This place is amazing, Sara is my favorite bartender ever! She is so sweet and the service is crazy fast.

It was our first time at the Tap Room, the food was great. It looked like a great place to hang out, however half the venue was reserved and we had to sit at a covered shuffleboard table.

This place is very funnnnnn and they had good drinks as well. There were sooo manyyyy people that you couldnt even move around but it was a great fun bar to go to. You should check this bar out soon !!!!!!!!

The ambiance is off the charts cool, industrial, unique, upscale but casual, blends with the environment, and great space for a social meet.

I think surroundings and environment is what didnt work for me. It is a sports bar, people drinking and get LOUD, even for outside. Our Server was Awesome ... with a capital A. But this place suffers from what most re-opening businesses suffer from. Desperate hired help who are new, unknowledgeable to the job and barely speak English.

Came on a Thursday, good peeps, good games. Golden Gate Tap Roomr is not pricey either and serve good amount.

Huge drink selection and good food. The drinks and appetizers came quickly. The food presents well and was ok. Lots of games and screens to watch the game on.

The music is good, the genre jumps from one collective group to the next. I was surprised to hear computer love. Staff is friendly with excellent customer service. Cool vibe and so much cool things to do while you imbibe.

It’s a place of three floors to see sports games. In my opinion it’s too crowded. The food it’s good and with a big proportions.

It was all right. Beer was kind of flat. Food was average. My wife had been here before and remembered everything being pretty good. I on the other hand had not been here before. This was my first time. She told me that it was not as good as she remembers. Maybe new ownership.

My first real American Sports Bar, and I wasn’t disappointed until the food arrived, well almost. My SO ordered from the menu and was told that it’d be an extra $1 for a side that was clearly included, “oh, that’s an old menu”, WTaF!? Why is it on the table?My burger was ordered without onion, the first pic is most of the onion I managed to pick off it plus the glass that has been on our table since we got here (both clearly drinking beer, not whatever the hell that is). The bun on my burger was also dry aF, not great but the filling was pretty good and I was hungry enough to eat it rather than send it back, not that the waitress was too attentive once she had the credit card.Overall, the vibe and set up are awesome, just need to fix the kitchen and some of the staff (bar staff were awesome though!)

Cheap bar food and drinks (by SF standards). Fun bar for pool and watching sports with friends. Missed the happy hour, but I think they have one daily from 4-6. For travelers, the location is good too - central, and near a BART station.

We happened to book a hotel next door to here which was cool. They have a great selection of beers on and the food was good too. They have lots of arcade games, pool and shuffle board. Really cool place. Also lots of tys and 2 massive big screens for watching sport.

Came here and I was with my family and then I took a nap during a duke North Carolina ncaa game and then woke up to dreams of the homies and good times we had and then began to enjoy the laker and warrior game which the lakers won by the way and the wings and carne asada fries were fire including tthe 16 bone in wings with mixed flavors the mixture of beer selection is amazing the open seating works. I appreciatee the good times and the fact that they have video games is cool

Most fun bar time watch games in SF! It’s huge — 3 stories, and it’s almost like an arcade so there are also games and other things to do. Screens are plastered everywhere so you can’t miss the game, and it’s sometimes nice to be somewhere in SF where it’s not super stuffy or small. Expect large crowds during big games.

This is the spot to watch to watch the game.. whatever game it is and specially Bay Area sports. Massive and excellent list of beers with pitcher prices that won’t break the bank.Make sure to try the chicken wings!

Perfectly fun way to kill a couple hours in San Francisco. Decent food, great beer selection, and plenty of entertainment.

They have the best Marvel vs Capcom arcade cabinet Ive ever seen. Honestly, one of the nicest arcade cabinets Ive ever seen. It even has a sheet printed out of cheats, bugs, and easter eggs. Really appreciate that. Beer selection is great and so was the service.

A lifelong Warriors fan but the wife and I came to watch the Portland/OKC Game 3. Packed house. Cool ambiance. A ton of fans of both teams arrived.. Arcade games, pool, basketball, about 100 different beers on tap, decent bar food. Its a cool spot to peep out. Go Warriors!

