I really enjoy this place. I have been twice and have always had a great experience. They have a lot to do (mini-golf, board games, arcade games), but they also have good food at good prices. The drinks are also well made at good prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend, especially if you are meeting a large group of friends or looking for something outside the normal bar scene.

This is a very cool, laid back place! It looks like something from the past as you walk through the neon paint under the black light towards a huge open space filled with air hockey, foosball, a shuffleboard, skee ball, pool tables, at least a dozen authentic, vintage, pinball machines all in perfect working order and even more classic arcade games from the past! I felt transported back to my teenage years with the same enthusiasm for the games except that the bonus was that its a 21+ arcade so not only is it filled with my peers and I dont have to fight with kids to get a turn to play any of the machines, but with a full bar- I also get to drink!! And alcohol was pretty much the only missing element back in my old arcade-going days. This is a great place to take a date, hang out with your friends, go solo, or visit as a tourist by yourself, which is what I did. I highly recommend checking out Emporium while in SF. Its open til 2am!!

We had a Emporium SF - Arcade Bar Venue from another pizza place, called CHPC and they were able to deliver 30 pizzas in under an hour. They saved us from having a room full of hungry scouts. As always their pizza is one of the best in the valley but this was truly excellent customer service.

I have been to this location 4 times already and everytime the food just blows me away with how amazing it tastes. Its a small shop in a tiny parking lot but i havent ran into parking issues yet. The staff is always super happy and very informative, the manager has told me a lot about the different types of pasta and sauces and how the prepare the food, as a foodie its so awesome to be able to look through the glass and see them prepping my food and get this kind of info while i wait. Every pasta i have gotten looks like it is from a 5star restaurant and taste amazing, i have yet to have a bad item. I never liked pesto before having it here. I recommend this spot to everyone i know when ever they ask about pasta.

Looking for a cool date night spot or a place to hang with your friends? Look no further, the Emporium SF has got you covered!Walking in, I was very surprised by how huge this place was. There is a stage, a dance floor, a bar, and a second floor area where you can sit and people watch! They have a ton of retro games that you can play with friends or meet new ones! They also have billiards and shuffleboard. My buddies and I came during a DJ battle, so cover was $10 that night - according to regulars they say there usually isnt a cover charge getting in. Cant wait to come back and show more of my friends this place!

A great solution to the question, “what should we do tonight?” This place is reasonably priced too. I’ve come here and spent $10-$15 on tokens between 3 people, playing games pretty much nonstop for about 3 hours. I really appreciate that. You pay regular SF prices for the beers, of course, but that’s expected. They’ve got a good selection, too. First time I ever tried hard kamboucha was here. It’s pretty good! I fully expect I’ll be coming back many times.

A local staple. Theres usually a long line on weekends, but its worth it if youre looking for something a bit more interesting than your bog-standard bar. Lots of fun arcade games, and upbeat music from the DJ. Seems to be closer to a club than a to a bar, but it really is its own thing.

Beer, sports and old school arcade games?!? You had us at all three! We came here for Game 5 of the NBA Finals and it was an awesome place to be. It brought back some childhood memories when arcades used to be in the malls and we would just keep putting quarters into these machines. They have the foosball tables in the back and once you enter the building they have the shuffleboard. The place also has two floors. You must check it out!Just a side note: they will check bags before going in. Don’t bring any liquids or else they will make you pour it out or just throw it out.

Its a good arcade bar. Bigger and better than the other one in sf. Prices are good too. Drawback is you need to purchase tokens instead of just using quarters which is definitely an attempt to get people to spend more money. That being said, its fun and worth going to for a night.

Pretty awesome barcade. Lots of space to hang out, cool atmosphere and good selection of beers. Some fun arcades and pinballs that you can play with their tokens (0.25 each, some games will cost 2 tokens). Best one in my opinion is Time crisis 4! Eat before getting there or bring your own food (they dont serve any) and dont forget your ID.

I had such a great time at emporium ! I came here on a Wednesday night expecting less people but it was actually very lively ! All the games are so much fun and the environment is really different. The inside is very neat and clean. However, they do not allow any outside drinks just as a heads up! Their mule cocktail is really good, but I disliked the black rose. The ginger liquor is not really my type of drink. The only tequila they had was don Julio. All the games take about 2 coins to play so it’s very well worth. I will definitely come back with more friends when I come visit sf again.

Looks like an old theatre but turned into a large arcade with a bar. I actually liked it, but I wish they had more choices for video games as Im a big gamer nerd. The choices in beer seemed like plenty and the crowd grew as the night went on. There was a DJ playing music throughout the night which was cool--give this spot a visit if youre into some old school gaming and a little bit of drinking.

Fantastic bar! They have a great beer selection (my favorite was on tap), professional and engaging bartenders, and the way the environment is amazing. I didnt try any food but if as much thought went into it as all else, I bet is great. The bar also doubles as a concert venue. The bar is built inside of an old school movie theater. Through four levels (over 3 floors), there is multiple bars and an enormous amount of old arcade games, foosball/air hockey tables, and pool tables. Coin machines (for tokens) are scattered around room transitions. (4 tokens/$1, a game is usually 2 tokens).I highly recommend this place!Food: N/ADrink: 10/10Environment: 10/10Staff: 9/10

This is definitely a “you must go” in San Francisco. The people there is fantastic and I enjoy it every single time I go there. Retro style would be the definition for this place. The arcade machines in my opinion don’t fulfill my expectations of the good games from my childhood. I think they are missing a bunch of amazing games. The DJ performs great music. What a shame that the dance floor isn’t bigger, it could be the ice on the cake for this amazing old theatre. In a nutshell, go there, change some dollars into tokens and start playing. PS: some people reserve areas for private parties, there is plenty of room for that.

Oof... This place was a disappointment. My significant other and I came here because we love Barcades and there are some decent ones where were from, but wanted to see how San Francisco is different...This place made us uncomfortable...If you dont have Barcades in your area, this place would seem like a fantasy... But for my partner and I... This missed every mark... Its sad to say that I would rather go to a franchise than here...Maybe on a slow day, this would be worth it, but the lines outside the multiple times weve been here tells me that this is over hyped and not worth it...

Super loud music, $11 cocktails on tap that felt sweet and weak, and bartenders that acted too cool to care what you wanted. The games, though: oh, the games. So many of them, all different kinds.
