This is a very iconic place. Luckily for us we went through during a pandemic. So there wasnt a lot of people taking pictures or walking up and down the street. So when this pandemic is over go early to take advantage of parking. Not a lot to do around the area. It simply a good spot and view to take pictures and took look around the area.

It is the most famous and flowery street in San Francisco! They turned a steep road into one of the biggest tourist attractions in the city, so the place is very crowded, extremely. If you want to take pictures with little movement, go in the first minutes of the day. There is parking on the nearby streets.

I was in San Francisco for one day on Thanksgiving. Im a Frontline essential worker and had to be there for work. It was under a medium lock down. 2020 has been a doozy, but I had never been in the city like that. Despite the lockdown, there were kind eyes of people that were exercising (yes, on Thanksgiving) that were more than happy to point me and my friends to an open restaurant, so we could eat. (Our hotel did not have food options and I had just ran out of my packed food) so on our journey for food, we decided to see the famous Lombard street. It was a heck of a hike from the hotel, but it was honestly beautiful. The lush greenery around it and the views were well worth the effort. Loved it!!!(Dont worry, I only took my face cover off for the photo)

If you happen to be in San Francisco, now is a perfect time to visit Lombard. Normally during this time, there are dozens, and sometimes hundreds of people crowded around the area (the city has hired workers just to direct the flow of traffic around here!) But right now, you might actually be able to have the best photo spots all to yourself! Its such a cool thing to be at one of the most widely recognized tourist attractions in the world and have it be completely empty. So give it a try if you get the chance!

This beloved San Francisco sight never gets old. This time, someone was bouncing tiny superballs down the hill. Not dangerous and a lot of fun. I was walking down, which is pretty much a straight shot. For the full curvy experience, drive down if you can. If you have a friend who can take pictures of you from the bottom of the hill, its even better. It will be crowded at top and bottom of the hill at any time of day.

Fun quick walk up and down with some informational plaques posted about the history of the property. Best photo position is probably at the bottom in front of the flowers or at the bottom across the street to get the whole road in view. This road is a tight squeeze for a full size truck but doable.

This is one of those touristy spots you shouldn’t miss when in SF. It’s a twisty windy road where you could walk/ drive past by and take pictures and videos. You start from the top of the street and can see the entire town below which makes for a good photo opportunity.Driving through this crooked street was a fun experience paired with beautiful houses on both sides. Do note that those houses are residential so please be courteous and follow the traffic flow. The views are breathtaking and you’ll enjoy every bit of it.The only thing that’ll annoy you would be the traffic. There’s traffic on the Lombard street, there’s traffic to get to this spot, there’s traffic even a couple of miles away leading to this spot. I’d say this is a one time visit kind of a place to enjoy the views and the twisty road.

THE CROOKEDEST STREET IN THE WORLD (really a stretch Lombard Street in the Russian Hill neighborhood) is worth seeing since it is really fun to drive and offers great views of the AMAZING city of San Francisco. There are 8 hairpin turns and the recommended speed is 5 mph (8.05 kph), which is just fine since it is a (long and) windy road. There are traffic police at the top on Hyde Street directing traffic and ensuring no one cuts in from the side street. You may even see a cable car go by at the top!HEADS UP: If you plan on taking a tour bus. Tour buses and vans with more than 8 people are banned from driving near the area. So you will not be able to see it from the bus. However, two companies offer Hop-On/Hop-Off service. My wife and I have done both and feel the Big-B Tour was much better overall (number of buses, sound quality, bus quality, etc.) than the Deluxe Tour.

A gorgeous, fun street! Its more popular on the weekend, so try to go another time to get better pictures. Also, so you wont have to wait in line, sometimes it goes on for several blocks! You can see coit tower and the bay bridge from the top, which are both lit up at night. Spring/Summer is the best time because all of the flowers are blooming. You can take the cable car from hyde street to get to the top, or if youre feeling athletic, you can walk up the hills! Its worth it.

The view from the top of Lombard street is great. You can see a bit of the sea merging with the San Francisco cityline. Be prepared to wear comfortable shoes and carry a water bottle. The walk up the street is at a elevation and will give your calf muscles a good workout. The street in itself is just beautiful and very well maintained.