Came in on Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. Wasnt too busy, no table service, everything had to be ordered from the bar, not a big deal. Pulled pork was good, other food was just average. Lots of beers on tap but would have liked to see more local ipas. Coolest urinals Ive ever see

Good beer food not so much. Boneless wings hard as a rock and all breading. Took me walking around to find ranch. Calamari was also almost all breading. Won’t come back

Great spot to watch a game. Huge beer lost and decent food. Went here for a MNF game and they have huge screens and the sound on. I got the fried chicken with buffalo sauce, which was very fresh but could probably use a little more of a kick. Fries were also kind of cold, but overall good experience. Ill definitely be back.

Great sports bar where I enjoyed to watch the NBA Western Finals. Great selection of beer, and there is at least one screen from every seat. I will come back!

Ordered a beer t the bar from the list in the wall, by name. Was handed a beer menu. No explanation. Thought the beer I wanted was out. Ordered something else...great...bottled. Who orders a bottle in a tap room? Oh well, at least it was good. Got a sandwich and while I was finishing that a waitress dropped by with beer and food menus. She then spent an hour at the waitress station at the end of the bar gabbing with the other waitresses. Never returned. Never asked if I wanted anything else. They’re not even busy. Finally left for a place where I can get a beer. Could die of thirst in this place. Good spot to open a bar.

A wonderful bar! Fun place to be great great and super friendly staff. A lot of drinking and food options, their nachos by the way are definitely on of the best I have ever had and Im Mexican! So trust me, they are awesome!They have a beer roulette, so if you cant decide what beer to have, you can just spin it and have whatever and even get a free shot along with your beer.

Terrible service, I wont be back :(Servers do not care about their tables. Took us 40 mins to try to pay for our bill... Not a joke. Very poor experience that could easily be elevated with new servers.Bar tenders are very friendly but unfortunately, they are not the front line. Great work bartenders on trying to hold everything together!

Good place to watch a football game and good beer selection but don’t except anything else. Just pretty straight up terrible service. I don’t know if it was just our particular waitress, but she barely checked in, food ticket was “lost by the kitchen” and only brought to our attention when we flagged her down 45 minutes after ordering 1 thing, and then gave us a check with mistakes on it

I brought a newbie here last week and he totally enjoyed as i knew he would and should. Great beers on tap. Lively atmosphere, and chill patrons. Thus joint can get really packed on big game days or special sporting events.

The location is great. The beers on tap are great. Excellent place to watch a game.The fries were cooked to a crisp but the fish was good. I will come back again.

Good beer selection but the food. Oof. The food is not good. Avoid the truffle mac n cheese. It tastes like they added about a tablespoon of truffle oil to a half a cup of mac n cheese. They messed up my order and its a good thing because the fries that I did get were cold.. but then it was replaced by the truffle madness that is their truffle mac n cheese. Go here for drinks, go somewhere else for food.

PROS-Better DJ for real old school hip hop than you find at a club!! Also, drinks good and strong!! Games were fun...did I say DJ was terrific?!CONS-they got our food order wrong and the Male food runner with the pink hair had an attitude. The truffle mac & cheese was NOT good.

Great place to eat and have a cold beer. Multiple flatscreen TVs, games, and plenty of things to do. The decor is cool and the wheel of shots is awesome. Take a date or treat yourself for lunch. The bartender Leilani is very personable and engaging.

Attended a corporate evening event here. The (buffet) food was pretty grim, mostly fried stuff, not much for vegetarians. The real issue here is that the beer selection is not good at all, and the vast majority of it is very high strength, 6-12 %. This does not make for a good session....

An amazing selection of beer and lots of games. Its right on Powell one of the main SF drags but its not touristy lots of locals. The burgers were also super bomb!

I was not feeling this place at all. Too hot inside. As soon as we walked in I was already freaking sweating UGH! Loud and some of the waitresses were rude. It was a bit crowded so the waitresses had a hard time maneuvering but they dont have to be rude about it. I do like the fact they had plenty of security walking around to make sure things dont get out of hand but it was just a big NO for me.

Great place for watching sports and decent priced drinks. They have lots of drink options and plenty of food choices. The union square parking lot is probably the most convenient parking lot nearby if you’re driving.

Great vibes in a large, easy to find Union Square location. Large selection of beers, loads of arcade and bar games including pool tables and plenty of TVs. Kitchen closes at 11p, so I didnt get to try the food, but the atmosphere was wonderful and tons of fun. Parking is nearby at Union Square Garage. Great for groups and casual date nights. Highly recommended.

