no area to take a run. If you have little ones, than this park is for you and the family. Conveniently located to places to eat and grab some dessert.

RAMAC Park sits on part of the old IBM plantsite where I work. It has a playground for young children, a picnic area with picnic tables, benches and barbecue grills. It has a baseball diamond which can also be used for football and soccer practice for children and young adults. In addition, this park also has bathroom facilities. This is a relatively new park, so it is clean and not too crowded. Go check it out!

Great park. Note: there are soccer fields, but they are locked to the public and rented out to leagues who maintain them when not playing. Otherwise, there is also a public playground, baseball diamond, and a few medium sized grass fields for running around and playing games.

Not a park for all ages.. which is fine, I just wish they posted this in there advertisement. We took our 11 year young son there to play, and the playground has all toddlers with toddler equipment! So we left we will go elswhere

The lawn is only 2 years old and now it is full of mole holes.We must have maintenance personal that have some botany experience. All san jose parks are like this.At the rate of pay a city employee receives we should expect more.

I love this park!! I take my daughter there all the time.

The park is not maintained. There is litter everywhere. Be careful where you step because the people tend to smash and throw bottles everywhere like its a sport. Also, Ive noticed a lot of gangs coming here and throwing bbqs.