Extraordinary wide selection of beers, lager, IPA, sours and more. Charming bar staff, at least the female version. I loved it. True it was 3pm, it wasnt busy, we had time to chat but it ticked all the boxes. Well known to the locals obviously, this is a note to the tourists who like beer... It is the best bar I found during my swashbuckling 2 day mini-tour. If they moved it to London it would take the city by storm. Cheers.

Excellent for watching sports. They have multiple screens and you can watch from anywhere. That said its just plain too loud if youre not watching sports, terrible acoustics, and i really dislike being carded and stamped in order to enter. Tons of beer on tap! And a beer roulette if you cant decide.

Loved everything about this place except the service. Food was great, the drink list is large, and theres tons of fun games to play. It wasnt too busy when we were there and I would like to come back. That being said, our waitress looked annoyed and it took forever to get our drinks.

A sports fans haven! Ever been to Dave and Busters? This place is similar but more bar-centric with a lot of seating and TVs...everywhere with 3 mini movie screen sized ones. The games (pay to play) at this place are a bonus. The food and the drink options are fitting for this tap room!

A top scene for tasty bar food. I look forward to going back again. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

Stopped by to hang out and watch some football. They have a great selection of beers. The food is pretty good as well, lots to choose from. The service was top notch. But come early if you want good seats...place fills up quick.

Snooty waitstaff that spends time flirting with the young attractive clientele and ignoring everyone else. Don’t waste your time. This area has tons of other great places within a couple blocks.

So many beer choices! We only stopped for one drink. Lots of space, games and TVs.

I went there after Christmas so yea the place was a disaster. The floor had alcohol spilled everywhere and was sticky. We went there to eat some food and got ourselves 18 or 24 set of fried chicken wings with ranch and hot sauce, the three stars is for the food and interiors. The place is too loud for me during weekends so I cant do that but the ambiance I have to admit is Dope! I might go back here sometime, give this place a second chance.

Sports bar gem. Only a door on the street, but go up a few floors of stairs and it’s like a sports clubhouse. 30+ beers on tap, TVs, skeeball and more. Tons of bar apps, some other food. Love it.

This place is exactly what it is... A Chicken Coop. Now that we know this, this place has big screen for all the Football games and food it is real good.

Not exactly hip and usually a lot of tourists from the square, but it has extremely reasonable prices, a ton of space, and GREAT fried chicken.

This place is really cool, has a bunch of beers on tap and also in bottle. They also have a full bar if you want hard alcohol. Great place to go for watching games or even playing them! Multi story bar which is cool too. The only down side I saw to this place was when it gets super busy the service kind of falls off which is understandable but can be countered if they just hired more service staff. But other than that amazing place!

If I could give this place 6 stars on the atmosphere alone, I would. It is absolutely the kind of place you could kill a whole night with your friends, just hanging out, people watching, or doing any of the many games. Thats not even counting drinking or eating. Prices are great and the food is fantastic.

Fun atmosphere to watch a game! Do not get the nachos! Their “special cheese” is low quality nacho squirt cheese. And the pork on top was 95% fat that couldn’t even been chewed through. Worst nachos I’ve ever had.

Great fun watching the Sharks and the Warriors win at this bar, while spending time with friends over a drink and some good fried food. Service was really friendly.Get there early on big game nights to get a seat if youre planning on eating, it fills up quickly.

One of my absolute favorite bars in the city. Cant go wrong coming here with the guys for a good time watching the game. They have a bunch of huge projector screens to watch sports on as well as TVs, some sports arcade games, pinball, and even shuffle board. If youre coming to watch a bay area sport teams game, show up early because it will be crowded.

Pricey sports bar in the heart of Financial and Union square. It is a fun place but dont expect affordable drinks when you come for the game. Arcade games look fun and the people are friendly. Its like an expensive Dave and Busters with no kids allowed.They have a bouncer and they check bags at entry so they keep out the less-desireable clientele.

The amount of space in this place is amazing for Down Town San Fran! From Buck Hunter, to Shuffle Board, FoosBall, Mortal Combat, Golden Tee, Billiards and everything in between, they have a game youd love to play. Im not sure why the pricing on Google is listed at $$$$. The prices are very reasonable ($$) and the food is delicious. Great place to go!
